I have had the opportunity to travel across this great country and have lived in many beautiful areas, but without a doubt, Colorado will always be my home. Born in Leadville, living there until I was 11 years old, and relocated to Southern California, I would return every summer to bask in its mountains. As a Park Ranger, I was stationed at various places around the U. S., only to want to return to Colorado. Your video's reawaken that desire, and one day I dream of returning. Home Is where the heart is, and Colorado is and always will be home.
@@coloradonativeguide your content is stellar bro. That drone footage is sublime. I'm trying to get into videography as well. Documenting my explorations through beautiful CO
Thank You! I have found in your videos and postings the best way to plan my visit to Colorado. sincere thanks for your time and dedication on this process full of quality and visual information. I'll be going this summer to visit with my son 19 and daughter 12. thanks again, very helpful material.
Beautiful footage, thank you for sharing. I want to visit in the Spring. When is the best time to go where I won’t encounter large crowds or Spring breakers? Also have the best Spring foliage and weather.
Thanks! Definitely not March, it is crazy busy here. Late May would be the best time or early June. There might be a little snow on the ground still, especially up high.. but a slower season for sure.
Love what you are doing here man keep making these great videos I'm a few states over in California been looking to move & make a trip to Colorado for a while now your videos are a big motivation to get out there & explore keep doing what you are doing
Thanks, yeah it is "Ryksvideos" in the future I'll be showing some beautiful footage of Colorado and Utah, but with a plot background to make it a little interesting as well
Hey dude! I have been watching your videos and they are stunning. I was wondering if I could hike with you as I live in Colorado and I am willing to explore it the way you do. Thanks
Beautiful scenery! Most of the shots were good but the video feels like it lacks passion. Some more shots that are longer and get more involved with the scenery would be awesome. Keep up the work man.
Also, with how many sunny days there are in Colorado, many of the shots would have been so much better on a sunny day...so they aren't so dark. Otherwise, good job!

That is perfect! I was tentatively planning for late May. I don’t mind the snow as long as the trees have leaves and maybe some wild flowers.
Yeah, it all depends on the season too.
starting at 00:47 where is that amazing place??
how did you fly in national parks? any tips?
I don't fly in national parks or designated wilderness areas, both places it is illegal. All the areas I fly In are forest service or BLM land
