- It was once believed that Joji would never return to comedy. More specifically comedy on UA-cam. Once his forte, he left behind TVFilthyFrank in favor of pursuing his music career. Through songs like Attention, Slow Dancing In The Dark, and Glimpse of Us, he would quickly achieve success. However, the humor that inspired characters like Pink Guy and Filthy Frank was thought to be left behind in the process. Today we talk about the discovery of Plummcorp Records, and its first viral video(s), Dracula Flow 1, Dracula Flow 2, and Dracula Flow 3.

I swear on my life you can hear Joji's speaking voice behind the camera in some of the videos. I've heard pretty much all of his interviews where he just talks normally and seen him live and I am almost positive that it's him.

And if you hear the laughter of the people from the absurd bars Dracula spittin one is so loud and pronounced like Joji’s. Sure maybe someone can sound like him but that laugh is so familiar to my ears as a fan of FF and his regular music

The other main thing about Joji’s health is that he is prone to epileptic seizures and doing all the weird character body quirks of pink guy and so on caused a few of them. His doctor told him he needed to quit. So simultaneously he delved deeper into his music hoping his audience would follow.

Frank was around during a very different time. Plummcorp is the evolution of Joji’s humor. Sure, those of us who experienced Frank and the gang miss those days, but any real Joji/Frank fan is just happy Joji not only was able to create a successful music career, but that he is able to get back into comedy skits in a way that doesn’t take a toll on his health or his sanity.
I will always remember FilthyFrank fondly and I say this as a long time fan of Joji/Frank, FilthyFrank should not be brought back. That chapter of Joji’s life is done. It’s time for us to move on and embrace what Joji is creating now.

I'm gonna say it. there are times when I think Dracula flow is funnier than the Filthy Frank stuff. I still love vids like "people I hate" and the pink guy album is a riot. But somehow Dracula manages to beat it just by sheer jokes per minute. All the lines are so funny. The fact that an Old man is reading this from a script with such conviction and not breaking character whatsoever, while saying the most vile things is hilarious. The editing style of the quick cuts is a holdover from the Frank days and it fits perfectly.
Like he says in this video, filthy frank was perfect at the time, and Dracula Flow is perfect for now. The guy is just a gifted artist and comedian. Filthy Frank used its outrageous lore and satirical humor to wrangle you into the story and that is when UA-cam content creation was similar to that style of video series that were based on the same plotline. Today, just outrageous meme bangers out of nowhere are hilarious to people who keep up with and are engaged in meme culture. Ironic humor and anti humor is just what hits better these days and I'm glad the man has adapted to it, because he is a part of it himself!

Also, one of the biggest things that pushed him away was when he tried being real with the majority of his audience on a second channel. It didn't go well, sadly. Though I got to share in a small conversation with him due to this. One of the best comedic minds.

He talked about the "hate" he received in a couple videos but despite me being there when they uploaded, I never saw anything but support and interest for the man behind the act. I think a lot of his issue was that he was way too in his own head

Joji didnt enjoy making filthy drank videos anymore but i feel specifically he didnt enjoy being frank anymore and not only because of the throat and seizure issues, just being seen as a degenerate and it being your whole "legacy" may have not been what he wanted, but he still has that humor, i just belive he wants to distance himself from being the face of it. I dont think he will show up in these videos but i sure appreciate the new content and his type of humor

I understand you not getting the appeal of the edgy humor of the filthy frank show, but TBH you seem pretty young. I don't think you grew up in the timeline where that was accepted as funny. Filthy frank to me feels like the transition point between almost everything being edgy to the more sanitized humor of today. Frank was parodying toxic internet culture, but in a way that could be embraced by it. As others cleaned up their acts or faded away he was sort of the last big edgelord, even if his intention was make fun of them.
nah dog i was 12 when frank was at his peak. everyone online loved him and me and my friends always made references and jokes about him and the gang. but as we grew up, we realized most of the humor was just gross-out humor or straight up offensive lol. i know he was supposed to be a parody of edgy humor, but if it looks like a dog, walks like a dog, and barks like a dog, it’s a dog. he was edgy and racist as fuck, and most of his fans didn’t realize it was supposed to be parody. it’s not about “cancel culture” it was more about just growing up

Those videos and songs are still great and many still love them, and they aren't a parody of dark humour, they were straight up simply offensive for fun because yesteryear was a more open and free time.

the majority of the videos were actually hidden. the only ones available to the public were 'dracula flow' videos, until very recently, apparently. ive visited the channel, probably ~3 months ago, and the only ones it had, were 'dracula flow' 1-3.

I don't get that. I think the Plummcorp videos are fucking hilarious and weird. Its certainly different to what permeated the internet when Filthy Frank was still a thing, but in my mind, change is good. Joji evolved and so did his fucked up humor😂
Fuck no dude, the offensive shit was the best part. Back when people didn't take shit other people said on the internet seriously. But you can't get away with jokes like that nowadays or somebody gets their feelings hurt. That's why filthy frank was so awesome, he just didn't give a fuck about people's feelings because his fanbase understood that it was all just for laughs. We needed an outlet like that. It's just comedy at the end of the day
I feel like it'd be backwards to return to the edgy humor. It was hilarious, but it was certainly of its time. For Joji to retread that ground would be old news, to me anyway. For anyone looking for new frank style content, I highly recommend RealPapaFranku. I used to watch him in high school before he went on a long break but he’s back now and the videos are just as funny as the OG channel with new characters too. With TVFilthyFrank2 gone, he’s pretty much the only good clone channel left that’s still continuing the lore and doing it with the same passion and edge.
George has always had that fascination with characters and lore building. Filthy Frank, Pink Guy, Joji, etc. Seems like he's missing the good old days of shitposting, but using everything he's learned through his career to build a new universe. But this time he's sitting in the Director's chair. Seems like our good old boy is living it up. Makes me happy :)
