The TPD - AverageRob crossover is definitely not something I expected.
AverageRob and Omdat het kan Soundsystem Leeds take-over powered by TPD...?
Thanks for checking out our sets! 💞 Glad you liked the tracks with words in💖😅
you guys were the best of the weekend! loads of fun!
hahahahahha
HAHAHAHAHHA love this xD
Ghost dj. Pre recorded garbagev
@omdathetkandj
Gonna be at W1 this year and saw that you guys are playing mainstage, gotta see it based off this vid
As you guys said, I think the best thing about Tomorrowland is the wallet return rate, apparently wallet and phone returns are extremely common. A guy lost his phone 6 times in a day as an experiment and recovered it at the lost and found every single time.
Me and just about every one of my friends have lost something at festivals. Probably have about a 75% retrieval rate. Turns out, most people are good people.
Cause they're all fucking rich anyways if they can afford all this shit they don't need another phone.
That phone would instantly be to some other country if it was stolen at EDC
People going at this festival earn enough, no need to steal a phone.
Respect that fact that they make a distinction between the fest and the music. The vibes are of course driven by the music but it seems they could still enjoy the fest while not being fans of the music. And that’s amazing. Now we need some house or techno producers:DJs to attend a metal or rock fest.
im a house dj ive been in metal bands and love both music is just sick so it wont be that different
there are djs who know how to play nice to combine these two genres see bloody beetroots live
The EDM scene isn't for everyone but the quality of Tomorrowland as a festival is sublime
yeah you're right
@@TPD
I'd say Electric Forest is up there in production quality. Tons of content and good vibes to film out there other than live music. Would love to see you dudes make a trip to Michigan one of these years.
Lost Lands might also be a fun one for you metal heads - allot of crossover
mainstream edm is usually shit because it's too much of a mix of all the different edm genres. that's why i prefer doing genre specific festivals like techno and psytrance.
EDM? Please get your references correct nobody in the know uses that term.

I think this is my favourite video so far. The fact that the boys can't stand the music but go to experience it anyway is wicked. And the link up with Zoe was so funny!
love that. we ended up very warm to it.
Many of the tracks in the background of the video sound pop or simple edm. I think that's a pity but well, it's music for the masses...
@@YesSirPhil I felt like they enjoyed those tracks a little more because they could relate easier and they were wanting words to sing to after all the beats. But I did thoroughly enjoy when they got to dubstep and more bassier music that they felt more in their 'rock' element. I think that's why that specific type of edm has always spoken to me as well.
Damn when people who aren’t into edm can have a good time at Tomorrowland you know its good.
My boyfriend and I both watched this video. We love raves and festivals we're big edm nerds. He unfortunately couldn't finish the video 😂 being an edm elitist. I finished it and have to say I love watching your guy's videos they make me so happy and y'all are such a fun time! But I don't really care for Alternative or rock, pop music all that much, but seeing you guys laugh, joke around is fun and therefore I keep on watching. I truly appreciate you guys making this video and keeping an open mind. I'm so glad there's more footage of tomorrowland 2023 so that I and others get to see since a lot of us aren't able to attend. I truly hope the rave community at least made you feel welcomed and I'm glad you guys overall still had a good time. All the edm lovers out there who watch your videos thank you guys!! ❤️
I wonder if the guys pumping their fists at this festival would be sort of your equivalent of having a cry when the 1975 plays a song
Hahaha yes
Exellent! 👏🏻👍🏻😂
🤣🤣
thats a serious commet
Emotional Damage.....
yess boys, the EDM scene isnt for everyone but im glad you got to experience that side of the music culture
we sure did!
Its all about the dance. That's why I love it so. Xoxox
I normally come on UA-cam for a quick blast of a 10-15 minute video. I watched every bit of this. An exceptional little look at life for Tomorrowland and very well put together.
The UA-cam algorithm put this on my homepage, never watched you guys before but I love the vibe. Good group of mates just having a laugh, really enjoyed this and consider it an hour well spent. What's next for you?
