I mean look at Ali. Moreover injuries like floyds that he sustained to his fists to the point he had to change his style also don't get better with age. Well its not you pushing the rematch is it? Manny lost pretty decisively the first time so he probably is pushing for a rematch. After all he has more to prove than floyd and floyd has more to lose being 50-0. If manny loses he just loses another time, and he already has lost quite a few times in his career. Floyd honestly gains nothing from this match having beat him before. Not to mention he is the older fighter and agile playstyles don't lend themselves well to father time. His damaged hands more then likely have also only got worst. I rematch would work in pacmans favor even if it would have been in his favor last time as well. An older fighter should honestly not be running circles around a younger guy (if he moved around so much he should have tired faster as well), and honestly its pacmans fault that he failed to cut off the ring. Watch the fight between Floyd and Judah and you will see how its actually done when fighting an agile opponent. Pacman was made to look like an amateur all things considered in his first fight. This is his chance at redemption. Maybe he wins now that floyd is old and retired.

Floyd pretty good at adapting as well all things considered, but ya he is older than manny so entirely possible manny wins when floyds style relies largely on his reflex, timing and agile foot work, and less on trying to knock you out - they say power tends to go last when you age as a boxer. Floyd fists aren't exactly getting better with time. Probably has to take a lot of pain medication just to get through the day.

Manny is only 2 years younger but he has full of fire and accumulated grudge carried over since 2015. He lost narrowly due to pre-existing shoulder injury.
