Aw sweet! i have one of them height adjustable stands, doesnt have those intrusions though. I want it to fit my new s2721hn (which will prolly come today or the next day)(which btw comes with a crappy NON height adjustable tiny stand). I didn't even realize i could remove the backplat and use it as a standard VESA stand! Good to know that!
@@VynZography Unfortunately the old stand ( Dell S2421HGF ) didn't fit my S2721H. Maybe there was a size difference, 24'' monitor stand not fitting 27'' monitor. Over the last 5months, I have gotten used to the height.
Can you just trim the two upper tabs to fit into a Dell monitor? Have a 24" Dell monitor, works just fine, but has the basic short base, have the more adjustable stand, but looks like the 2 upper tabs are a little too wide. So, why not just trim the width of the tabs? It looks like the rest of the square should fit into the recessed area! Thank you for a great video!
Hi yes that also works. A coworker did this for a few but the steel is not easy to cut and I wanted to one day reuse the stands on their original pcs which are currently on ergonomic arms. Thanks for your feedback 👍.
Brilliant! You innovate sustainably.
Thank you! 🙏 😝

@@FeverDev64 ohhh. Yes true. They will be different heights for different sized monitors ☹️

Great video. Any chance you have a link to the blueprints for the plastic piece you 3d printed? I have an MKS14b and could use one for it.
Hi Sorry for the delay. Here it is just for you 😜www.thingiverse.com/thing:6202470
That stand came from a 24'' AIO PC. The PC you put on that stand is it 27'' or 24''?
It was the same size so probably 24 but I don’t remember now 😕
This is awesome!
where can I get them??
The stands? They came with some other all in one's.
