- Reluctantly, 17-year-old Gretchen leaves her American home to live with her father, who has just moved into a resort in the German Alps with his new family. Arriving at their future residence, they are greeted by Mr. König, her father's boss, who takes an inexplicable interest in Gretchen's mute half-sister Alma. Something doesn't seem right in this tranquil vacation paradise. Gretchen is plagued by strange noises and bloody visions until she discovers a shocking secret that also concerns her own family.

Neon has been killing it with these recent horror teasers with this and Longlegs. Definitely excited to watch both when they come out this year

Most of the reviews of this movie which premiered at the Berlinale Film Festival have been spectacular for the ever-versatile Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey, Legion, Eurovision, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, The Guest, Apostle, Permission, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Sense & Sensibility, Vamps, I'm Your Man, Beauty & the Beast, The Line of Beauty, Gaslit, High Mintenance, etc.). This terribly underrated actor hits it out of the park again!
Watching because of Jessica Henwick! 🙌

I’ve always held NEON to a pretty high standard, seeing as they produce some really good movies and have been for ages, but lately their marketing has really skyrocketed. They need to permanently hire the people responsible for this, as they obviously understand what horror movies are and how they should be presented.
