@jmanfym TJ online (Tyrel Jackson Williams) was most notably on "Lab Rats", which was a huge Disney xd show (that I personally loved), SWIM (coy stewert) was most notably on "are we there yet?" and "Bella and the bulldogs", and Jada grace was most notably on "The Jadagrace Show"
grouptherapy gives me HEAVY BROCKHAMPTON vibes. Which is good because I love BROCKHAMPTON. This is the Saturation IV or sequel that never was, and it was so much better than I expected.
Ngl I didn’t think this album would get a review but I’m so glad it did, it’s one of my favorites of this year and grouptherapy is becoming one of my favorite acts out rn
I swear, it's actually insane that 2 of the members of the grouptherapy went from great actors to doing great in music now & I WONDERED WHERE THEY'VE BEEN SINCE OMGGGG, i'm so proud of them fr. grouptherapy>>>>
A lot of the flows in the verses as well as the general versatility and topics covered remind me a lot of injury reserve as well. Love what I’ve heard so far from this album
This album name alone made me realize that adult should still try to encourage kids to be kids even if they act mature for their age. You spend most of your life being adult so it's important to cherish the times when you're not
I just went and listened as soon as you made the BH comparison just to see and man this album is awesome. I havent seen the rest of your review but the Saturation 1 influence is clear as day and even some Floss era Injury Reserve. But Jada’s vocals give them that biting edge to help make it feel fresh. TJ does sound like Ameer on a few of the songs here too and I thought SWIM was Chance the Rapper on trunkpopper at first. This was one my fav first listens this year so far cant wait to dig in more and then watch the rest of this. Thanks for the rec
I went to listen to Grouplove's new album but grouptherapy came up in search first and Ive never heard of them and now I see this review so thats spooky
I like how you mention club song kinda sounds like a dramatic Disney moment since TJonline (tyrel Jackson Williams) used to act for Disney and everyone in the group was previously a child actor
if you want more new school stuff like this and brockhampton check they hate change's album finally new from last year! they're a miami duo with a lot of clear influence from outkast, and they have some cool drum and bass type beats. one of the members is non-binary continuing the queer lyrics from the first two i mentioned
Serious question for anyone including fantano. What genre is "your betrayal" by bullet for my valentine and "superstar" by saliva? I'd like to experience more songs like those but don't know much about rock music
Thank you!!🫶🥹
it's insane how all the members were child actors, and this album is just a showcase for their mental heath. An absolute work of art
Really? What shows were they on?
@jmanfym TJ online (Tyrel Jackson Williams) was most notably on "Lab Rats", which was a huge Disney xd show (that I personally loved), SWIM (coy stewert) was most notably on "are we there yet?" and "Bella and the bulldogs", and Jada grace was most notably on "The Jadagrace Show"
cool concept but when i dig into the actual lyrics on paper, it’s just generic rap verse. what rap is supposed to sound like. same with the beats
I produced american psycho, smiles, nasty, that'smycheck, help pt.1 THANK YOU
Bro you need to just join grouptherapt fr as an inhouse producer. Yalls chemistry is nuts!!!!!!
amazing work!
Hell yeah ❤
Literally all of my favorites on there, amazing job dude
Great job
This album has so much personality it’s unbelievable. I’m glad you liked it Anthony
Some rap songs
W Profile Pic
LOL
damn i thought i commented for a second lmao
Earl's best work
Thank you for hosting this group session for us Anthony
underrated comment

Definitely. Gives off some serious saturation vibes
This comment gives me HEAVY LEAD pipe in the frontal LOBE vibes
@@termiguin1 and that’s why opinions are a beautiful thing :)
Not even saturation alone, you can see they clearly dig bh in general. Theres elements of Iridescence and ROADRUNNER heavily present too
This might be the best vouch for grouptherapy that I’ve read so now I gotta listen
damn, im glad to see cardi b giving out such positive reviews.
okrrrrrrrrrr
Yeah I'm new here.. what was that reference? 🤔😅🤷🏻♂️
@@Fr05ty81at the beginning of the vid he says “hi everyone, cardi b here”
@@ApplzAndHoneyThis is actually the second time he did this, the first one was in the Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works review

I thought all of them were child actors?
yeah, all three of them were child actors. TJOnline was in lab rats, SWIM was in Bella and the Bulldogs, and Jadagrace was in Terminator.
More like groupindustryplant
@@jaydenwebb8758 hol up, TJOnline is Leo Dooley?! damn haha
jeremy has spoken
I can’t believe Leo Dooley from Lab Rats made this beautiful piece of art.
I know right?
Holy shit I thought this was a joke 😂
no fucking way
Some of the best chemistry I’ve heard from a group of artists ever. They sound like people you want to be friends with.
That's what I thought too , makes me wanna film a music video with them😅
Thank you Anthony for giving my therapist an 8/10
A lot of the flows in the verses as well as the general versatility and topics covered remind me a lot of injury reserve as well. Love what I’ve heard so far from this album
Leo from Lab Rats getting a yellow flannel by Melon was the absolute last thing I would have put on my 2023 bingo card
Let's not ignore that one of the members of this group was Leo on Lab Rats
thank you for introducing me to this group, flicked through some of their stuff and it sounds incredible, i need to look into their stuff properly.
What makes this review even more satisfying is that all three of the members are individually great people. Well deserved!
This album name alone made me realize that adult should still try to encourage kids to be kids even if they act mature for their age. You spend most of your life being adult so it's important to cherish the times when you're not
Was worried this might have slipped under the radar. The entire album is fire.
Wow I can’t believe your reviewing them! Super underrated group and I’m glad their getting some recognition
I haven't been sucked into an album like I have with this one in a good while. Glad to see you enjoyed it as well!
I was excited to hear this album when I saw your review and holy shit, what an album. It's 10/10 in my opinion, easily one of my most favorite of 2023
My therapy group is about to be so hyped about this 8, thanks melon!!

