Top List!! I have a few Niche fragrances and a bunch of Niche decants, but I am wearing only two Niche scents frequently. So for me, my most important Niche scents are 1. Oud Wood, 2. Pegasus!
This was simply the best. I can't even begin to break down to 10 of my niche fragrances! OMG ....hum...um... NO I can't do it! LOL. Daver this was wonderful and so much fun to watch. Cheers.

Since there really are so many different scents . reviewers should have a *Keep Only 5 Seasonal's* .
That would expand the _Keep Only's to 20_ , but it would give the reviewers a chance to look at their only's
in a more expanding, comprehensive but compact way.
You could say it's the *_Expanded Edition Only's List_* .
I enjoy these Only lists , for it makes the reviewers purvey/arrange their lists in an intense manner .
Generally the lists are These Are My Top 5 Falls , but with the pressure of
If I Had Only , it makes the reviewers look at their collections with more scrutiny .

I have Jeke, it's a bit of a barbecue in the opening, but that passes quickly and the rest of Jeke is very nice.
Oh, I like the lists to not have the usually spring/summer and fall/winter combos ,
but instead to have all the four seasons done separately .
Wow , the older I get, the more picky I seem to become.

Great review my friend. I just bought ambre nuit and bois d Argent based on this video. They are incredible. I never tried the older formulations. Have you checked if they are still the same? Thanks.
I haven't tried theses since they rebooted the Privee line. I think they are the same, though.
Another unique list, good to see a list of fragrances that I need to look into, instead of the usual Houses & scents that are often mentioned..

I could not choose among tobacco vanille, Tuscan leather, oud wood, noir de noir, aventus, millesime imperial , royal oud, virgin island water, git, colonia leather, colonia essenza, interlude, reflection, jubilation 25, oajan, layton, herod, carlisle, bleecker street, grand soir......
I love the way you describe how they smell I could almost smell it behind my laptop. I need to get a couple of these bottles.

This is my first time visiting your channel and won't be the last one .You seem like a nice guy.I have a few samples of Ambre Nuit that a really generous sales associate at my local Neiman Marcus gave me.The combination of amber and rose is gorgeous, unfortunately,the juice doesn't last on my skin for more than a couple of hours and that sucks brother.
Also,talking about Creed,I think Royal Oud doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I like Atelier Colognes as well! One minor point: The name means "Intoxicating citron." "Cedrat" is the French name for "citron", a type of citrus.

Great choices! I’m really intrigued by those Slumberhouse fragrances. Some of my favorites are absolue pour le soir, derby, rose Flash... I think I’m going to stop before I name too many! I’m interested to see what these new Diors have to offer...

I LOVE Dior but Ambre Nuit is just ok, definitely not for everyone. It’s really spicy and mature but in a feminine way, it has similarities to an older feminine perfume that I can’t put my finger on but several others have said the same to me. I like the scent but there’s never a situation I would pick it over other doors I own and a few Tom Fords, I’ve had a hard time using up a 5ml decant. It’s definitely a beast of a performer though. It laaaaaasts and projects I would say at least as much as OG Tuscan Leather.
Why is a Christian Dior scent considered a niche scent? I would have assumed a scent made by a mainstream company would kind of disqualify it. I’m still learning so I am curious what makes a cologne/perfume niche?
It’s not really a defined term. Plus I think both “niche” and “designer” are poor descriptors of fragrances. But in essence, this is not sold in mainstream stores, and is only found in specialty boutiques.

Lots of reviewers swear bois d’iris is better than bois d’argent but I don’t think so. I understand why people won’t want to pay $300 for bois d’argent when you can get bois d’iris for $90 but if you have the money get bois d’argent

Superb video as always, my Bro D’Argent! I agree with every darn thing on your list except I’ve never snorted any Slumberhouseses. So, instead I will substitute…umm…maybe Dries Van Noten from Frederic Malle? Yeah. It’s the only scent that I consider to come from the same tribe of ethereality as Bois d’Argent. It’s strange and beautiful.
Slumberhouse is a really interesting house that I think everyone who likes niche fragrances should try. If you can get samples (maybe Luckyscent?) they're definitely worth it.

Your a really good reviewer I just wish you would put the names of the colognes on the screen this way we can pause it to either screenshoot it or write it down....
Which one are you looking for? I normally have Amazon links for the fragrances. I don’t like to add text in videos normally.
@@FragranceBros I forget which one exactly but putting the names on the screen or holding the bottle close to the camera for a few seconds so we can see the names just helps the viewers....
I just prefer it this way. Most people don’t care.

I definitely see the bubblegum association. I believe I read somewhere that blackcurrant is used a lot in fruit flavoring, so it makes sense that it would be in gum.

hahaha I knew someone would point out that inconsistency. lol. I really don't. Even though I'd be upset if Ambre Nuit was ruined, it wouldn't be the end of the world, and it wouldn't necessarily mean the end of that scent. Some other house would probably make something similar. Maybe even DUA. 😬😂😂

oops posted my top 10 but listed a bunch of TOM FORD on my top 10 designer scents (cuz he does clothes too) I did make the mistakes of listing 2 niche scents by NASOMATTO & SERGE LUTENS so not counting TF in this list Id add several by NASOMATTO & SERGE LUTENS JIM from MIAMI BEACH

I went to purchase a decant sample of Dior Ambre Nuit and noticed that it's listed as a FEMALE fragrance! Huh?
it's unisex. Some third party sites feel the need to categorize fragrances, and sometimes they do it wrong. It's a fantastic fragrance either way! 😀

the term "niche" is somewhat vague. Without going into much detail here, I would say that Guerlain's higher end perfumes would easily be considered niche, while their more accessible offerings are in a gray area.
Fragrance Bros. Cheers dave ..guerlain really is difficult to decide , the only time we see it usually in England is in airports and high end department stores but it's easy to source on ebay.

These are Niche Fragrances yes? Dior is a Designer fragrance. Just because it's a private blend that makes it Niche? How? You have so many other unique Fragrances I'm sure you can find something to replace the Dior. Have you ever tried anything from Dubai or India? Have you ever experienced an Oud Fragrance or oil?
the debate over "designer" and "niche" is partly subjective. The word "niche" itself is really only talking about the audience, not the fragrances. There are designers who have mainstream (i.e., "designer") scents, sold at reasonable prices, that smell pleasant to a wide audience. That audience is not niche. Then some of those designers, like Dior and Tom Ford, have separate lines of fragrances sold in boutiques or high end department stores that specialize in expensive products. These fragrances take a few more risks, are more expensive, and are for a niche audience. So, yes, Dior's Privee Collection is niche, as I define it. If you see it differently, then we'll agree to disagree.

"Niche" is really the wrong word to use, though everyone has adopted it. It's further muddied by the fact that there is no distinct line between niche/designer or high and low quality scents.

Boss agree with your list....but wouldn't it be better having or presenting one frag from each house than many .....also have you tried JOVOY...PROFUMUM ROMA...NISHANE...ORMOND JAYNE....WELTON....VON EUSERSDORFF....HISTOIRES DI PARFUMS.....SANA JARDIN...LALEBO....MFK...FRAGRANCE DU BOIS.....ORTHO PARISI.....LENG LENG....ROJA DOVE......etc...these are the best among others in present market....and anyone missing at least one on above, IS IMBALANCE......ur one of the best UA-cam frags reviewers but how come you miss them....
this is my list of my personal favorites. I've tried many from those lines, and while they are good, they're not my favorites, thus not on this video.
