  • Check out these simple and effective activities to improve your balance and decrease risk of falls. If your are an older adult or caring for an older adult, this video is important for you. Unfortunately, falls are common in older adults (1 in every 4 people 65 and older every year.) And falls can be serious (one in five falls in those over 65 result in injuries such as broken bones and head injuries.) Work on preventing falls by practicing balance activities that make your brain communicate with the rest of your body. These exercises are made for you by me, a Doctor of Physical Therapy practicing for the past 10 plus years.