As a New Zealander I apologise for my compatriot . Just glad you showed the Australian flag 😂
hahaha as an Aussie I was fumin
I talked to the kiwis who were at Tomorrowland and none of them punched Razz, I reckon it was an Australian...
You were absolutely punched by an Aussie! 😂
@@2bitdale100%😂
wearing a flag & punching people sounds very Australian...
This is great. I'm a metal guy and this was my first actual full EDM festival and it was incredible. I was there in the DJ diesel pit with you in the LSU Shaq jersey haha. So sick. Great stuff guys!
hahaha that's great. take me back!!
Did u have any chemical party enhancers by a y chance? I know I couldn't do a whole weekend listening to that without them. With them I bet it's perfect mix. Will u be honest!!!
Thanks for labeling the artists playing ! Y’all seriously keep improving, top bois❤
This is the most comprehensive video I’ve ever seen of Tomorrowland. Thanks guys you’ve mad me a fan of your channel.
U know it’s gonna be a good day when TPD uplands a new vid
And to see Tomorrowland in the headline 👌🏼🔥
"uplands" sounds better 😂
Big facts 😄🎉
Tar for warning about the puke bit 👌👌
HELL YEAH BABY
1:04:28 Gala "Free from desire" is in EDM what Sum 41 "Fat lip" is in pop/punk/metal festivals.
It's funny I honestly don't remember hearing it at any electronic event in the states, but I've heard it a bajillion times now from world football videos and celebrations lol. It's a banger for sure
For me, the immersion in rave culture was a turning point. All I listen to in my daily life is rock and metal, but I decided to go to "Afterlife" this year, and I can say that the emotions and the connection with people that I felt at that kind of festival are like nothing I have experienced before. I love rock and metal, but the way I've come to love techno is incredible.
Exactly the energy and vibes at a Rave is just so much better than a Rock or Country vibe. Everyone is just there to dance their ass off and make friends. Not cry or try to start a mosh pit and fight with each other
I think that's the effects of decent E's mate!
This is so odd, just stumbled across these vids and something has been bugging me. I'm absolutely convinced I used to work with JVarley's dad (god rest him) back in my Street Lighting days back in 2005 to 2008. If it is the same guy's dad then he was an absolute top lad. Used to rip the piss out my accent like crazy but always a great laugh. Loved working with him.
WOW! That is mad, that sounds about right!
Thank you so much for the kind words, it means the absolute world to me when I hear people talk about my dad in that way.
From myself and my family, thank you! 🖤
100% agree Jamie was a top bloke a great father and step farther. The gentle giant we called him. From the description you've given you've got the right one 👍
Thank you for being open-minded enough to check out something that is different to what you’d normally enjoy! I’ve been to Tomorrowland twice and your review of the festival is very fair!! Im glad you saw Sullivan King!
I’m sorry some idiot punched you. That is definitely not the vibe at Tomorrowland and I hope he didn’t spoil it for you. :(
When I saw the section of the video for Sullivan King I was so excited for the boys. Dubstep always has mosh pits and I knew they'd have fun. Dubstep isnt for me but the rock/metal guys always have fun even if they dont like the music.
The boys just hanging out at my bucket list festival as a casual weekend thing 😂
So happy you guys finally went!!!! Hope you can appreciate that for people who really like EDM, this festival is one of craziest experiences ever
Great video. I feel every season there's always one video that captures the magic of TPDtv the most and I'd be very pleasantly surprised if anything tops this! It's always a great one if there's multiple times a vid I'm in tears and rewinding random bits. Last year the fest in Czech Republic was the same!
Always find it strange that people who primarily like rock, Indy and metal music really struggle to appreciate dance music. In fact they tend to mock it, but those of us who primarily listen to dance music also get right behind rock, Indy and metal
cos people get weird about things not having lyrics and don’t get how fun just grooving is. Also the whole “it all sounds the same argument”, even though most indie bands of the last 10 years sound very similar
But that's not really quality dance music....its a load of tacky eurotrash nonsense
It depends some people only really like 1 music genre while others like a bit of everything. Me personally I like metal, dnb, house, hardstyle, grime, all sorts. A lot of my mates will also listen to rock, metal and stuff like that and then listen to edm, dnb, house etc. All those music genres are usually quite high energy/fast paced which is why I think I like both metal and dnb cos they're both quite heavy and get the crowd moving. There are some music genres I don't really vibe with tho, mostly stuff that's more slow I just kinda fall asleep lol, but I wouldn't hate on anyone for liking something more slow/chill as I find it more interesting if people have different tastes, if everyone enjoyed the same thing the world would be very boring.
