Hey splat, I know you prob wont see this but in the off chance you do. Ive been a fan for a few years now, your vids got me through some tough times and I just want to say thank you for years of enterainment
I was casually playing no mans sky while listening to the vid, that aeon flux comment? Bro, that show. Is and will forever will be iconic. (and the movie was a piss poor attempt at making it something.)
Our play style preferences are so similar it's almost spooky. But, I love watching you. I never get that "I want to rip the controller out of his hands" feeling.
Very interesting, the fighting system with this kind of physics is promising of a good challenge, and with the upgrades, skills and different ships, this has great potential. Thanks Splatt'
@@lechking941 Not sure if you find appropriate pictures, but universe itself consists mostly of sentient robots with spacefaring technologies, but most middleages culture.

"Games never give the player multiple health bars". Well they do it for decades, most other people on this planet however call the concept you encountered "Extra Lives". :-P But in a way you are right, since most modern games don't use extra lives anymore.
This reminds me of Hammerfight game. Mostly melee physics fighting game. Check it out if you haven't heard of it before, it's old but I still enjoyed replaying it. Does anyone else know any similar games?
@11:50 i paused this around here, and an hour later, started placing it from here, and this felt like a definitive addressing to my current depression and suicidal emotional state...
So, if they only ever give the "bad guys" multiple health bars and in this game you have multiple heath bars wouldn't that make you one of the bad guys?
Looks pretty cool! It has a very attractive art style. I will have to check it out. Although I must admit that I am not a fan of the name. I don't see how the name Fabular fits the game at all. It certainly doesn't inform me that it involves jousting space knights.
@@FabularOnceuponaSpacetime Haha. Yeah, I understand. I suppose my lack of familiarity with Eastern European languages didn't help. Anyway, the game still looks great. Best of luck to you.
Sci-fi star fairing Sakura Wars-esque mechs with an FTL star map but with real time player skill based combat? Yo, I think I know what game I wanna check out next. (edit) Oh no, it's not out yet. Guess I'll wishlist it and play the demo to hold me over :D
Shame about the graphical style. This would have been really cool. Seems there is some sort of law that says every indy game has to be low res pixel art.

got me there at "High Medieval Infused Mecha Jousting Sci Fi Roguelite"
I am ALL FOR mixing fantasy with sci-fi it' what I wish Destiny leaned further into

"I'd love to have you and be your host", that is the most humble invite to watch twitch I think I've seen yet!

Backed it on Kickstarter way back when. They had me with the art and concept. Watching you play it validates the intuition I had back then. :D
What a sweet style. Gonna check it out. Glad you played it. Too many games are overlooked and don't receive the attention they deserve.

the menues give me hardcore children of morta vibes, its good shit
Really unique and cool new gameplay on this. Melee Space Combat, who'd have thunk it? Looks amazing!
I'm so proud our man just gave titan quest a shout-out. Such an underestimated masterpiece.
Man, that remembers me a lot to Starbound's glitch race. It's amazing!
Thats exactly what i thought of too! Damn i haven't played that in years i should try it
The only man I’ve ever heard of who knows what a Fleur is but called a Lance a “knight stick”
I feel like someone just took a bunch of awesome words and shoved them together. Your title hooked me, I'm looking forward to seeing what it means!
"Tell it to the one-legged man, so he can kick it on down the road."
Wow! I've been following this project for so many years.. Excited to finally see some game-play!
Dude this game is just perfict to my mind and ears. So dude a sweet find
I dont know why, but local art reminds me of Stanislav's Lem "Cyberiad" universe.
I now am gonna look that up but I do like the space medieval space lizard... (God I'm loving this art stly as well)

I was sold when the traitor knight had his own heraldry.
Damn this looks great, reminds me of Cryptark, dunno why..
Certainly seems to play similar, although much slower.
Definitely adding this to the wishlist.
"Goofy Monty Phyton music" Your ingame volume is always so low, that I can only hear your voice, which is a good one. Haha
Such a well made game. Looks like a ton of fun!
This combat reminds me of the anime outlaw star. In that anime you have spaceships with arms that use weapons.
You had me at mecha jousting then it just got better😁
7:16 - 7:41 Thank you for this information.
"the blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb" The full blood is thicker than water quote.
Not that it matters that much, but I too thought you had covered this just a few months ago. I was gobsmacked when it said October

Came for the review... stayed for the angry pudding rant.
I feel like SplatCat could have done with an Ice Cold Battle Brew at some point.
Try out Starsector if you haven't already. It was clearly the influence behind this.
Huzzah he’s done it again
Bro haven’t even watched the video but this fuckin title just drew me in
Not really my type of game but I absolutely love the art style.
Looks great, a more combat-centered Sunless Skies
Definitely here for steam punk space mecha jousting. wishlisted

really interesting game, very similar to everspace in some ways but with completely different graphics and style
Should have been called The Princes New Flow
Is this the free demo, or an early (private) release?

It's sort of a video game version of Outlaw Star if anyone is familiar with the anime.

you should play Hammer Fight-
I don't know why but watching your videos makes my mouse disconnect and reconnect (tested with other videos and streaming sites)
This is a dope game

The gameplay and graphics look polished. The english though... really bad, especially for a game with so much reading.

I'd say early, because I am. But like *that's cringe*
