I'll never get bored of the classic GTAs - so these story mods are aways a treat! A new demo for GTA San Andreas Stories has just dropped which is now publicly available. It features 13 story missions, some side missions, a bunch of collectibles and a whole new soundtrack. The rest of the missions will be uploaded in Part 2!
Biggest problem with the dialogue are the voices and characters are still way too formal, they should be speaking a lot more slang, also main character's skin should be changed, he just looks like a normal pedestrian
Yes, Jose is the FIRST Mexican GTA Protagonist. I would say it's somewhat canon because the community loves it and it's a new whole gameplay set in SA.
Looking forward to Vice City: Next Gen Edition but I just hope they add some interior lighting/shading or the interiors will look very bland. Has huge potential!
i enjoyed this mod a lot! sure, it's a demo, it's buggy and sometimes unpolished, but the attention to detail is amazing. the radio news, map changes, the soundtrack, you can even hear berkley complaining about zero on a radio show. i also like how the story is going - the whole store robbery storyline tied into jose meeting tyrone was played really naturally. the cutscenes are amazing, too. can't wait to play the final version!
woah, the dialogue isn't so bad, and I love that with advanced AI voice models like these will allow these kind of story mods without the og actors even being alive, the possibilities will be endless 😅

I like the idea of the protagonist not being Cesar like most people expected an official SA Stories should've been and instead of that being a completely random and obscure character that nobody remember. When Rockstar made a protagonist being a character that appeared before always was a random guy that nobody expected to be the protagonist, never an important character
This looks really promising. A few things that I’d like to critique; I hope the final version will have vehicles that are more period correct; some of the cars are too modern for the 1989 setting. The same for some of the gang attire; some of the clothes and hairstyles look too baggy for the time period. I really want to see the soundtrack for the radio stations as well; if it’s still in the works, I’d love to suggest songs.
The Vagos and Aztecas clothes being baggy I can see because cholo style by the late 80s was baggy but the Ballas and Families would definitely be dressed more like NWA with varsity jackets, track jackets and maybe even some bucket hats.
@ The cholo attire is pretty accurate for the time setting. Yes, baggy clothes were around in the late 80’s, but the trend was still in its infancy then. It wasn’t until around early/mid 90’s that the baggy trend fully developed. That said, the bald head/pelón trend wasn’t common in the late 80’s; slicked back hair was still preferred. The Ballas outfits are mostly accurate, minus the big dude that resembles Smoke. There should be some similar styles with the Chicano gangs (ie, tucked in T shirts). I do agree that Grove St members are way off; they should look more like what is seen worn by NWA and in the movie Colors.

What I love about this mod is the fact they never skip out on Sunny, Hazer, and Hector whom we met in the Los Desperados mission, giving us an insight of their characters and personality. Sunny is the funny and outgoing of the bunch, often times messing around especially in his dialogues. Hazer is more of a cut-throat guy, he seems mean, but he seems to care for his friends and his hood. While lastly, Hector. Hector is the no-bullshit hot-tempered kind of guy who doesn't take bullshit from anybody. He shot Jeffrey after throwing an insult of where they came from.
Dude, I really liked your project, I thought this mod was really cool, when it's ready it will be available for us to test, your best for this😁😁 project to be one of the coolest of all
1:56 Man, the fact that they mention the 88 earthquake means that the SASQUAD Team was attentive to the community's suggestions and the lore of the saga, it means that when we visit San Fierro we will see the consequences of the earthquake on the urban structure of the city, that is one of the things that the community has asked for the most, let's hope they live up to our expectations
Lol exactly what I have been thinking but it could be that he doesn't know where to meet Cesar because he is new to the city so he simply told him to pick him up at a random bus stop
He probably accidentally took a bus that went a different route, than just got off around there and called Cesar for a ride instead of taking the full route.
I know this mod is a work in progress but at least will it include the whole map to explore and have missions in I hope this isn’t a 10 mission dlc this looks awesome
It is said to have 80-99 missions and yes it will cover the entire states of San Andreas If you go to SF or LV you can see some changes to the map and updated models for gangs

You must be psychic...I've just finished the final episode of the Penguin about an hour ago! Brilliant show and shows more comic book adaptations need to be darker and mature like this. 👌 Also to get the mod working don't use the common downgrader found on GTAforums. Go for an older option as for some reason it conflicts with the mod.

@@Willzyyyiirc the downgrader has problems with particle mods/files for some reason, leading to a game crash. i'd recommend grabbing a clean 1.0 copy from the internet - will save you a lot of trouble
Varrio means gang (due to the gang that started in the 40s in Cali with a similar name) at 8:41 you mean Barrio (meaning neighborhood) All in all this mod looks dope and I wish I had a computer. Also I can’t wait for AI to get better, the inconsistency is annoying 😂
Real talk, the only flaw with this is the voice acting and some of the writing, which, admittedly is rather jarring. But if they redo that aspect I see this possibly being on par with the original SA, it has that potential and I wanna see it realized. 8.5/10, but could be a 10/10 easily!

Well, the a.i and dialogue needs a lot of work for sure, but the rest seems very promising
I saw some good mods as well, sindacco chronicles, forelli redemption, and friged winter.
@@calangoraivoso9921 The dialogue has slightly improved since the old demo I uploaded, but yes it still needs more work before the final release.
Speaking of that, I can hardly wait for the second trailer of GTA 6 to come out. It's been a year since the first trailer came out.

It doesn't make sense why the character gets off the bus near the beach when the safehouse is literally right next to the airport.
