Wow...your channel taught me a lot of things plv thank you❤...thank God for discovering your channel earlier this year And also what do yu use to edit your videos?... they're so good
Awwww I'm so happy to hear this, thank you so much ❤️🙏🏻 I use Premiere Pro (but all video editing software do the same, it's all about finding your style ;) )
The scheduling aspect is soooo helpful, and it's something I've slacked on lately. Every time I have scheduled my week though, I've gotten a lot more done. Congrats on your success PLV! 🙌
My Goal: Full-Time Music Producer/Content Creator & DJ I've been DJing for 4years and really comfortable w/ that now and am even learning scratch DJing and seeing how I can add that(Hip-Hop Vibe) into EDM Music Production - I started making Lo-fi due to my computer being terrible. I run about 40% processing power finishing a lofi track but plan to switch to Bass/Dubstep Music. It'll be great seeing everyone learn and continue down this path!
Idk if it's too late for you to look at this comment, I'm 2-3 years in to music production, I've already had an EP ready to release. But the thing that's holding me back is that I have to finish my bachelor degree and get a stable 9-5 job to support my family's finance. I don't want to complain anything, I have planned to continue learning/producing music and find a way to making a living out of it as the time I'm trying get a stable finance to invest in music. Tbh right now I don't think it's wise to give everything up and take music as a career, though it's the goal I want to achieve, to live with and by music because it's the cure for my soul. Currently I'm still following my plan, and thank you for your videos, it really inspires me to keep my head up and go on. P.s.: English is my secondary language so excuse me. Truly I just want to share, not to complain at all, I know the cost to make music as a career and I'm on my way to it. Anyways, Thank you again.
Im fixing to go to school to school for music production I'm finding every free resource that I can and your videos have truly been helpful and I've only watched two so far this one and another. Where I'm at right now is song writing and trying to come up with beats. But coming up with beats is a little tuff honestly but I think I can do this. I took away that I have to be consistent keep practicing and just learn as much as I can. And also get feed back and make a social media presence
I’m in the stage of gettin my equipment which is a laptop & start learning the basics. Even thou I watch & learn from other producers I still gain a lot of information just from watching & not having the equipment rn.
Right now I am at a point where I have made music for some clientes I myself found in Discord servers😂 but the thing is, I still cannot make a living of this, since these clients are not consistent with music, every once in a while they have a project they contact me back, but I think I need musicians with an active music career so they keep me busy, or maybe someone to hire me because I dont like this feeling of having a busy month and then another one without work at all... I started uploading my music in January and I have found out what my audience likes, my first short received great support so I continued with that (instrumental remakes); once I wanted to make something different, my views lowered, so now I found out what they want😅 Thank you so much for your videos, I discovered your channel today and instantly suscribed. Definitely going to book a call with you💯💯
It will always be a hobby for me to stay independent from it. I love the process of producing songs and to share them with the world. I can’t imagine to schedule time slots to work on music, for me music is more like a tool to process a mood or emotion in the moment or it is just a melody that popped up in my head that drives me to work on it.
Congratulations! I remember when you were doing the Kygo monthly/studio class reviews. Now you have grown so much, and you are out here sharing valuable knowledge. Keep it up!
U was talking about everything i do before I watched you video But anyway after watching you video i had a feeling of not giving up from the plan of quitting the job and focus on my career with 0 listeners on Spotify 😢 But next year am taking the risk I have 2 beats and 1 song but still have no listeners’ but the good thing is I know why I don’t have listeners So the 5 months left am learning to sing and understand the notes🙏 god give me more strength I’ve been making beats even recorded songs for 10 years now but using my home language those songs never went online! but now am taking it to the NEXT LEVEL Decisions are made No backing off
Just starting out online. I have been producing songs for a year, but really excited to start building on socials. Watched your video on setting up in OBS and everything with that. So inspiring!
I am about two months into producing music. Looking to fully release my "first track" really its my fourth but the one I feel most comfortable publicly releasing. And went fishing around on youtube for content to help me start building a social media presence. My real social media gets decent attention just hoping I can get it all to transfer over into my music stuff haha. Really big on the EDM scene and its been tough but I am sticking it out and really want this. I can't believe I stuck to this for two months straight. My biggest takeaway from this video is that ill never feel ready. I just gotta say screw it and do it.
Started to finally get my music ready to send to labels, and also played my first real DJ gig 2 weeks ago! Now trying to figure out the next steps for my career :)
Hello all! Just a bit about myself. Since my childhood I always dreamed of being a rock star as do many. The only thing is I would never enjoy doing live performances due to stage fright. I grew up in a musical family and my father played guitar for a country band. I guess it's in the blood because as soon as I got my first paycheck I rushed to the pawn shop and got a guitar. Long story short I worked my way up to playing with some guys from work which was soon washed away from real life changes. Now I'm older and have been watching this Leo Moracchioli guy. I finally one day just said to myself to go big. No more pawn shop stuff and that this home studio music production is what I've been needing all my life. I spent about a month researching gear and have everything the top players are using. I just need a camera but that can wait. After setting up everything (even gutted out my closet and turned it into a vocal booth lol.) I was soon hit with reality. There is so much to learn vs my excitement to make something cool right now. Secondly I find I have great days and horrible days as your everyday life effects your music. Right now I'm stuck because I need to master my DAW and about 4 other software packs. On top of that being a composer , a producer, your own lawyer ect. And then the social media thing is a separate beast as well. I guess I just need to work at one thing at a time and work my way up. It is a fantastic journey and being able to produce something that makes my friend say WOW! would be a lifetime accomplishment.
Very good tips. But for me it's much harder. i'm 43 years old, i work a factory job, i make about 5-7 tons of butter per day. My days are 10-13 hours long and very physical, i work more than 40hs a week, i start at 4:30 am. So when i get home, all i want to do is take a shower, eat and go to bed. I usualy go to bed around 7:30 pm cause i get up around 3am. Finding the time and the energy is really hard when you are older.
Im 38 and just finished a job exactly the same as your current job, same early starts had to get up at 3.30am 5 mile bike ride worked from 4.45am to 2.45pm 4 to 5 days a week, same tired went to bed soon as got home. I got made redundant job replaced by a Robot so now its all music until I run out of money basically its now or never. Also when I get a new job it needs to be music related in some way, a record store, a recording studio, nusic gear store or something. Im going to make an effort to not do a Wearhouse job again, and no job will make Me quit music again, they can shove it. Look for a music related job ASAP, I know its hard to leave the safety of a stable job no matter how rubbish but nobody ever got anywhere in life without a stuggle most of the time. Finally in order to do any path in life You have to visualise this as a your future reality for it to start happening.
I'm pretty much barely starting out my musician career after a failed album back in '21😂. I definitely owe a bit of my knowledge to you and your vids! Love your personal brand and video style. Knowledge is power, so thanks for the free education.

