Caviar the Baby Goldfish

  • A change of pace: here's some footage of baby Caviar in his grow out tank with his two platy buddies. Normally you don't keep tropical fish with goldfish since they like different temperatures, but this tank is kept at room temperature which is about 71-75 degrees in the library, which has been good for both types. Obviously before Caviar becomes large enough to eat his tankmates, they will be removed!

      Yup! This is the one who managed to escape. Caviar is 5 months old now.

      @@siriusblack67 he is adorable I bet you kind of wish you saved more eggs. But then space and well-being off fish is important.

    I saw platies in there. Platies shouldn’t go with goldfish

      Yeah, I addressed that in the notes under the video. They won't be kept together long term, of course.
