Tell me where you see that we should watch for him in the clouds? I see that it will happen in a spit second, it won’t be something observable. Unless, you believe that the ‘funny’ word play that there are two more comings and judgements. This is all still dispensationalism. I’m burn out on dispensationalism. We should be doing our masters work just the same if he maybe coming tomorrow or another 1000 years. I’m tired of hearing this invented teaching. Disp is like, first go to Daniel then go to mat 24 then go to Thessalonians then go back to Isiah then to revelation and back and forth until a man made doctrine is made. Perfectly explained here. This man and others believe they are prophesying from the Bible, but their interpretation is very vague and preaching the secret rapture (you think that’s what ‘Paul has in view’) and attack on Jews is false teaching.

( 2 Corinth 13.5).. its metaphor and allegory ( gal 4.24).. religious teachings are telling you to look outside but it says the kingdom is within you ( Luke 17.21).. they think a Christian means to follow some man in the past but a Christian is one who knows who the saviour is!! The I AM within themselves ( exodus 3.14).. their awareness of being is I AM! That’s what Jesus represents in scripture! Your I AM in you speaking to you! That’s why the words are so powerful! It’s your inner being! The revelation ( revealing) of Jesus Christ.. which is in you and you have not known it!

Thank you for sharing the scriptures, sincerely. I’m familiar with them too. I know, and now I know you know, so we have that going for us! Im also familiar with the concepts of metaphors and allegory. So there’s that too. I don’t believe the dispensationalist honestly portrays them in their teaching. The severe problems with this teaching is not going away soon it seems. It is a deception that is being addressed.
Twisting scriptures is bringing half truth and yet sticking in half lies, which the half lies leavens the whole lump.

there are a couple of things which i believe relate to the timing of the rapture: 1- it will get much worse before we are rescued at the last minute; this has been the history of the bible. 2- apophis (wormwood) will strike the earth in 2029 which will be sometime in the tribulation, so we should be gone before that.

We are told in several places, including 1Thess 3:13 that at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, He returns WITH His saints. At the rapture He comes FOR the saints TO THE AIR where we meet Him in the CLOUDS along with those Christians who have already died, but at the second coming where He returns to the EARTH and His foot touches the mount if Olives, He returns WITH the saints.

Don’t we read Scripture? Revelation 14:14-16 should be enough to know the rapture will happen after the tribulation of those days as Jesus said also in Matthew 24:29-31, plus what Paul has said that the Son of perdition has to be revealed before we have any sign of the rapture that is about to come.

I agree, I have noticed this myself. Not only do they err in not believing in the rapture of Christ coming FOR His saints IN THE AIR and returning at His second coming to the earth WITH His saints 1 Thess 3:13, but they argue with such hostility toward both the truth and their brothers and sisters in Christ. Not at all Christ-like or like people who have the Holy Spirit. We are supposed to be known by our fruits and this kind of aggression is NOT the fruit of His Spirit.

Personally I believe there is only one rapture and it is the one that Jesus takes up His bride to be at the wedding supper feast in Heaven. When God is done with the seven years of tribulation taking place on earth, Jesus and His bride comes down to earth to fulfill the rest of what He speaks of in the Bible.
The ones left behind will not be caught up as in a rapture because when God comes to earth with His bride and sets the thousand year millennial on earth for their being a thousand years of peace, it will be Jesus and His bride whom rules in the millennial time. The rapture is only for those whom are His bride, even though at the end of time many will be saved and dwell with Christ, His bride and the rest whom went through the tribulation and millenal years.
Yea, I know, it is deep and I hope this makes sense yet foremost may Christ bring the needed comfort as He only can and surely He will according to His will and timing.
Once that is done, satan is let lose and the final battle takes place where Jesus puts the devil in his place and destroys him in the lake of fire. Then comes the day God judges all unbelievers. When it is all said and done, the new Heaven and new earth will be the eternal Home for all His children whom had faith in Jesus and His finished work done for His children by His grace for believers.
The ones in the tribulation that are yet still His but chose the self-righteous road will come to realize their mistake of thinking that self would be able to earn salvation and when they realize they were christians yet left behind, they surely will know what they must do and it will be being martyred but evenso being martyred surely does not save them during the tribulation period because it is still the same gospel that saves and it is by the grace alone of Jesus Christ that salvation is given and before being martyred, they will finally believe His saving grace gospel was and is the only truth.
Anyhow, it is the two cents I have to offer but take it to Jesus for His revelation and foremost His comfort comforting the heart and mind that it would be at rest in Him and all glory being His alone.

That’s me. Burned out on all the prophecy updates, prophecy conferences, watching for the rapture, etc. There are certain actual reputable pastors on YT whom I won’t mention that have Chicken Little titles in their videos and yet, nothing catastrophic has happened. I followed a lot of these date-setters and thankfully finally quit following them over a year ago.
I’m glad to have gotten away from all of this but now I’m at a point where I believe we could be here many more years and that there may not be a pretrib rapture. This is a frightening thought.

