Trains at Severn Tunnel Junction - 20/11/23

Video: A late afternoon spotting trains at Severn Tunnel Junction station situated on the Gloucester to Newport and South Wales Main Lines, with passing & stopping GWR services to/from London Paddington, Penzance, Taunton, Portsmouth Harbour, Cardiff Central, Swansea, and Carmarthen, some stopping TfW services to/from Maesteg and Cheltenham Spa (as well as a 197 on test from Canton Sidings to Cheltenham Spa), passing XC services to/from Nottingham and Cardiff Central, and passing freight moves (incl. a 319 scrap move).
This was the last time I saw a TfW 170 before it was transferred to EMR.

CrossCountry Class 170 Turbostars, Great Western Railway (GWR) Class 158 Express Sprinters & Class 166 Networker Turbos & Class 255 Castle HSTs & Class 387 Electrostars & Class 800 / 802 IETs, Transport for Wales Class 150 Sprinter & Class 158 Express Sprinter & Class 170 Turbostar & Class 197 Civity, DB Class 66s, Freightliner Class 66, Rail Operations Group Class 37 with an ex-Northern Class 319 for scrap.
