I actually destroyed a heist safe using Colt’s gadget to blast straight through somebody body-blocking to prevent damage. I thought that was a pretty cool yet busted trick.
@@themidnightotaku22I don’t think it’s that bad. Colts gadget is hardly ever useful on raw offence and not utility unless you get a really specific situation (this happened to me once, a single bullet wouldn’t kill and I knew I might miss). This is because of how low it’s damage is.
In concept heist is a top tier game mode, the problem is there's like 20 brawlers that shred the safe in seconds so it's always mostly a base race, if and hopefully when they buff the safe in some way it'll be better that most game modes
Well if they buff the safe it will be harder for low dps dealers to destroy it and the high dps brawlers will only have to wait a few more seconds to break the safe so it wont really cause any difference

i think a good way to buff heist is that now the heist safe has a safety measurement where if it's suffering 4.5k dps or more, an alarm will shout and the heist will get a 25% shield for 9 seconds, and also increase the hp to 100k hp instead of 80k, finally, i would probably make it so that any brawler that uses their super onto the heist safe deals 25% less damage so that some brawlers that are reliant onto their supers less broken
i think heist should have moments where the safe is either protected/immune to damage. like the bot in the takedown. either this or it should have a short period where unbreakable walls pop up in a small area around the safe. this way youll be more inclined to pick a thrower who can chip away a little bit instead of base racing half the time

heres my ideas: 100k health is basically a must, theres no reason not to do so defeating enemies could heal the safe, which would make suicide bombers like chuck and melodie a bit less effective, and mid control would be more important the safe could have 2 stages, both with 50k health, and once the first stage is defeated, the second stage could respawn in like 5 seconds. this would allow hypercharges to expire so that the second stage isnt instantly destroyed, and it would allow a bit of extra time to defeat melodies the safe could be "entered" by you or a teammate with a mechanism similar to a teleporter, making the person who entered be similar to the boss in the old Big Game gamemode (but weaker), and the gadget could be replaced to be a button to dismount (like bonnie's super)
melodie’s ability to get notes from non brawlers could also be removed, but that would have to come at a damage/reload speed buff so that she isnt completely useless against ruff shields/nita bears, and it would probably make her less fun to play
Tbh the best rework for heist for me would be: +25% More Health to the safe Safe won't remain still, there will be a carriage or a wagon that will be moving it from right to left, the longer the match lasts, the faster it will move. If a brawlers interferes the Wagon, it will recieve damage as if it was that Gem mine train or whatever from that one gem grab map. Also something that might be kinda op but would be cool to make pressure is that Belle's Mark affects the Safe. And since Chuck and Melodie and Maybe Crow and Colette would be extremely nerfed from heist, it would more brawlers reliable for it.
that wagon idea seems quite interesting, but i think the marks effect the safe would not be a great idea, like you said it would def be too op and she would be picked/banned every game

But yes Wagon would be extremely good for Heist, it would make Chuck almost useless in Heist and Melody would have a hard time hitting her notes. The Heist would be Moving from Right to left every time it hits a corner. Something that Would be kinda complex is that Every 30 seconds of the game, heist would remain still for the next 10 secs. And would continue its track again and again. Idk maybe kinda smoky ideas, but I guess it would be the perfect balance to it.
i am fond of the idea of belle's mark affecting the heist safe, but imo, it should have a penalty where if it's on the safe, instead of taking 35% more damage, it will instead take 15% more dmg
heist could take the ideas from two games: warframe and terraria´s calamity mod warframe has those enemies called sentients,whose main way of survival is with adaptive armor granting them damage reduction when hit too hard by some kind of damage (or brawler archetype in this case) in too little time.this would encourage people to use different brawler archetypes to help a more diverse meta and in calamity mod,some bosses just have a fixed damage reduction against certain weaponry, like 50% dr against piercing shots on worm bosses,or 40%dr against a homing energy ball targeted towards a small but elusive boss,meaning heist matches won´t just have crows,colettes and chucks every single time
Imo heist has never been a good game mode. I've always hated how some games will be decided with a full ape mode base race. I would love to see it removed from competitive play
heres how i would fix heist: -increase heist safe hp from 80k to 100k. this would make it tankier ofc but would also make 1% of the heist safe hp equal to 1000 health. so if theres 34k hp left the heist safe would be at 34%. this is to give players a better idea of how much hp the heist safe has left. -make it so spawnables are unable to attack the safe. this includes nita's bear, jessies turret, charlie and Tara's gadget, etc. Nita and jessie would need buffs to help them bounce back from being one of the best heist brawlers to being terrible in heist, but they'll be fine as the buffs will make them better in every other game mode - have there be a 5 tile radius around the heist safe in which chuck is unable to place his posts. this would hurt him tremendously as heist is his main game mode, but chuck being broken in heist and mid everywhere else isnt balanced and toxic. he would need major buffs to still be a good brawler despite him losing his ability to run through the heist safe. - this is optional but make it so all supers have a 25% damage penalty when used on the heist safe so clancy, crow, and, colette cant just obliterate the safe would love to hear thoughts about these suggestions.