I have a question about the Dead Sea Scrolls. I have watched a few videos by some theologians who believe the DSS point to a 6,000 calendar. These particular theologians believe the calendar ends in 2075. If this is the case, the tribulation would begin in 2068. The DDS along with the church fathers describe a 6,000 year calendar followed by another 1,000 millennium rule of Christ. As you mentioned the rapture could occur at anytime. What are your thoughts on the Dead Sea Scrolls and God’s 6,000 year calendar followed by the millennium period of 1,000 years. Thanks Kyle
The Last Days scoffers identify with unbelieving Jews mocking the coming of the Messiah (Second Coming). The phrase since the fathers fell asleep identify with the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

When Jesus said he’ll come quickly I think he meant in just 2 days from his resurrection to the 2nd coming. If you asked anyone how long has it been since Jesus ascended to heaven they always say 2000 years. No one ever says it’s been 2 days. Peter warned us not to be ignorant that a day to the Lord is a 1000 years and a 1000 years is a day. Looks like all generations forgot about not being ignorant. The disciples thought quickly was a couple days unit a couple days turned into a couple months then a couple years and eventually several decades to centuries. If they hadn’t been ignorant about it saints 2000 years ago should have realized through scripture that 2 days meant 2000 years. Today, most Christians are also ignorant because we should be seeing 2000 years as only 2 days. If we all understood this idea all confusion should be cleared up. The good news is. I believe scripture teaches a 7000 year of human history. In short from Adam to Abraham 2000 years from Abraham to Jesus another 2000 and from Jesus to today 2000 years. This is 6000 years or 6 days. Either way I believe we have reached the final stage of the age of Grace. We’re about to enter the last day of human history or better known as the 1000 year reign of Christ.

Salvation is a free gift that can only be received by faith. But that is only true during this Dispensation of Grace. I've been hearing and seeing videos about all these date settings and Jewish appointed times and how it all relates to a possible rapture. I stopped looking for any of those teachings now especially when I read the comments on date setters on the times that come to pass. Those commenters were angry that it didn't happen, but did they lose hope? I'm not sure. If you're that reader, just know that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind and that Jesus is our blessed hope, because a rapture can't happen without Him.
Before Jesus resurrected Lazarus, Martha said "I know he will be raised at the resurrection on the last day", Jesus said "I am the resurrection". Clearly, Martha knew the scriptures because she was talking about the same resurrection prophesied by the Old Testament Prophets. Lazarus being raised from the dead by Jesus was not the resurrection spoken of by the Prophets, it was Jesus showing the Glory of God to the people standing around.
According to Paul, we who are alive can not be caught up until the dead in Christ rise first. The dead in Christ can not rise until the Lord Himself descends from Heaven with a shout. What else is Jesus destined to do upon His return? to destroy the antichrist with the breath of His mouth and by the brightness of His coming. So, even before the resurrection takes place, the antichrist is destined to rule the earth for 42 months according to Daniel and Revelation first. If Jesus came before the antichrist, that would make 2 second comings.
Some will read the above and say "that means we will know the day and the hour but we're not supposed to know". We will not know the day and hour, but we will know the seasons, this is why Paul said "but you are not in darkness so as the day of the Lord should not surprise you like a thief". This is also why Jesus said "when you see all these things" not "you won't be here for it". He also says "when you see the abomination that causes desolation". Jesus told a favorable church "do not be afraid for what you're about to suffer" then He says "the devil will put some of you in prison to test you and you will suffer persecution for 10 days, be faithful, unto death".
Paul warned us in 2 Timothy that some have departed from the faith because they thought the resurrection already had taken place and their faith suffered shipwreck due to false doctrines. My brothers and sisters, read Revelation and find where it says "this is the first resurrection", because as Paul confirmed, the rapture can't happen until the resurrection comes first.

Ok you must have used the word pregnant as a joke because we are in a Jewish leap year known as a pregnant year. It also coincides with a Christian leap year and this will not happen again until 2052. You must also be familiar with the two loaf wave offering with leaven. If the first coming lined up with the Jewish spring feast then it is safe to speculate that the rapture and second will coming will line up with the summer/fall feast.

There is no Harold Van Campen. There IS a Harold Camping, but he didn't write the book "88 Reasons Why The Rapture Will Be In 1988". That book was written by Edgar C. Whisenant. Harold Camping was famous for another failed rapture prediction in 2011. But none of this is new. In the early 19th century, there was a Baptist lay preacher by the name of William Miller who predicted that the second coming would be in 1843-44. So why have all these people got it wrong? Put it simply, their calculations are based on incorrect theories and/or incorrect data. Whisenant believed that the fig tree generation that began when the modern state of Israel was founded in 1948, would last 40 years, and hence he got the year 1988. The Bible however gives a different number of years for a generation - according to Psalm 90:10, the years of a man are three score and ten, or fourscore by reason of strength.

