You're a mind reader! Girl, Loreal recently discontinued their mineral powder foundation which I've worn the past 20 years. I went to Ulta and felt so overwhelmed! I got Bare Minerals but it wasn't my shade... so back I went. My bestie jumped in and had me successfully try the green Loreal BB cream. It got me wondering, not for the first time, "what the heck is the difference between BB, CC, and just tinted moisturizer??" Great video ❤
Thank you for explaining the differences between the products. I hate foundation- It always feels like a mask and a tinted moisturizer also felt like a balmy mask. Same for the BB creams I have tried. I'm going to give a CC cream a go- It seems like it will give that even look and an almost satin-like glow.
I really liked how the first creams looked on you, it looked more bronzey/sunkissed than dark imo, but i can definitely relate with liking the matte look a bit more haha! I wanna try something different with my makeup especially since ive cleared up most if not all of my hyperpigmentation so im really looking forward to buying that first cream🥳
This video is perfect. I don’t wear makeup at all just because I don’t know how to and I don’t have the patience to learn, so I just need a technique that can easily hid some imperfections. I’m gearing towards a bb cream

On a daily basis, I'm a minimal make-up wearer (just mascara and lipstick and a little highlighter/bronzer), but I'm considering wearing BB cream as I go into my 40s. I thought your tutorial was very helpful and has given me the reassurance I need to go buy a BB cream, as I think tinted moisturizer and CC cream will be too heavy for me. So thank you! I also like the way you describe things and show the before and after. It's great having more people of color on youtube to help me feel comfortable about my purchases based on my skin tone!

Been a consistent user of Thrive Causemetics for years but can never get the right color bb cream. Recently tried DRMTOLOGY universal tinted moisturizer and it was super “dewey,” almost oily but didn’t do anything to “tint.” I SO appreciated your comparison of the different formulas, especially since you’re a woman of color like me. You did demo the different types of formulas and was very descriptive of what you experienced. Mahalo for the reviews. 😊

The first two was a better shade then the tinted moisturizer. To be honest you aren't that light I don't understand why you would think the tinted moisturizer was perfect when you definitely could have went up a shade

I just went with your recommendation of the BB but i first put REVOLUTION PRO Blur Stick and it's pretty epic. It's more of a matte set face
Using matte primer actually helped me with that shine. I have oily skin and I too go for the matte look and often powders

The BB cream made you look like you tanned a but in the face. Applied to the neck and chest as well, it would probably look fine.
