I relate the subject of salvation like taking a train ride across the country. Your "works" here on earth are your luggage. You can store all you want in Heaven based on your good works here on earth. But if you don't have a ticket to get on the train then your luggage is leaving without you. Your ticket is your belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the redeemer of mankind. Without your belief in Jesus your works are useless to your salvation. You MUST purchase a ticket from Jesus. If He doesn't stamp your ticket then you're not getting on the train.
The caller was asking about Luke 17:30-36. But the answer is in verse 37. Read verse 37. Jesus tells you the answer. The disciples ask Him, "Where, Lord?". As in, "Where are the people taken?" Jesus' answer is a cryptic analogy but should be very clear. "Where the corpse/body is, there the vultures will be gathered together." Translation: The people that are taken are the wicked and are killed. Mat 13:30 and 13:41-42 confirm by Jesus' own words that the wicked are harvested FIRST and are killed. The people "left behind" are God's chosen and will reign with Christ for the millennial reign.
What shall we say then, shall we continue in sin? God Forbid......The spirit dwelling within a believer takes us ever Closer to be like him. Yes we may sin, but we feel sorrow and repentance follows. If we simply live in sin continually are we 'really' saved or following what has control over us. Jesus talked about who we 'follow' and who is master over us. Our comfortable preconditions that God should ignore our sin, no matter how condemned in the Word, while we 'play' Believer is questionable.
So, regarding the list in Galatians, that it says that anybody who deals with these things will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Because I have been struggling with jealousy, losing my temper. Does that mean that I’m not going to heaven then unless I can get a grip on my temper and my jealousy? I know that we’re not saved by works, but through faith and Grace alone.
Thank you so much Pastor . I have been having a bit of crisis . I may email the ministry if I can . When I had this crisis I felt to come here . This answers so much for me . Thank you for the clarification Pastor Brian. I always worry about my son and his girlfriend being left behind because they live together. They are both saved and they attend church. I always think of the scripture in 1 Corinthians 6:9 that says no fornicators will inherit the kingdom of God. My son says they are getting married this year; praying they do.🙏🙏🙏
If you read verse 1 Corinthians 6:11 (KJV) it tells us we are washed, justified, and sanctified. Often I see when people quote 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 to try and justify their belief that works are required in this that one has to stop doing the things in verses 9 and 10, they always conveniently leave out verse 11 which shows people are still saved regardless. There was another channel where someone who taught Greek weighed in on these very verses. They had mentioned that the Greek tense used in these verses is something called 'Anabasis' and 'Asyndeton' (don't know if I spelled either right). Those tenses are use to show an argument, some examples, and a conclusion. That means in that passage it's used to show who the unrighteous are, it's not a checklist for someone to follow to stop doing those things. It's a list of examples. So in context it tells us that the unrighteous are those who commit those things, but then those who believe on Jesus are washed, sanctified, and justified.
Even saved christians still sin because everyone regardless saved or unsaved are still living in our fallen sinful body. But all christian will receive a new sinless body in the rapture.
The “escape” in Luke 21:36 is the escape in Exo 8:22, Psa 91, and Dan 3:20. You will escape in the sense you’ll be protected. Because what’s with the overcomers at the end of ALL the 7 letters to the 7 churches? We shall ALL be tested, Job 23:10. And if you’re gonna say that the 7 letters are for the Jews (Jews are from Judah, the southern Kingdom), then i will argue that we have been engrafted into Israel (= Jacob), Rom 11:17. Besides, Paul considers them of the Northern Kingdom (generalized as Ephraim) Gentiles, Ephes 2:11-12 (“alienated from the commonwealth of Israel”, means you once were innit, you can’t be alienated from something you have never been a part of) + Psa 78:9-10 (didn’t keep God’s covenant). They are the outcasts (forgot their identity and live as Gentiles). But the staff that was broken will be again one (HalleluYAH!). The “alive AND remain” which sound like the overcomers are the raptured (1Thess 4:17 = Rev 10). Again, remain after what? Shalom.
I watched this after your new upload, and it was a good follow-up. I had an underlying concern that I'd gone from one extreme (Lordship salvation) to the other (free grace). I'm just left with the confusion of Judas never having believed, and Jesus speaking in parables, so that the listeners would not understand, because then they could believe, which would save them. And Jesus didn't want them to be saved. And the works of God is this, that you believe in his son. Is that not a "true believer" no matter how much they mess up
Another aspect of the audience and references in the words of Christ which refer back to Daniel, is that the Church did not yet exist, and He fore knew of the collective rejection by the Jews. Seems to me that there are few areas more frequently confused than audiences being addressed in the Gospels, and the two very different natures and paths of what would become the Church, and the Christ rejecting Jews.

