I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting for something like this. I've always loved Anastasia and now I have something to study to. An immediate love
Every time i listen to this playlist I tend to imagine a whole entire winter movie playing in my head. Each and every song is perfectly aligned with one another, giving there own scenes and atmosphere for the actions that the characters in my head do and experience. I once fell asleep while listening to this playlist, and I had a dream that i had gotten transported to a winter wonderland, falling from the sky and crashing into a large hill of snow, where i would get back up and realize that there was nothing but snow and ice. I dusted myself off and began to walk through this new place that i was in. I had not a clue as to where i was or how I even got here, feeling the cold wind blowing on my overcoat, making the tail of it flap around behind me as I continued to walk into the blueish grayish mist. Taking in all the snow that fell all around me. Suddenly, I would end up finding what appeared to be an old train station, completely empty. Not a singles soul could be seen within the station other then me. I walked through the station halls and there I was standing outside where the rails were. And to my surprise, there was a steam train that was seemingly waiting for me there. I stared at it for a while, deciding if i sound get in one of the coaches or not. At first i turned around to leave, but stopped, took a deeo breath, and turned back to the train and entered the coaches. Suddenly, the train blew its whistle, and began to pull the coaches. Somehow it was even managing to fly across the wintery world before landing back onto the ground, and coming to a halt. When I opened the door, i noticed that there was another train station. Once I had stepped out, the train would blow its whistle yet again, before taking off. Vanishing into the mist, leaving me alone. I later left the train station and ended up finding myself walking through this trail. I found a bench and a street lamp shining within the cold snowy mist. I stopped, looking around, trying to see if i could see anything at all. But i couldn't. The feeling of knowing that i was all alone in that cold snowy world was very... interesting. However, a new feeling would begin to settle in as I continued to stand in place. I was starting to freeze... Really bad. And without anywhere else for me to go, I just stood underneath the light of the street lamp and tried to huddle myself within my overcoat. I was getting covered in snow, and the feeling of ice forming on my eye lashes could be felt. Suddenly, the mist has begun to clear and I was able to see what appeared to be a massive castle that was actually not that far away from me. So I decided to use all of the strength and energy that i had and ran out of the light and into the now weakened mist. And with that, i would managed to make it just in time before I had froze to death. The door was unlocked surprisingly and i went it and shut the door behind me. It was a giant royal castle that had seemed to be made up of ice. Eventually I had ended up meeting one of the royals, her being known as the Queen Of Winter. Knowing that i was someone who didn't belong, she informed me that if i had wished to return back to my world, then i would have to complete a few task. One of those being to dance with her daughter, the Princess Of Winter in a ball. I agreed and had removed my coat, revealing a well tailored suit that I was wearing underneath. The princess would walk down the blue stairs, and i was starstruck. She was so... Beautiful... She smiled upon seeing me. I couldn't help but smile back. The ball would soon begin, and I would begin to practice dancing to the timeless waltz with the princess. And surprisingly she was actually having a lot of fun. Laughing, twirling, swinging, etc. Honestly I was quite impressed, and as someone who isn't that great at dancing, I must say I was putting on the rits. We danced as the snow fell from the celling, the piano singing its soft, slow notes. As I held her, slowly dancing with her in this giant ball room. I had began to feel as though I was at peace. As if no matter what happened, I would be okay. How lovely. After the dance was over, I was then called to meet the Queen. I walked into the thrown room, and there she was, sitting high and mighty upon her thrown as I stood before her. The princess would take her seat right next to her, looking at me with a soft smile. That was until the Queen had unleashed a knight wearing grayish blue armor, yealding a sword within his hand. The Queen had spoken, saying that if I wished to return back to where I once came, then I must battle this knight. The princess frowned, now wearing a sadden and quite nervous face. It was then that he started to approach me, and I knew that I had no choice but to battle him. I was handed my own soward, and he would begin to circle around each other for a few moments before we clashed. We both danced, attempting to stab one another with our blads. He was getting the upper hand, beating me. Eventually he had ended up striking the side of my face, making a deep cut. I felt the blood pour from my left cheek, before looking at the princess. I knew I had to win. And with that I charged into battle yet again, using all the strength and focus that I had. Until I had found an opening on his neck. Looks like it wasn't fully protected. And I strick my soward at that area of his body, slicing it off. I then transitioned to being inside of this room, holding a blue ball within my hands. This was what I needed in order to get back. I was preparing to leave until I saw the princess. She tried to plead me to stay, but I told her that I couldn't. After a little while, she would finally lead me to a horse carriage that had taken me to this beautiful frozen lake. Upon leaving the carriage, I would begin to place my feet on the ice, before I had started to lce skate. To my surprise the princess couldn't help but join me. And we danced, and sang, and skated all over the frozen water. Having the best time of our lives, well... At least the best time of my life. Eventually we had crashed into his big hill made of snow. I caught her to that she didn't get hurt, and suddenly, she just looked into my eyes. And kissed me. Goodness me was that a shocker. But I embraced it. She then got up, helping me get as well before she had begun to tell me just how much she loved me and how wonderful I am. She wanted me to stay here with her forever and never grow old. And I thought about it. I was about to say yes, but then i thought about all of the people I would leave behind. My parents, all my friends, my family, everyone who cares and loves me. And despite how much I loved her, and how much I wanted to stay, I knew that in the end, i couldn't. So, I told her just that. I told her about everything. And after all kf of that, she kissed me one more time before allowing me to go. I ventured all the way up on top of the hill. The wind blowing, as the snow fell all around us. "Will you come back?" She asked. It wasn't possible. I knew that once I left, that would be the end. And I would never see her again. I assured her that I will always remember her, and that I loved her dearly. I bid her farewell, before the ball had formed into a ball of light. And I was back to where I was before I left. It was midnight. I would sit underneath a street light, sitting on a bench, all by myself once again. And with that, ny dream had ended.
studying in a library right now for my SAT on saturday. i saw this, and i have never clicked on a notification so fast it’s crazy thank you! edit #1: took the SAT yesterday; honestly, i did a lot better than i expected! if anyone is interested i could post my score here once i get it. i hope i did okay! edit #2: goddddd i did a lot worse than i wanted to. i have like eight more changes though so it’s okay!
This was so nice to listen to! I had some organizing to do on some files and this went so well with it. It was calm yet the music gave me motivation and energy to continue doing it. Though, at some points I just stared at the screen and just listened... That's something I do rarely in these types of situations, it was nice. A big thank you, and hope you continue making these! This is absolutely amazing. Some of my favorite songs to listen to are in here, and they're just perfectly mixed! I love this kind of music, it gives me a sense of direction when I'm training juggling and it relaxes me when I'm studying. It's so easy to get lost in these soft sounds!