@@mrwals6361 I think it's because rock songs that sound the same are structurally more interesting than EDM that sounds the same, usually at least.
Like, intro-verse-prechorus-chorus-hook-verse-chorus-bridge/break/solo-chorus-outro and any combination of these various orders. The presence of lyrics played around with the structures feels better to listen to sonically because the variance is overt and feels more artistic and meaningful despite what it may have been designed to sound like. EDM song structures when they follow this don't sound that different from each because rather than having the verses with lyrics being the differentiation between verse 1-2, they just add more backing synths in time with the bpm which doesn't always allow you appreciate the change, especially when the point is for your edm song to have artistic merit and not just be noise. It's very much the kind of music that suffers artistically when live due to the lack of proper playback mediums, you would appreciate the artistry more when you can hear every synth as intended and not as just mindless dance music.
@@BigSauceI think what you described is true for some songs and certainly there is boring shitty dance music out there which is repetitive. However there are many songs and producers which have a lot of variation in their music. Artists like Floating Points and Four Tet are probably some of the best examples of this. However I massively disagree with your point that it suffers live, on a good sound system where you can appreciate the bass and nuances of the song properly it is second to none. I just don’t understand how people can serious say that every song sounds the same (in this video apparently regardless of genre) whilst simultaneously listening to the 1975😂.
This has made me want to do tomorrowland even more now, glad you guys enjoyed 😁
I love watching all you TPD guys but you four have a special chemistry. The ideal blend of personalities for a festival. Well done. Terrific video. Roll on Boomtown.
Did I actually watch a video of 1 hour and 15 minutes in it's entirety? Yes I did! Very cool to experience the festival at home with you guys. The last time I went was in 2017. Before that it was 2010. Now I'm just too old for it. I can't keep up anymore.
Very good rundown of what TML is. Nice vid!
Sick to see you guys watching Average rob, he's one of Belgiums greatest youtubers and i'd love to see a collab between you guys one day, would be insane
sickest colab of the century for sure
ZAaddyyy
Dude Arno would absolutely rock in one of these vids
@@nendemenne6686 he would!!
seems like a top guy!!
This is probably the best video of the season so far. Thanks for the good laugh, totally get the festival blues - and the rib pain, have struggled doing anything for two weeks after ending up in the Prodigy mosh pit at mad cool.
One of my fave TPD vlogs ever. A masterclass in festival vlogging 🙌🏻 loved seeing you all try something new that’s not necessarily your scene
I’m so glad you guys really went for it with the outfits too, truly experienced the fest as it should be!
Great video, we had a good laugh knocking around with you for a couple of hours. Keep doing what you do.
Choc was absolutely hilarious in this hahaha
"I don't understand how can't you enjoy MUSE more" oh man that got me laughing so bad, of all things, MUSE?? 😂😂
Dance Music is something really special, the culture, the origins, the meaning of it all - escaping from the ugly reality, connecting with people, enjoying the moment, being yourself beyond any judgment, I really love it. I understand people that don't enjoy it, or simply "don't get it" just blinded by ignorance, but there's something almost primal in losing yourself to the beats and sounds, it goes beyond the language barrier and we as humans do it since the cavetime, the message is just dance, have a good time and enjoy the journey. Anyways, thank you guys for being open minded about it and for having fun the way you could. If I have only one advice tho (not for you guys cause I think you wont be back for next year edition lol) is: alcohol makes you confuse and disconnected, if you want to get high in these kind of events, try something that put you in the moment, that makes your feelings and sensibility flourish (but in moderation, of course). Being hammered is something that don't match with dance music and, let's be honest, just makes you lazy and trash your body 🤫
Agree ❤
You‘re absolutely right about the dance music culture and described it very well! But i think Tomorrowland is the absolut wrong place to experience this culture. the stages look amazing and the light shows are crazy no doubt, but it has nothing to do with the actual dance scene.
