    Been doing Scrunchies since the 80's (Google lady who created them), I wonder why so many people invert tunes before going onto next one.
    I do all my tunes (regular or burrito) then tunes to a comfy chair. Turn on tv/movie & invert tunes, put elastic through, then go close all the tunes.
    It gives your mind & body a break.
    Been more than 30 years, this process allowed me to put my daughter through 8 years at John's Hopkins University.

    Would you please share exactly what kind (brand, style, width, length, etc) of elastic that you use? Thank you !

    if u can flip them later rather than doing it on the spot. it would help u sew more and ur back wont hurt sooner. You can flip them later when you are relaxing on ur chair.

    you did great but perhaps try sewing the short side of all your strips chained together then cut them all. Then do all the burito sections, it saves on time as you don't stop start all the time. I also stop and do some elastics and finish off some completly as it makes you feel like you have achieved something ready to sell as sometimes things happen and you cant get to the last step for some reason.

      This is what I do! I cut and sewed like 42 today in the span of about 4 ish hours. Really goes by quickly batching the steps together like that.

    It looks like your machine has a thread cutter on the side- if you can get used to using it, you won't have to pick up the scissors in between each seam. Little things like that can really add to efficiency!

      I thought about using that but It's just a hassle having long thread!

      I just measured my wrist for the elastic! Just kept a little room. As for the fabric I get the pieces in 1/2 yards length at the craft store

    Wow scrunchies are really popular in your area. What are towel scrunchies?

    • @brennamandco
      @brennamandco  2 роки тому +2

      Towel Scrunchies are Scrunchie that you can use when you get out of the shower to keep your hair off your neck! Some use them for heartless curls and also putting one on each wrist while they wash their face so no water drips down!

    Hi, wow youre amazing! Ive got a short attention span ( adhd ) and i usually get bored after 1 hour hahaha and lose interest.
    Ive never used a sewing machine before but id love to learn so i can make scrunchies for my toddler!
    Is using a sewing machine hard? It looks scary.
    Do you have any tutorial on how to set up a sewing machine to make a few scrunchies for my daughter?
    Thanks heaps
