This song really captures Kol treatment in the show and hos he must have felt. The video is really gorgeous. Considering Kol character and his attitude to these betrayals is so frustrating - like in different wikis it is explicitly said that he is vengeful. Then why do writers make his constantly forgive his family ( considering he was the second mistreated Mikaleson by his family after Finn) while he was not a part of Always and Forever(rightfully)
thank you darling i'm really glad you liked it :) it means a lot to that's exactly what i don't like about the situation, all the time they make sure that kol won't even try to get any revenge and i think it's for a simple reason : so that their favorite originals won't look bad like they truly are especially rebekah and elijah, rebekah would be the betrayer of the family not kol (that was ridiculous ) and elijah would no longer be considered the "noble" brother considering that the only way he comunicates with his brother is either barking orders or a dagger, he was even annoyed klaus undaggered him once but for some reason kol never held a grudge agaist him for that, or called him out on it, it was like nothing happened and then he's considered "selfish" "liar" "backstabber'" and "vengeful" ? it's like the writers either are too lazy to write him properly or they just don't like that people didn't forget him and they're just messing up his character as a revenge
Wooooooow!!!! That's extremly awesome!!! One of the best Kol videos, I've ever seen. It was badass and focused on his feelings about this family at the same time. I soooo love it! I also hated that Rebekah and Kol didn't have a reunion scene in the finale and I agree with many other things, you said. Like for example, Elijah defending Elena, after Katherine killed Jeremy, but forgetting, that Elena killed his brother! That was just... ugh! And I never understood Rebekah BFF-ing with Elena and saving her life, just after, she killed Kol. And her wanting to be with Matt, who actually, also was a part of the plan, at least, he was there in Elena's house, before Kol arrived. But I don't remember correctly. Plus, Matt even was the one, who killed Finn, too. I know, it doesn't belong here, I just mentioned. Sooo, I just sooooooooooo love this video! And as I said, it showed Kol's badass side, too, which, I absolutely like!
awwwwww thank you ♥ i'm glad you liked it and that's exactly what i wanted to show, his very overlooked side of the story and since the song is very badass i was like "why not show some badass kol scenes" i agree with what you said, the entire original family lost all its appeal to me after kol died (actually during the entire season 4 but it just got worse) klaus completely forgot about his revenge, and then on to when kol said "dead but never mourned" quote he said that they were all mistreated and that he "tried" to avenge him, it's like rewriting the story when it didn't happen like that and it made kol look like a whiny brat the point is they all became ooc, rememeber how stefan was like "they will kill us all out spite they maybe dysfunctional bickering lunatics but they stick together no matter what" and then became bffs with that group after their brother got killed, i think they did that because obviously the writers hate kol, especially original kol, and they wanted the audience to move on quick so they made all the remaining originals ok with their brother dying as a sign that kol didn't matter and i also don't get how she could want to be with matt after he killed finn even tho she didn't care much and you can discuss whatever you want here ;) i understand how much the writing is frustrating
you're welcome sweetie and i don't understand them either, the reason why pople loved the originals so much was once we knew about kol, at 1st we were like "yeah klaus is so badass elijah and bekah are interesting" but once we knew about finn and kol it turned into "these guys need their own show" kol was so unique, fun, carefree, totally loved being a vampire and embraced it like no one else, he was also very smart and badass if he didn't get killed so soon he would've easily overshadowed elijah and even klaus and the show wouldn't have suffered so much after claire left (because it was like the last straw losing 2 originals in 1 year)

yeah just look at the situation, kol was in barely 7 episodes and a lot loved him and fought for him to come back, imagine if it was longer, and i hated the body switch too, especially how the writers behaved like "daniel made kol human" "daniel showed a side of kol nate couldn't" "daniel plays kol the right way" it's like he had that job out of nate's work for years and how he was nice to his fans and got unfairly praised for it, idk what's happening bts but i'm sure something is wrong with them and i hope next season they'll writ kol in a better way because i never cringed so much before