i bet these guys would have a way better experience on a smaller, non-commercial techno/house/psy festival
@@noisy8937 You're absolutely right! But at the same time I think that going to smaller events or clubs without the cultural notion behind it might be "too raw" for some.. unfortunetely festivals like tomorrowland gets outsiders by the "magic", the structure, and through that people can dive more deeper if they felt connected in any way. It's like starting listening to EDM Radio Bangers, and then feeling that there's more to it and discovering all the infinite genres and possibilities in electronic and dance music
Pretty sure they would get cancelled for talking about taking other things 🧐
I also thought they were way too drunk. Just kind of makes it hard to stay for/experience the full journey, dance is a marathon not a sprint. You do a lot of cardio and its not fun doing cardio drunk 😂 they probably would have had a better time just drinking a few red bulls and letting the music and production do the work.
I also think they should have put in more effort to learn to distinguish and subsequently evaluate the different genres of dance.
That said I think it's great they went. They looked like they had fun. Maybe they will get an itch for another high energy experience and will go again sometime!
Sensitive content warnings? Multi-camera angles? TPD have become far too professional ;) Excellent work guys, keep it up!
hahaha nowt 2 iphones cant achieve!
Went 3 years in a row, 2012 to 2014, some of the best memories of my life. It’s incredibly well run
Yessss! I went 2012 and 2014 aswel. 2012 was the one to be at after that official 2011 aftermovie came out and that avicci song took over the world the hype was real!!! Edm was actually good back then it was a very time and a place thing for me but what a time and what a place ❤
2013 armin set after flying on a helicopter from the Netherlands straight after his wife gave birth + the heaviest rain of all time. No amount of stars will align again for a show like they did that day.
The 2012 after movie is my favorite to this day, so jealous you got to experience it!!
As someone that designs for DJs and events like this I have to say, well done for giving it a go as most would turn their noses up (probably a pun there) haha. I'd of loved to have gone this year so I'm super jealous. I love all kinds of music so would love to see more bands and musicians from your neck of the woods try some visuals that engage the crowd like the eric prydz show. I think both worlds can swap some notes!! At the end of the day it's all about creating an experience through the music, make you feel something. Glad you enjoyed it in the end!
Awww this has been my favorite video thus far. Being an EDM festival lover, it was fun to watch you guys get down and a bit turnt at Tomorrowland. If you ever come back to the states I know of a place that might blow your mind. ❤🎉
tpdtv takes lost lands? edclv perhaps?
@kourtneyad or at NLQP?? Oh my what time they might have.
I got a free home base for ya next summer. In zee heart of America. One festie crew to another.
Alot of people would say the same about rock as you say about 'EDM' (dance music). There are many genres and spectrums, Tomorrowland is known for more big room dance music and probably tailors to a lot of mainstream listeners with catch all music
Sensitive
Absolutely , I don't like the blanket term "EDM", it's dance music , and it's countless variations. There's so much variety , something for everyone.
@@stooooogs8763pretty fair comment tbh
totally agree, i dig both, and bands like pendulum and dare i say the prodigy help bridge the gap pretty bloody well
Agree. I’m an electronic music fan, i would never used the term EDM - that to me is commercial cheesy white like Steve Aoki. These guys should check out the likes of Jon Hopkins
That XFC bit was so so good! Cheers for making us wait for it! 😂 One of the funniest videos yet! Love seeing you try new experiences even if its not exactly for you and showing fun is where you make it!
