In regards to that retro collector that had all that stuff, respect to you for being able to read the room and hold yourself back from constantly asking him how much things were in hopes that he’d sell. A lot of people either ignore the signs or just aren’t aware of them. I can’t believe he had all of that!

The Street Fighter artwork looks awesome and that pawn store owner must be paying better rates than CEX to get all those games handed in. Wish there was somewhere like that near me.

Made my day when you pulled out Mercs. Soaked in nostalgia from playing it every morning of the summer holidays back in the day. It’s one of those games I need only see the cover art and I’m right back there. A blast of a game that I love to play to this day (especially when rocking the flame thrower). There is a version of it on Capcom Classics Collection vol. 1 (PS2/XBOX) that allows multiplayer up to 3 players - handy for a quick game with my little man. As ever thanks for all you do, your vlog has been part of my Sunday since you begun them and this one was a banger.
Literally the only vlog I have ever been consistently sucked in to watching on a regular basis. Sundays are now RG Sundays.
Your content is always fresh and covers all tastes, genres, and all things retro, and modern.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a short on your SNES box restoration process as I am always in two minds as to whether I want to tamper with mine and end up causing more damage without a guide to follow along to. Mercs is a fantastic game. Great too down run n gun action. You'll definitely enjoy that one. I saw you grabbed Shadow Dancer and put it back down. You'll definitely want to get that. The artwork isn't very enticing but the game is really good. I think it's a must for your collection.

Less than 2 minutes in and im already impressed by that Nas and Hennesy colab. Being a Hip Hop fan myself for over 30 years that's something I would really appreciate sitting on a shelf. Is there anymore?? There's gotta be a Mobb Deep one surely as they were always mentioning the henny 😂

I picked up a mint copy some years ago for £50 which was top price at the time!
It's a great game (although not quite as good as 1 and 2) but not many people seem to know/mention that it was released with a slightly game ruining bug!!
when you play the game more often than not the sound effects for hitting enemies do not sound! - so when you hit them you often hear nothing instead of a crack/thud - it is very hit and miss and it's hard not to be dissapointed when you play it - especially if you've just spent £200+ on it!!

Streets of rage 2 is probably the best , but these days I find myself more nostalgic and preferring the 1st streets of rage with its iconic origional soundtrack and tunes 👍

For me the side bits with the controls info on were the better 1s suit a kiosk alot more and top gear wouldn't of made the wall lol awesome how they made them up for kiosk

The kiosk looks sick, what a fantastic job. Having seen that… have you thought about getting some ‘strips’ made for the front shelves of the Nintendo wall? Maybe something simple as Nintendo logo?
Or you could get Mario and designs of a level… as if the whole shelf is a Mario level? Maybe just characters from certain games across?
Yeah im really happy with how it turned out, all good ideas mate, but you have to be careful not to over crowd the games... sometimes keeping things clean and simple is the best way

Holy nostalgiablast! I had Young Merlin for the snes as a kid. I still don´t know whether I loved it or hated it. It was a lovely frustrating game! I have fond and conflicted memories of it! XD

Morning! Reminded me of donkey saying it to shrek and the princess 😂 love those films! Those megadrive games!! 😍😍 I'd have had to have had landstalker I'd say and you didn't even pick up shining force, that's also one I want for the rpg run on the megadrive.

Mercs is a great game. I had no idea what it was when I got it and I was totally impressed by it on first go. Shining Force... classic. I've only got the first one, hoping to find part 2 in the near future. Shining in the Darkness, Phantasy Star 2, etc... some real good options RPG wise on the Mega Drive.

The kiosk now looks mint, I couldn’t think of a better game to have in the kiosk art.
That’s mental that a guy above a pawn shop would have all that retro. Though I guess he’s just been chipping away and collecting the good stuff as it’s come in.
Mercs is a cracking game and one I was surprised you didn’t have already. If you’re collecting PS then the Capcom Generations set is WELL worth tracking down as is has an arcade port Mercs along with loads of other Capcom treats. Well worth tracking down. Though to add to that it’s also likely on one of fhe Capcom Collections on the PS2.
Jim is a cracking guy and really works hard to get his games, that guy really does hustle hard.