Hey there, congratulations on your success, really amazing! I stumbled upon your UA-cam video, and I'm so glad I did. I'm at the very beginning of my music-making journey, and I have to admit, I'm feeling a bit lost and confused. I'm not sure where to start or what steps to take. Awesome video! I like your real talk about the buisness and the passion with music. 🤙 I Just finished my Audio Engineering college and last year I started my composing & producing business next to my 9to5 Job. Right now it'S pretty hard to build proper connections to people who are really music or film relevant (i also make filmscores).. How do you grow your Work circle and build connections to others in this branche? Wish you the best 😄
I’ve honestly been rather confused on how to build a social media following. I’ve noticed a lot of production UA-camrs talking about posting consistently which they’re able to do because they teach production. They always have something to post whether it’s a clip of a new tutorial or just a quick tip, I’m confused how to do that when my main, and basically only product is my music. I can’t just put clips of every little thing I make cuz then I’m spoiling my music, nor am I able to even make music quick enough for that. Any advice?
Hello let Me help you, first of all I dont have a huge following however I know why and better late then never, am fixing this. You make content and videos based around your music and anything connected is potential content, here are some video ideas for You, concentrate on Making short 1 minute vertical videos, post on all social media. 1 My new musis Studio desk, talk about your music desk, why you have it, where you got it, 2 Talk about your favourite DAW, or plugins, demonstrate how You use them and why. 3 Reaction based content, find a trending topic video on a popular music artist who sounds like your music and record yourself reacting to there content. 4 Day in the life of a music producer, record a day where you do music, talk like vlog. 4 Copy other UA-camrs who are more popular like PLV but put your own personality and perspective on it. There You go that should work.
Really helpfull video, it gave me inspiration to keep going no matter what!1!1😊 I acidentally deleted my channel and I started to panic, also I'm familiar with everything exept marketing and promoting, I've mastered everything else :) My hobby for now will actually kind of make sense because I'll work as mixer and that kind of stuff, also I personaly wouldn't recommed signing in for the big labels, Start small, but shoot for the stars

Do you have a music production course / community that goes through the fundamentals of music production ? If not, do you have a recommendation ?
I’m not even kidding , this is the only video that sounds like someone trying to help out rather than sell a sponsor or fuckin sample pack 😭🙏
That means a lot 🥹 ❤️

I acidentally deleted my channel and I started to panic, also I'm familiar with everything exept marketing and promoting, I've mastered everything else :)
My hobby for now will actually kind of make sense because I'll work as mixer and that kind of stuff, also I personaly wouldn't recommed signing in for the big labels,
Start small, but shoot for the stars
OMG I would have freaked out 😂