I've been searching for a general review of Tomorrowland and you guys have just smashed it. The music is not for everyone but like you found out it's the experience of the whole festival and the effort they put into making it what it is. Thanks for sharing 👍
Amazing content as always. Hope you dont burn yourselves out cause you guys have been doing so much amazing content this year
I laughed so hard at some of the editing of this video. The party blowers 🎉 during the opening ceremony had me in stitches 🤣🤣
I was so fucking excited when I saw the teasers for this on insta (great job with that branded stuff whoever does it!!!) after binging your vids for the past month or so and this has got to be my favourite video so far, LOVED IT. I've wanted to go for years and this has solidified it for me being a bucket list trip. Smashing it guys! (Jake falling in the trench also fully fucking killed me)
Great video gang. Love a Sunday spliff and a new tpd before the week starts. Glad you had a good time boys x
Thank you for this, guys!! I really, REALLY want to go there next year!!! ❤
Hahaha too good boys!! So great to see this again after I went for the first time as well this year with my younger brother (as a Belgian myself living 15km's from Tomorrowland). Best day! Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!! Cheers
To be fair. As much as I couldn’t do a full festival of EDM those night sets look amazing! 👏🏻
you probably could, if you went with someone who knew what they were doing. There's a lot of bad music at festivals like this. If you don't know where the good acts are, it would be torture.
The detail that goes into the design and build of that festival is stunning. Don't think I'd be able to stand all the dance music myself, but it's clearly a vibe
Excellent video chaps! Great to get an insight into a different festival! Also massive respect to Razzy for how he handled the NZ moment!
Those rave outfits and the Edm dances was funny af.
I didn’t think you boys would actually walk about like that! 💀
Zoe! ❤
Great video guys. I totally get that this music isn’t for everyone, but it gives me energy like nothing else. I’ve done Creamfields and I’m doing Wearefvstvl this year, both “sober”.
Maybe have 2-3 beers in the day but that’s about it.
I like to do slam dunk, download and one dance festival every year.
Absolutely love this one boys, another festival that you've been to thats tempted me to go to! Well done lads
Took me about 5 festivals to get into EDM, now I'm that guy in line pumping my fist
lol
Yes TDP 🎉 loving your videos. Just binged, EVERYTHING even your pod casts top work keep it up
Was waiting for the upload all day! Thank you guys for your content.
I could not stop laughing my ass off bc if the boots wow thank you for the editing there 🙏🏻
I've been going to EDM festivals for 20 years all around the US, primarily in Los Angeles. You guys SOLD me for 2024. Awesome video, I felt like I was with you guys. Y'all genuinely enjoyed it, I love the content, too! Cheers!
I loved every second of this. You guys are so real for this 😂✨
The crowds at this festival look 100 times better than nearly all the previous "proper" music festival vids you have done.
Maybe it wasnt listening to the 1975 for 89 times in a row!
Seriously though, amazing to step out of your comfort zone, most wouldnt do it the otherway round and you proper went for it. Kudos!
didnt saw the other videos, but how bad have these crowd to be? tomorrowland crowd looks awful compared to almost any edm festival
I just love you, total legends! Had a really awful week but you have made me smile. The saying is you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory, so when you are all old like me all yours will be on film to visit again & you are going to love it as much as we do ❤
really could see that you had a good time and you look like some mates that you can really have some fun with! thanks for giving us such a nice look into the tomorrowland experience :)
Glad you guys were able to enjoy something totally new for you. Yes, the post festival withdrawals hit hard after TomorrowLand.
the different angles on the mainstage is top notch. great content as always boys
I was sitting watching the live stream for the last two weeks thinking “TPD would love this festival I know it”
Then I open my UA-cam and see this. What a blessing.
You guys are awesome!! Me and my wife binged watched 10 hours of you guys yesterday. This video is definitely our favourite.. We are huge techno fans... If you guys would have heard boris brejcha at tomorrowland you would have been blown away
Outstanding video as always, editing was particularly excellent on this one!
wild watching people who dont enjoy EDM / go to edm fests try it out as someone who has stricktly only been going to EDM fests for 10+ years lol
this channel deserves way more subs.... i fuckin love it
After watching the boys for the first time, I’m definitely subscribing. And merch lads!!!
You guys e great!!! So fun & entertaining to watch you guys make the best of it all together. I was cracking up & smiling through the whole thing✨💕✨
P. S
I love EDM music💗
I was there on the same weekend and it's so nice seeing the festival from your perspective. EDM isn't for everyone for sure, but there are so many types of styles within the music category and I noticed that most of the stages / acts you visited were very similar. For example, Core was full of melodic house which is very different to what's in this video, lyrics, softer beats. Thank you for making this video, i re-lived it through you guys and it was fantastic! I take my hat off to you all for attending a festival with music you don't particularly like. Wish you all the best.