10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
So there you have it. When will we fly away? This is where it gets interesting. You can't nail it down to a specific day, but rather we have a rather wide window of a decade which begins on May 14, 2018 and ends on May 14, 2028. And this explains why so many on UA-cam are taking a stab at guessing the date in the year 2024. We only have less than 4 years before this window expires.
Interestingly, there is also some ambiguity about that OTHER theory which states that the second coming will occur 2000 years after Jesus departed. Since we don't know exactly that year that was, some are speculating we are in a similar 3-4 year window depending on whether Jesus left the earth in 2028, or perhaps as late as 2032, which in turn depends on the vagaries of the dating system we use, which in theory tells us that Jesus was born in AD 1, but in practice, the estimate of His birth varies from 6BC to 2 BC, with most estimating around 4 BC. So then you add 33 years, subtract the year zero which doesn't exist, and you get AD 30. Subtract 7 years from that and you get 2023. So obviously that theory doesn't fly in 2024. Give it a year or two though, and something may happen - or maybe it will happen today if you believe the imminency crowd. I'm not in that camp, but it could certainly happen on a moedim (appointed time) this year. Shavuot is approaching, then later in the year we have Rosh Hashanah.
If we are still here after that, well the datesetters will reset the dial and start again, as has happened over the last few years, increasingly so since the Revelation 12 sign appeared in the heavens on September 23, 2017. Oh, and that's another theory that will be tested this year as we are in the 7-year anniversary of that event, and so perhaps September 23, or the Hebrew calendar anniversary, Tishrei 1 (aka the aforementioned Rosh Hashanah), which will be October 3 this year. So... lots of food for thought - and lots of cannon fodder for the trolls who will no doubt attack this comment with vigour. I'm not concerned. We are in the last days - we just don't know how many of those last days remain before we are lifted off the earth to meet the Lord in the air.

I do not know when the day of the rapture and His return will be either. If I did, then that would mean that the father God told me. What He DID give us was a roadmap of sorts - the Bible. There, we CAN know the time and season. 😎 Knowing the time and season, through the signs He gave, we can thus know when His coming will NOT be!
Example: If I say I'm coming over to visit you tomorrow, you do not know what time that will be. To narrow it down or what time, you ask me, "What time?" I answer something like, "Late afternoon, when you hear me honk my horn, you'll know." What I replied was still not clear to you. The Bible is similar. It DOES give us signs to look for regarding WHEN! This is why we can say it is getting close! Once we understand what time and season the rapture and His coming WILL be, we can determine when He's NOT coming! This is why I can say that the rapture will NOT happen literally at any moment, nor will it happen any time today or tomorrow, or this month, or even this year.
Based upon what I understand in the Bible and compare it with the world around us, (to pay attention to what's going around us, as you mentioned🙂), I believe it IS "soon" though! Just a few years ahead. Perhaps not as soon as we want it to be, but it IS soon.
Just a thought to consider... To say Jesus CAN return "at any moment," is sort of like date setting! 🤔
Let me add that one shouldn't just prepare for a known visit (like we do when a friend or family comes over on a holiday, doing extra cleaning and such). We should be prepared, be watchful, be ready and be a good person ALWAYS!

I have no problem with suggesting dates especially if you have a ton of scripture backing it up, but in the same breath you have to also acknowledge only God the Father knows the real date. When Jonah warned Nineveh their doom was imminent, they repented and God chose to delay their destruction for another 150 years! I can count the 70 weeks of Daniel three ways and get three different dates that all line up with other calculations, but none of it is a snapshot of the future. Still, the process of counting revealed a lot to me about God and how he fulfills promises. There are plenty of verses about counting and the existence of the schedules and order of events prophesied encourages us to go ahead and count and see all the things God has been doing all along. Observing prophesy unfolding will only convince you that God has a plan and it is good.

