I learn more and more each time you share your experience. Being told that missing the last prayer will lead to a curse is a scary belief to have and that will influence how you view God. Thank you for sharing

Hey Selina. Love the consistency. 👌🏾
Firstly, sorry I didn't realize how much I wrote until I started writing.🙈 Guess you hit some triggers. 😅
You are right! "If you know you know". Yes, I know oooo. Lol. Not sure if the whole meaning of RTS fully relates to me. But you spoke my language, on some points.
Especially when you shared about making new friends, after cutting off old friends.
I don't believe I cut my friends off, I feel seasons, interest and time, created distance. But it was an issue in my old practice with an old leader, that I did not cut certain friends off but I never listened! However, I did become very involved in my old church, meaning I became so committed to the church and unavailable to some of my friends and they did start to fall away.
Also, the emotional and spiritual attachment is so important to release and HEAL from or you will struggle moving forward.
I wouldn't say I left my old church on bad terms, as I put my wellbeing first but that does not mean I didn't experience trauma or judgement from members, while there and after.
I genuinely believe, the Holy Spirit beforehand wanted me to make peace with my old family before moving on to my new family. As beforehand, I carried my pain everywhere. I mean everywhere! That was a sign, that I needed to be still with God and let him heal me.
I assumed my new family would embrace me like my old family had done. Again, building new relationships and learning to understand new people.
Reading my bible explains why we separate from certain people but the bible also teaches us to look after our home first. 1 Tim 5:8. This includes loved ones.
I will confirm there are many ways people understand the bible and that can also draw people to preference groups but also pain can draw people away and be in selected groups.
All I know is God see everything and when you read the bible with the Holy Spirit, you will understand God see and will handle all matters, including traumas and controlling leaders.
The Bible teaches us as believers, to not be like the world 1 John 3:17:14/16 but what does that look like? So it's so important to study your word alone and with others and let the Holy Spirit guide you.
I will admit, that speaking to Christians who are elders or young Christians, has expressed it can be lonely in the beginning but God sends people. I greatly believe God sends people, as I also experience it.
Others have shared they don't cut off but display their life according to how the spirit leads. And being an example of a follower, as the Bible teaches for others to see and be encouraged to know Jesus for themselves.
I can relate to struggling socially but I feel that's more with my age and health also. Others it due to trauma and feeling lost after leaving a church that was controlling but when you tap into the spirit, trust me, it will take you on a journey that will make you see things so differently. So different! Isa 55:8/9
Thanks for sharing. That's a wrap from me. Lol. Blessings. ❤️❤️
