  • Here is the Rodney Dillard Band show casing their awsome fiddle and madolin player George Giddens, this muscian is amazing, playing both instruments during any song and not missing a beat. If George has not gotten a IBMA award for his playing, he should.
Since Rodney has George, he should pay him double since he does the duty of two musicians. Next time The Rodney Dillard band is in town check out their great music and get one of George's cds of his fiddle playin.

George Giddens is one of the finest fiddle players I have ever known. Have known George since about 1969 (Hugo, OK) and I have NEVER heard him play a bad note. Don't underestimate George..... he can play ANY type or style of music and YES he is classically trained.

I saw George at the Mountain Dance and Folk Festival. He played, "The Orange Blossom Special." It was the first time that I remember an immediate standing ovation. The best that I have ever heard, both rendition and violinist.

My name is Randy Brown and I had the pleasure of playing drums with George for a couple years in the 80s. Years later he invited me to join a band he was playing with in Branson, MO back when it was booming...I definitely would have taken him up on the offer but by then I was playing in a band with my future wife. George, if you see this I hope you'll maybe check out what I'm doing now on youtube and maybe contact me (I cant find a contact for you)