The word "rapture" isn't even in the bible, it takes people's minds off of the more appropriate word "Gathering" - "THE RESURRECTION" & "GATHERING UNTO CHRIST!" This is the term that the earliest Christians used when speaking of this spectacular event, they didn't use a word that's not even in the bible. St Jerome translated "caught up" into "raptio" and it's now evolved into its English version being "rapture" which is used to describe the greater meaning of that word that was used for centuries: "the gathering unto Christ." The word "rapture" disassociates from the correct word GATHERING and makes it look like two separate events 3 1/2 or 7 years apart so I'm sure that Satan had his hand in the choosing of this more nebulous and modern word that the church has now embraced. Matthew 24:29-31 and Mark 13:24-27 make it clear that this "gathering unto Christ" doesn't come until AFTER the tribulation and the entire second chapter of 2 Thessalonians was written to make one specific point, that being the "gathering unto Christ" will NOT COME until the Antichrist comes FIRST and sits in the temple claiming to be God and causes a great falling away from the Christian faith. Christians who follow the Pre-tribulation doctrine are blindly ignoring and misinterpreting scriptures that are written as clear as day. If people would only look up Rev. 20:4-6 they would see that the FIRST RESURRECTION spoken of there clearly comes AFTER the Antichrist's oppressive reign and persecution of the saints, surely then they would see that the very same RESURRECTION spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 is part of this great "catching way", "catching up" or "rapture" and that this "catching away" of the saints who are still alive comes AFTER the dead rise first in this glorious resurrection and not 3 1/2 or 7 years before. The living follow the dead, rising into the air to meet the Lord - TOGETHER! These two descriptions in scripture, that of the RESURRECTION (or raising of the dead) and the rapture are clearly speaking about the SAME EVENT which comes AFTER the cruel reign of the Antichrist. These two areas of scripture have to be speaking of the SAME RESURRECTION, otherwise the one in Revelation could not be the same one and there can only be ONE "FIRST RESURRECTION!"

The scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." There can not be one speck of stain on the garments of christians when the rapture takes place and the spotless garment is the righteousness of Christ that is set upon His children whom believe Jesus for His saving grace is truth, that He alone saves and not by what self does.
Not here to say sinning is good, and surely we in Christ do not take advantage of His grace, though the truth is that believers in Christ will be sinners while on earth, regardless of the depth of sin, sin is sin. Even simply having a grumbling thought is sin in the sight of God and considered the same as the sin for someone whom would take a life, no matter the sin, sin is sin and one must be spotless to be raptured.
There is not one righteous in the sight of God apart from His righteousness and the only way to be seen as righteous in the sight of God is through Jesus' righteousness, that is set upon believers whom have set their faith in Christ alone and His finished work done by Him going upon the cross.
To add any self-righteous works upon Christ' righteousness is to forfeit the righteousness of Christ, thus having on a stained garment, which will result in being left behind for the grivious seven years of tribulation and facing the reality of having finally come to the truth of Christ; changing the mind to His truth that only by Jesus' grace alone is anyone saved and not of self earning the way.
We can never add ourselves in the same cup as Christ for He alone is The Saviour and He alone finished what we could never fulfill. Adding self into His cup is like slapping Jesus on the face and telling Him "I don't believe Your grace is enough, so I must do it" which is saying "I can walk the path Jesus walked" which is impossible for He alone was the only one able walk the righteous walk and be set upon the cross baring the sin of the whole world upon Himself, thus in the end victoriously coming off the cross and from death after three days for He was and is sinless rightfully took His place on the Throne and being the Saviour by His grace alone.
Salvation and the walking with Christ can not ever be set in the same cup of salvation; which the cup of salvation is Christ and His righteousness, and the walking with Christ is apart from salvation. Walking with Jesus is a lifelong process and surely the walk with Jesus does not save anyone because Jesus alone is The Saviour whom gives salvation to all whom would believe.
Surely Holy Spirit does renew the heart and mind of believers whom believe Jesus' grace is the truth, yet the believer will not be sinless while walking on earth, as the carnal flesh is still carnal until Christ transforms His bride and yet meanwhile here on earth the spirit of believers is not the old spirit that dwells inside believers, for it is the Sprint of Jesus our God whom dwells inside, that is believers whom believe Him and His saving grace gospel.
Left behind christians will have seven years to change their mind from the self-righteous belief to finally believing Jesus saving grace was and is the truth, though during the seven years the conclusion will be having to be martyred and yet being martyred is not what saves but the final coming to believe Jesus and His saving grace is truth.
Millions of christians will finally come to believe His truth and be saved, though it will be going on the hard road of being martyred. Now is the time to set self of His foundation of truth which will result in being raptured when that time comes and the key to Heaven is given by simply putting the faith in Christ alone and His saving grace gospel.
Holy Spirit does not lack the power to grow His children, so anyone whom says that the faith alone in Christ alone believers are "just wanting a ticket to sin" does not understand the truth of Holy Spirit/ Jesus/ God. God surely is more than capable to grow His children and yet for the child to know with assurance that the growth in Christ has nothing to do with salvation for Christ alone is our salvation.
Anyhow, went on long enough and for anyone whom wants to dispute His grace and finished work done for all whom would believe Jesus and His assurance, will say it now, I will not debate about Jesus' saving grace gospel and would say take it to The Saviour Jesus Christ and ask Him to be the revealer and surely according to His will He surely will reveal His grace is His truth and all glory is His alone. Actually it has, however there will be the two witnesses telling those during the first 3.5 years. After that there will be angels warning folks not to take the mark. That will take care of the “rest” of the world.