Lads it’s good to see a dance festival I agree purely on the beer that’s a grueller but a spectacular festival none the less , great effort to see you branching out to different genres 🤣🧨🤙🏼🫡😀👍🏽
This video has had me gripped 😊 me and my boyfriend watched the live streams as much as we could that weekend. We really want to go to Tomorrowland!!! Seeing kid cudi come out blew my mind. He is amazing saw him at the O2 just fantastic. Well done boys. Keep up the good work and hopefully one day I’ll get to meet you 👌
Thanks for this video I am a massive rock and metal fan and have always wanted to go here on the basis it looks insane even though I know the music isn’t my style. This video has definitely persuaded my mind to go. Just looks such a good festival
Thank you for being open minded ❤
Choc is an absolute gem ❤
YESSSS, I’ve always wanted to go to Tomorrowland, Now I get to experience it through my favorite guys
45:15 BRO THATS NOT TIESTO, thats Hardwell ahaha :)
I am never eating food while I watch your videos and the ONE time I happened to be you gave me a warning and I really appreciated it so thanks
Sound effects when choccy was walking round in the boots killed me! 😂😂
this video made me smile just to see how much fun you guys have!
I'm just mindblown, this video is a masterpiece. You guys can reach global. Keep doing it. 1h and something of a well made video and properly delivered. Whoever made this is really good producer/editor.....
1:12:47 Recommending Boomtown as an alternative festival while you're in a town called Boom...
Just been at Lollapalooza Chicago this weekend. Definitely one you guys need to try out. Absolutely amazing.
that was my 4th time at tomorrowland, think it’s the best one they’ve ever done. having lost interest in edm though I’ve also realised the importance of being hammered at all times
cant wait to return
@@TPD you should try one with more underground music. It's not nearly as monotonous. Not as good of production (cause nowhere is). But still real good stellar vibes.
@@gregtufaro8166 i'd argue it's more monotonous lol
This is how a proper honest vlog about the Tomorrowland should be. Congrats!
Sick video as always... bumped into rob whilst out on the piss in leeds this weekend, popped over to say aup and i was greeted by a super down to earth, normal, appreciate and aound bloke. You deserve Ll the success you get lad, hars off to ya bud.
Hopefully catch you at we out here, end of the road or primavera weekender this year!
The rave outfits are sending me 😂😂😂
those raving outfits are unreal, choc stole the show with those clompers
It looks like the best layout of a festival that I have ever seen. Several bars with seating, many dance floors and no mud and beer sold in glass. Clean showers and toilets.
Yooooo this content was solid and funny af hahaha smiled throughout the whole video. SUBSCRIBED
That was a blast, im the same im not a EDM fan at all as varls will vouch. Did a great thing still going and showing the real deal of a festival that isnt for you, There was big energy regardless. Love the commentary overlay at the end gives it a good gisign off 👍
How you didn’t drop acid or molly is crazy. Looks like such a vibe. Great video as always lads
I think choc took the crew's whole supply
What an insane video, an experience that will never be forgotten.
I'm watching anxiously and waiting for my ticket that will happen here in Brazil, I'm very anxious. thanks for the video
Lots of laughs this time around. Banger vid, boys. Good to see Choc! 🍻
I love myself some EDM, Creamfields is the only one I’ve gone to and im going again this year for my 2nd time and its good to see you boys try something new even know your all rock and roll 🤘🎸
Only found your channel this week and my first thought was....wish they went to Tomorrowland! And it’s come true! 😂
Also, I never thought I would go to an EDM festival like that, but you might have changed my mind for the futures. Always big love to the ZL appearance too 🤟
For me, one of the best Tomorrowland reviews I've seen. Thanks a lot lads. Shouout to Eastpak, for keeping the tissues safe and well
This festival is on my bucket list. Before watching the vid I wanted to go, now I NEED to go!!!!
