The cartoon look is my fav, but i also didn't know I'd love this pull-apart style done in the cartoon look so much. You should try a black outline on some of those animal cakes you do, then see if you can give those a cartoon effect as well. Idk how it would look in reality, but it sounds like it would be too cute!
We've had cupcake cakes for our birthday parties in the family for the past 10/15 years. There's no mess, cutting, everyone gets their own without someone touching it, there's no waste and they're super cute! They're really popular in this area and for good reason!