Thanks for the review Anthony I hope to chill and listen to tunes with you one day
They have this one song with an insane switch up, glad to see them on here!
This is actually their debut album
Wow! Wouldn’t have thought he’d review this. It’s been in my rotation. Hell yeah!!!
I went to listen to Grouplove's new album but grouptherapy came up in search first and Ive never heard of them and now I see this review so thats spooky
What a fucking album name…damn. Trauma relived.
A grouptherapy review was very unexpected lmao
Alt/Underground Hip Hop has been carrying the genre so far this year and I'm not complaining
If this album was called "I Was Mature for To Pimp, But I Was Still A Butterfly", Anthony would have given it a 10.
I’ve been rootin for them since I’ve caught them on my FYP. Definitely excited to see where they go in the future
I like how you mention club song kinda sounds like a dramatic Disney moment since TJonline (tyrel Jackson Williams) used to act for Disney and everyone in the group was previously a child actor
Does this remind anyone else of BROCKHAMPTON? In the best way possible
absolutely. down to the group name and album name lmao
I feel like a new BROCKHAMPTON dropped and I like it
Wow Anthony, the yellow flannel looks nice. You should wear it more often
ANOTHER yellow flannel? Has to be a record. 2023 has been one for the books
and yet he thinks it's a mid year for music
For mainstream it has been.
OMG THIS IS SO BIG FOR ALL OF THEM THANK YOU MELON 🙏🏼🙏🏼
We need that grouptherapy interview sesh
Never heard of them before but with a title like that, this has to be fire
I was justttt thinking how I wanted him to review this but didn’t think he would!! Let’s go!!
Just found out about this group and listened to this album, so sad I hadn’t heard of them before. Fucking great stuff.
YES HE REVIEWED GROUPTHERAPY. IM SO HAPPY!!!!🔥
YAY! Saw them open for Wesley Joseph out in LA they’re INCREDIBLE!
Damn melon rlly seems to be digging Homework recently
With all these good albums there’s bound to be a 10 this summer
If it was called "If you're reading this you need grouptherapy." You would've given it a 10
Was not expecting these guys to get a review but hyped they are!
grouptherapy is everything I want in a music group
On god. Album of the year, can’t wait for their future work
Cardi B?! Identity theft is not a joke, Anthony!
Yes it is. In this case.
@@turboshazed7370 How dare you say that?! Millions of families suffer every year!
Wasn't expecting you to review this but it's good and extremely versatile, glad you gave it the chance. They have a BRIGHT future ahead of them.
Melon, you didn’t need to give this album a zero because you weren’t invited to group therapy.
Surprised Cardi B likes this album as much as she does
Ones of those records with a perfect name
Hell yeah, i've been recommending this one to people and I hope it wont get missed
let's give it up for anthony for still wearing the yellow flannel in such hot weather
Hands down one of the best albums of 2023. This group deserves to be huge.
The album is phenomenal!
It would be a 10 if it was named “I was mature for my age, but u was still a Gemini”
I was expecting a music review not a personal attack from a band and album name 💀
I have my very first album coming this year. Would you be able to give it a go once its out?
It is experimental-instrumental music.
Do a review on Dominic Fikes new album Sunburn
Never seen a year run off yellow flannel like this.
Haven't even started the video yet, but wow, that album title is a gut-punch.
GROUPTHERAPY GOT A FANTANO REVIEW THEY GOIN UP YEAH
This is a strong 9 melon, take that 8 back
i’ve been liking this project quite a bit, especially funkfest
can’t stop listening…
Another great addition to this Mid year
I love this group so much, glad you reviewed fantanthony
smiles is such a great song, it accurately described how i felt so it cliked right on the first listen.
This is why ur a goat cus these artists need appreciation
THIS ALBUM IS GAS
i really need more songs like still alive, i spent the past hour crying to it, 10/10 man
Tired of all the 8s. You ever give out 9s or 10s anymore?
This is actually their debut album 😅
finally, a review from cardi b
this group is next up, holy shit this is one of the most impressive albums of the year. Fantano undersold it. It's a easy 9.5/10.
Who new the lab rats kid would be so good at making music

Guess i gotta listen to this because there are minimum memes in the comments
I get the feeling I’m going to need therapy after listening to this one
brockhampton 2
edit: wtf this album is so fire
did u ever review "my 21st century blues "from raye
I thought this was a mid year for music
Why does he keep saying this year is slow? 8s after 8s
I was NOT expecting this
Get me a track review of Fleet Foxes' A Sky Like I've Never Seen
Damn, when did Cardi B start reviewing music?
DAMNN I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS SCORE
very excited to listen to this!! have you heard the new Nothing But Thieves album? would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that one
ALBUM OF THE YEAAAARRR got my Brockhampton replacement 😊
Every Fantano review is a mystery. Didn’t expect him to enjoy this