Launch a shit ton of projectiles but most likely will not hit every single one on a moving object, although if they were to hit everything they would be completely busted and could deal straight up goofy burst damage (Rico&Colt’s dumbass main attacks, Clancy’s super, ran out of examples) and for that reason are good in heist or 2. Attacks that spawn new sources of infinite or high damage but are limited and work best on an immovable object (Jessie&Nita’s spawnables, Melodie’s donkey notes). As for Colette, she got her stupid little hypercharge that has no purpose to exist whatsoever outside of fucking up heist, resulting in damage inflation and Chuck also had no real reason to be created (bros mom should have swallowed) outside of dominating shithole we call heist
heck no, all brawl stars gamemodes are meant to be simple and easy to understand; that many exceptions and stuff would be confusing for both newbies and actual players, and all that's going to do is shift the meta to make colt, bull, nani, and other brawlers with high normal attack dmg op and to make jessie and nita not playable. New brawlers added with new abilities would also need exceptions, which would just lead to more confusion, more bugs, and more unfunness
Here's my idea: The Safe will take Reduced or Increased damage against certain brawlers. If they deal too much damage to safe, their damage (onto the Safe) will be reduced, or if they're like a Poco, their damage will be increased. Plus, Artificial means of damage, like Gadgets and Star Powers will ALL have nerfed damage. Damage bonuses by Gears and Hypercharges will be nullified (Also if the Hypercharge Super has something that increases the Damage, it will be nerfed).
if reduced/increased damage is specific for each brawler, then thats gonna require you to memorize up to 84 specific values, and that's just gonna make stuff like crows without hypercharges deal 0 damage. I do think that a shield based on maybe the damage that the brawler has dealt in the current game or the damage that the safe has recently received might work though
I really like these videos! I'm gonna be honest, when the switch from ai to real voice happened it kinda turned me off because of the audio quality and the way it was articulated. But now both are much better and I'll happily watch these again lol!
Heist wasn't that balanced back then either, but less good options Back then Spike, Penny, Jessie, Nita and a few others were good Brawlers for that mode, and still today (Penny not that much)
Penny is probably A tier in heist now, Jessie still good but slowly outclassed by new brawlers. Nita is one of the best pick in hot potato today. The thing is heist will always going to have a limiting meta because some of the brawlers are just bad at dealing consistent damage.
Berry is insanely broken in heist too, once you get on the safe and spam out attacks it's over, too much healing, too much damage, free Hypercharges just by healing.
i think that the safe should take reduced damage either the longer it takes damage (like stacks that reduce dmg for every time it is hit), or a small shield every time it doesnt take damage for a certain amount of time, not too much but enough to keep pressure on the safe
I KNOW HOW TO FIX HEIST! HEAR ME OUT! • Remember the gamemode where you would compete against 9 other players to destroy the boss robot? • When he took too much damage in a short period of time, he would get a immunity shield for like 15 seconds to avoid being destroyed too fast. • They can just add this mechanic to the safe and boost it's HP by like 40K
It has everything to be good but it doesn't feel fair. You control the whole game just for some stupid new hypercharge get a teamwipe and then watch your safe get destroyed. It is right to have a way to turn the game around but it shouldn't be possible to end the game in one push without a cheesy comp or skill
Im wondering if increasing the health and adding a retalitory damage to the safe could make it a more passive mode where you cannot just go to it with a melody or put a turret and have nothing to take it out
I 100% agree here as someone who spent a lit of time in tbis mode cuz i main Colette (shameless, yes, i know). It's so odd consideribg back in the old days in Esports if the safe was broken or at low hp that's was a sign of a fumble.
Heist rework idea: replace the heist with a low damaging ike turret with the same health as heist but the lower the safe health is the higher the damage is(giving heist a shield at lower health is pointless so damage it is) we dont really need to change the maps becauae theres no bolts or totems to collect for big bots or angels so long range brawlers aint gonna be broken so everone gets equal chance
Ways to fix heist 1. Make the safe 100k, this would make the game last longer so maybe increase the time. This works because while making the safe tanky it makes it so fast dps aren’t the only usable brawlers. 2. Make the map wider. This makes it so that it’s not so hard for non mobile brawlers (like throwers) to get to the heist. 3. Have a 20% Damage reduction to supers to the heist (including while hypercharged) 4. Have it so Melody doesn’t gain notes from hitting the safe. Chuck suffers from the 20% reduction so he’s fine. Jessie’s turret doesn’t target to safe when it has Recoil Spring active. All brawlers that are good because they do massive damage with hypercharge and super are fine because of changes above
