No rose quartz did not exist in this alternate universe and Steven doesn’t have a gem just like Nora. Nora and Steven are siblings. Btw sry u had to wait 1 yr to get ur answer.
(The person who uploaded this is fine, this is in no way directed towards them) The diamonds banishing gems itself is weird, but to earth?? That's just irresponsible. Send them somewhere that they can learn their lesson! I'm sorry to say, but banishing is very out of character. I know this is like an alternate universe but if you're still going to present the diamonds as the diamonds we've always known, then make it accurate. There are plenty of other little nitpicks but they're pretty normal in alternate universes and such, like how pink diamond is alive with both steven AND nora there, and how Pearl's kid is a hybrid... correct me if I'm wrong but I thought in this comic series pearl had a wife? Two female presenting people can have a child but a hybrid is impossible in this situation. I think They try to explain it when she's talking to blue but it just does not work. Now the whale, OOOH THE WHALE, is so weird!! A floating pink whale, based after the whale steven makes in Rose's room, who speaks in yellowtail talk and WHOOOO's, just up and appears right away and acts as how lion does to steven. But the whale is just a bit much. I wish they explained a little bit more, but sadly that's not how it turned out. That's about it for my rant of some random one-off comic. I just wanted to get all this off my chest. I dont care about the pacing of the comic besides the immediate exposition. This might be one of the creators first comics/stories, so they can most certainly improve. And if it isnt one of their first stories and they have made many before, then still, they should improve. I actually really like this concept if done right, and there are plenty of different ways to do this right and I've seen them, but this could use some work.
Baby mode This comic is based off of a cartoon and you do know that cartoon sometimes throws logic out the window?
For the earth banishment...well...the diamonds probably saw something wrong with the planet...since you know war? Or the banished Pink for a reason....what if to learn her lesson she had to stay there for a few 1,000 years to destroy the planet after her banishment? You know for emotional effects?just imagine being there for 4,000 years (I think) that you’ve been there,did everything to protect it,lived your life, just to lose it all? There are barely any space ships to even begin with because they were probably destroyed! And teleporters would probably work but everything in the planet is what she saw beauty in! So if she did this to protect the planet by doing what they have said or else....so here’s explanation #1
About the gem hybrids....how about steven? He’s half human, half gem and probably Nora as well! It would make sense that A gem hybrid would be in a world like that,so Pearl played the role of the male but!!!!This is an AU the explanation for Pearl and Sabrina having a kid is....still a mystery!
And last but not least the whale...I’m just going to ask if you’ve ever done some research on Lion....
He pops up in the middle of a dessert!
And treats Steven as his master protecting him with all his life....

@@ronaldjohnechavez1970 There is no chance Pearl would do something like that (Even if it IS an alternate Pearl, she is very feminine, and doesn't even enjoy EATING. So I don't think she would be interested in having a child with someone). Also, she would have had to give up her physical form (PD would have had to, as well. They could have just made Nora and Steven twins and not possibly give Nora a Gem, but instead give her some less-powerful versions of Lion and Lars' abilities).
The planet banishment really DOESN'T make sense, if we're going with the line 'Will EVERYONE who comes to this miserable planet turn against us?!' (Forgive me, but that's how I remember Blue Diamond saying it. Sorry if it's wrong), so why would Blue Diamond, Yellow Diamond, and White Diamond WILLINGLY send Pink Diamond to a planet where rebellion is a common thing? If you try to say 'The rebellion didn't happen' or something dumb like that to find a flaw this, it says in the first few panels of this comic that Pink started a rebellion, fought in the war, and lost.
And last (And most certainly not last), the Whale. Lion MAY just pop up, but One: Lion presumably died and came back to life due to Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond's Revival Saliva (Remember, Steven and Pink Diamond's healing and revival methods are switched), and Two: Lion recognises the fact that Steven has Rose Quartz' Gem, and trusts him because of that. Even with the 'Defensive Proof' that Lion treats Steven like his master, he still doesn't listen to Steven, so I wouldn't call him Lion's master in any way, shape or form. The Whale, meanwhile, just comes out of nowhere, and does very little to further the plot besides: 'My big brother has a magical animal, so I should too'.
Anyway, the comment was JUST criticism, which YOU rudely criticised (So yes, you are both mean AND salty), and you basically called the commenter dumb for *not remembering facts that most people probably wouldn't remember this far into the show.*
