  • Welcome to Nyankoto Cat Café, where the cats are energetic, playful, and adorable. I visited the Shinjuku café in January of 2017 and was not at all disappointed. There are about 16 cats at the café who roam free. Each has a name and bio in the "catbook" that tells you about their breed, personality, and birthday. Every evening at 6pm the cats are fed, after which the lights are dimmed and the café takes on an evening atmosphere.
For those looking to visit, Nyankoto is located near Takadonababa Station in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and is open from 11am to 10pm. It's just 800 yen for the first hour and 200 yen for each fifteen minutes after that. While there, customers can enjoy unlimited drinks at no extra cost.