The heist safe should act similar to the boxes in showdown where their health is proportionate to the power levels of the brawlers in the match. Some sort of ratio where a 3v3 of level 11 brawlers would be like 100k and it decreases slightly from there as brawlers get weaker.
My idea for heist fix: .100k hp; .after losing 25%hp , 25% shield for the rest of the game; .after losing 50%hp, it deals 33% of the damage it receives back in a damage area , just like Jacky first star power; .After losing 75%hp:SCREW IT! Now it has its own hipercharge , turning into an IKEE tower , but with 25% less damage than a normal IKEE tower; .Killing enemies will make them drop screws to help heal the safe in 20% each but you need to get close to the safe to give the screws(Idea I took from another comment with a little rework); .Optional change: Each fase the safe hits , it explodes into the next fase , dealing all the damage it was dealt in the last 2 seconds and pushing back any enemies around it , nothing happens if gets healed into the previous fase tho.
I think the heist safe should only be broken by a thermal drill which you have to repair every few seconds, all while a guys screams in your ear about said thermal drill being broken.
I think the problem is the open maps which allow the hypers to shine and makes everything easy to hit, i think if they added more closed maps the hypers wouldnt be as effective.
Heist in ranked is really fun because the map rotation is only good maps that force conflict. How good heist is is completely based on how well the maps are designed and how they force conflict in order to reach the enemy safe
I kind of disagree, one teamwipe or big misplay and enemies gain control and can end safe quickly, it should either take less damage or have more health (same thing), it should not take that much damage when attacked
I think a change that could be implemented is some sort of damage reduction on the safe together with a HP buff My idea comes from another game, but seeing the brawlers that affect the most, the reduced damage I suggest, rather than being a pure percentage, also include a "fixed" amount Why you may ask??? Just look at Crow's, Melodie's or Jessie's cases, most of their damage comes from those "little" instances of damage but being way too much and consecutive, and most of the broken Heist brawlers have that. I would make that damage reduction be increased more damage it receives in a short time, and get reset after some second, so it could encourage again gaining control of the map, rewarding more chipping damage, and stop the cheese of "who can destroy the safe in 15 seconds" I have the concept, but it will need a lot of testing to have accurate numbers, so it's not directly impossible to destroy the safe
In my opinion (I haven't watched the video yet) Heist sucks not necessarily because its a bad game mode, but mainly because of the brawlers that are good at this mode being almost essental to winning. If you don't have at least one good dps brawler, you're basically done for.
I just think they should just give a really really big HP buff to the safe so it doesn't kill brawlers that heavily or benefit fron the mode a lot :/ (IDK)
I kinda love heist but hate the current meta. Tbf, there was always a time it was absolutely frustrating to play. Pit Stop, Than one map that looks like Double Swoosh where base race and Rico were thing... So many maps suck in one way or another. Currently this one and Hot Zone are my favorites, but yeah, playing them is pain.
I dread pushing trophies on heist. It's literally a 50/50 coinflip of who wins since everyone is so powerful and there's always a few brawlers that are better than everyone else depending on the map. Pushing Jessie on kaboom canyon... guess what, enemy has Angelo or Carl, or Chuck so I'm at an instant disadvantage because I don't have these brawlers maxed out but at the same time where else could I play Jessie where she's as viable as she is on heist. So there's an extremely narrow S tier heist meta but that same meta has a secret S+++ tier that demolishes every solo queue player that isn't abusing it. I am kinda rambling but I hope you get what I mean. It doesn't help that my teammates are really fucking stupid too. also i havent watched the video yet so i might be repeating your points which would only go to show how big the issue is
Really only specfic brawlers work but if you have someone like kit (juan carlos flashbacks) then its not necessary their niche. So heist should just be a dumped gamemode because im really starting to hate this gamemode and how when a certain brawler dominates the mode, they dominate for sure. Not really the funnest gamemode either its just boring and frustrating to tick at the health and eventually taking it down but thats literally it. Defending the safe is so trash your just going to lose everytime so your forced to play offensively, thats the whole gamemode. Id even say bounty is somewhat funner compared to heist mostly because well sure it depends on the map and brawler (kit probably would not also work here) but its more viable for consistent winning. So i think it should be replaced by another mode, removed entirely (maybe come back occasionally) and lastly, removed from ranked, mostly cuz if their sticking with the whole modifiers aspect then i want heist to be removed asap. I would lastly like to say they gotta come up with more modes for us to play and see what we would like to have as a new permanent gamemode, just look at knockout or duels and see how they came to the game so they just gotta get creative and think of better modes. Dont. Even. Get. Me. Started. On. Gem. Grab. (At least kit is viable in gem grab lol)