I have my very first question here Pastor. I heard this morning at 2 am from a pastor named Breaker here on UA-cam explain that the "Gospel of the Kingdom" is NOT the Gospel of Salvation but directed at the Tribulation Jews for the future Millenial kingdom. Can you confirm that for me? It would explain a great many things if that is correct. I've searched many commentaries but without answers
Hi, I think that there is 3 raptures, the first ,the barely, the church. Second, the wheat, the left behind church. Third, the grapes, the Jews. pre, mid, post. Luke,Mark,Matthew. Just saying.
Brian what about Hebrews 10-26,I would like to hear your thoughts on this,I think this is written to the jews who were trampling on the blood of Jesus and going back under law, am I right on that.
Shalom. My understanding is: Prov 28:13 = You have to confess AND forsake your sin. Confession cleanses your garment (of righteousness that you’ve been given once you trusted in Jesus’s blood), keeps it white. How do you forsake sin? You have to separate yourself from sin [repent = U turn, a turn away from sin and thus unto God, for sin and God (= Holy) are opposite]. You can’t repent and still be doing it, that’s just you being sorry, have remorse. Repentance comes with evidence, a change in you and your lifestyle. God is holy and He demands you to be holy. Without holiness - you will not enter His Kingdom, Heb 12:14. In Rev 19:7 “the Bride makes HERSELF ready” (it is a process, part of your sanctification = being made righteous after you have been declared righteous, ie justification, when you believed and received the white garment), and the Bride is just a portion of the Body of Christ. We are all sealed but we’re not all going to be kings and priests. We were all given white garments but when the Lord comes some will be found with their garments tainted (not confessed and not repented sin) and some completely naked, Mark 14:51-52, ie apostate. Some will have crowns and rewards and some won’t, and here on earth is where our race for the prize is, 1Cor 9:24, Heb 12:1.
in the KJV you will not find "repent of sins" Sin is transgression of the law, repenting of sins would be following the law and Galatians 3:11 tells us we are not justified by the law. Repent in Greek (language it was originally written) = Metanoia which means to change one's mind. It means going from unbelief to belief. It's all about the blood of Jesus, he paid it all/
That would be a person who claims to be a christian but never really put their faith and trust wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ blood atonement for the forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation / they were never truly born again. Kjv [John 3:3-7]. They will be the ones who will be Left behind after the Rapture. The born again christian who did put their faith and trust wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ blood atonement is born again/ saved washed in Jesus blood but sadly some don’t serve / live for Christ that christian is a carnal christian nevertheless they are in Christ but it’ll be a loss of rewards at the judgment seat of Christ for those believer’s .
It's all about the blood of Jesus, he paid it all/
What about lukewarm christian ?
Kjv [Ephesians 1:7] Kjv [Ephesians 2:8-9]
@victoriapopaz5303 cannot have two masters and expects to be rapture
@@philippeguenet7647 don’t misunderstand I’m not advocating sin ❌ once we become born again and we learn about our true identity in Christ our desire to sin changes but remember we will never reach perfection we fall short , even born again christians sin right? Jesus was and is the perfect sacrifice his precious blood washed us clean it is finished right ?.
Kjv [ Ephesians 2:8-9]
Kjv [Ephesians 1:7]
@victoriapopaz5303 bible is clear if you love the world you are not with the Father
@@philippeguenet7647 The KJVB is clear , we are no good but if we wholeheartedly put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ blood atonement and we believe in the death , burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are redeemed / born again / sealed by the Holy Spirit/ JUST- IF - IED never sinned 😁 none of us will ever reach perfection Christ blood is what redeems our souls not what we do or don’t do .? when we fall short thats a matter of rewards / losses at the judgement seat of Christ . Focus on Christ FINISHED WORK 🥰
"Easy Believism" - is believing in Jesus alone really easy, or is it the narrow gate. All those who say Lord, Lord, are sent away for trusting in their works, not Jesus.
JEREMIAH 7, GOD DON'T HEAR PRAYERS FROM THE ABORTIONIST IDOLATORS OR THE OPPRESSORS NOR THEIR INTERCESSORS PRAYERS ARE NOT HEARD OF BY GOD FOR THEY NEVER REPENTED YET JEREMIAH 7 STIPULATES.
1JOHN 5;16 ALL SIN IS SIN, BUT THERE IS A SIN UNTO DEATH, I'D HAVE YOU NOT ASK OF THIS.
AN ENIGMA UP UNTIL NOW, NOT ABIDING IN LOVE WITH ONE ANOTHER OR WE QUENCH THE HOLY SPIRIT, THUS NO OIL.

Revelation 1:7 “7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.”
According to scripture we will all be here.
