In my middle school, there was a teacher named Mr. Wilson. I’d help out in the office every now and then and when he’d come in, I’d say “HEY MR. WILSON!!!!” and every time he’d say “DENNIS!!!!!” 😄😄. He’d do that with just about every student who’d pull the Dennis the Menace card out lol. Ahhhh good times.
I remember watching this in the mid 90s as a kid. Today without any reason this melody jumped in to my mind and here iam. Remembering my childhood. Fascinating. Happy life everyone.
None of the other Dennis the Menace TV shows, not the live action classic or the 1993 series held a candle to this theme music. Every time I listened to the music in this intro as a kid, it always got me pumped for the show. It still does.
Had this melody stuck in my head intermittently for probably a year plus. I felt like it was from a cartoon from childhood, but could not place it. I went as far as to search cartoon theme songs several times to no avail. Then today, July 6, 2024, it just came to me and I finally found it. The relief is hard to adequately describe.
The saxophone kills this theme, omg I miss this cartoon show alot as a kid.Use to watch it alot on ABC in the mornings before going to pre school. This has a ton a ton of energy.Omg the saxophone is just bursting with excitement.
WOW! I google to look for this theme and out of left field someone posts a clean copy, much less a long, clean copy of this theme! To whoever posted this, you are a god!
@canonet17 It can be found on 30 Years Of Funtastic tv Toons CD now long out of print! the disc was released in Australia but sometimes pops up on Ebay. I have a copy. Far from cheap!🤗💽💵👍
I new it played that little middle bridge with the "doo doo", twice! It used to do it twice on the intro, but the intros on here only do it once. thought i was going nuts lol
I always hummed this tune in my head whenever a I was on a terrifying roller coaster. That’s how I was able to have fun while my friends shit themselves.

I started singing this out of the blue to my dog (Bobby the menace lol) and i was thinking "i know that time from somewhere... i didn't make it up". Boom, found it! Thanks childhood! And damn that sax is going hard!
Someday in the future, DHX Media should sell Dennis the Menace ( 1986 animated series) and All-New Dennis the Menace to Comcast and NBCUniversal Television Distribution. Since The Program Exchange is no longer around.
You know as I'm sitting down listening to this, the idea of putting Dennis The Menace in a fight with Bart Simpson came flowing through my mind as of right now.