I dont think that would work. The reason heist sucks is because everyone just plays as a high dps brawler racing to the other teams safe. That would just encourage this play style more because if the heist has alot of health youll need alot of damage.

Plus, Artificial means of damage, like Gadgets and Star Powers will ALL have nerfed damage.
Damage bonuses by Gears and Hypercharges will be nullified (Also if the Hypercharge Super has something that increases the Damage, it will be nerfed).
if reduced/increased damage is specific for each brawler, then thats gonna require you to memorize up to 84 specific values, and that's just gonna make stuff like crows without hypercharges deal 0 damage. I do think that a shield based on maybe the damage that the brawler has dealt in the current game or the damage that the safe has recently received might work though

I really like these videos! I'm gonna be honest, when the switch from ai to real voice happened it kinda turned me off because of the audio quality and the way it was articulated. But now both are much better and I'll happily watch these again lol!

heist is unfixable and should just be removed entirely, including from the game's code itself so it can't even be brought back as an event mode
Heist wasn't that balanced back then either, but less good options
Back then Spike, Penny, Jessie, Nita and a few others were good Brawlers for that mode, and still today (Penny not that much)
Penny is probably A tier in heist now, Jessie still good but slowly outclassed by new brawlers. Nita is one of the best pick in hot potato today. The thing is heist will always going to have a limiting meta because some of the brawlers are just bad at dealing consistent damage.

Berry is insanely broken in heist too, once you get on the safe and spam out attacks it's over, too much healing, too much damage, free Hypercharges just by healing.

i think that the safe should take reduced damage either the longer it takes damage (like stacks that reduce dmg for every time it is hit), or a small shield every time it doesnt take damage for a certain amount of time, not too much but enough to keep pressure on the safe

It has everything to be good but it doesn't feel fair. You control the whole game just for some stupid new hypercharge get a teamwipe and then watch your safe get destroyed. It is right to have a way to turn the game around but it shouldn't be possible to end the game in one push without a cheesy comp or skill

Heist rework idea: replace the heist with a low damaging ike turret with the same health as heist but the lower the safe health is the higher the damage is(giving heist a shield at lower health is pointless so damage it is) we dont really need to change the maps becauae theres no bolts or totems to collect for big bots or angels so long range brawlers aint gonna be broken so everone gets equal chance
Ways to fix heist
1. Make the safe 100k, this would make the game last longer so maybe increase the time. This works because while making the safe tanky it makes it so fast dps aren’t the only usable brawlers.
2. Make the map wider. This makes it so that it’s not so hard for non mobile brawlers (like throwers) to get to the heist.
3. Have a 20% Damage reduction to supers to the heist (including while hypercharged)
4.
Have it so Melody doesn’t gain notes from hitting the safe.
Chuck suffers from the 20% reduction so he’s fine.
Jessie’s turret doesn’t target to safe when it has Recoil Spring active.
All brawlers that are good because they do massive damage with hypercharge and super are fine because of changes above
The heist safe should act similar to the boxes in showdown where their health is proportionate to the power levels of the brawlers in the match.
Some sort of ratio where a 3v3 of level 11 brawlers would be like 100k and it decreases slightly from there as brawlers get weaker.

Ngl Heist is so unskilled, there are like only 10-15 brawlers that everyone uses which works on every heist map.

My idea for heist fix:
.100k hp;
.after losing 25%hp , 25% shield for the rest of the game;
.after losing 50%hp, it deals 33% of the damage it receives back in a damage area , just like Jacky first star power;
.After losing 75%hp:SCREW IT!
Now it has its own hipercharge , turning into an IKEE tower , but with 25% less damage than a normal IKEE tower;
.Killing enemies will make them drop screws to help heal the safe in 20% each but you need to get close to the safe to give the screws(Idea I took from another comment with a little rework);
.Optional change: Each fase the safe hits , it explodes into the next fase , dealing all the damage it was dealt in the last 2 seconds and pushing back any enemies around it , nothing happens if gets healed into the previous fase tho.
I think the heist safe should only be broken by a thermal drill which you have to repair every few seconds, all while a guys screams in your ear about said thermal drill being broken.

I think the problem is the open maps which allow the hypers to shine and makes everything easy to hit, i think if they added more closed maps the hypers wouldnt be as effective.

Heist in ranked is really fun because the map rotation is only good maps that force conflict. How good heist is is completely based on how well the maps are designed and how they force conflict in order to reach the enemy safe

I kind of disagree, one teamwipe or big misplay and enemies gain control and can end safe quickly, it should either take less damage or have more health (same thing), it should not take that much damage when attacked

I think a change that could be implemented is some sort of damage reduction on the safe together with a HP buff
My idea comes from another game, but seeing the brawlers that affect the most, the reduced damage I suggest, rather than being a pure percentage, also include a "fixed" amount
Why you may ask??? Just look at Crow's, Melodie's or Jessie's cases, most of their damage comes from those "little" instances of damage but being way too much and consecutive, and most of the broken Heist brawlers have that.
I would make that damage reduction be increased more damage it receives in a short time, and get reset after some second, so it could encourage again gaining control of the map, rewarding more chipping damage, and stop the cheese of "who can destroy the safe in 15 seconds"
I have the concept, but it will need a lot of testing to have accurate numbers, so it's not directly impossible to destroy the safe

Out of all regular 3v3 modes, Heist is by far my least favorite one. Hopefully this gamemode gets reworked or deleted in the future.

Heist sucks not necessarily because its a bad game mode, but mainly because of the brawlers that are good at this mode being almost essental to winning. If you don't have at least one good dps brawler, you're basically done for.

The heist safe scales with your power level so if you have power 1s it’s a very weak safe
The only brawlers I ever see in heist are Jessie, Colette, Chuck, Colt, Grom and Clancy

I dread pushing trophies on heist. It's literally a 50/50 coinflip of who wins since everyone is so powerful and there's always a few brawlers that are better than everyone else depending on the map. Pushing Jessie on kaboom canyon... guess what, enemy has Angelo or Carl, or Chuck so I'm at an instant disadvantage because I don't have these brawlers maxed out but at the same time where else could I play Jessie where she's as viable as she is on heist. So there's an extremely narrow S tier heist meta but that same meta has a secret S+++ tier that demolishes every solo queue player that isn't abusing it.
I am kinda rambling but I hope you get what I mean. It doesn't help that my teammates are really fucking stupid too. also i havent watched the video yet so i might be repeating your points which would only go to show how big the issue is

Really only specfic brawlers work but if you have someone like kit (juan carlos flashbacks) then its not necessary their niche.
So heist should just be a dumped gamemode because im really starting to hate this gamemode and how when a certain brawler dominates the mode, they dominate for sure.
Not really the funnest gamemode either its just boring and frustrating to tick at the health and eventually taking it down but thats literally it. Defending the safe is so trash your just going to lose everytime so your forced to play offensively, thats the whole gamemode.
Id even say bounty is somewhat funner compared to heist mostly because well sure it depends on the map and brawler (kit probably would not also work here) but its more viable for consistent winning.
So i think it should be replaced by another mode, removed entirely (maybe come back occasionally) and lastly, removed from ranked, mostly cuz if their sticking with the whole modifiers aspect then i want heist to be removed asap.
I would lastly like to say they gotta come up with more modes for us to play and see what we would like to have as a new permanent gamemode, just look at knockout or duels and see how they came to the game so they just gotta get creative and think of better modes. Dont. Even. Get. Me. Started. On. Gem. Grab.

I dont think that would work. The reason heist sucks is because everyone just plays as a high dps brawler racing to the other teams safe. That would just encourage this play style more because if the heist has alot of health youll need alot of damage.
