      @@weedaz6413 if you think they were not partaking in some private parties of their own with ole Jim, then you're quite Ignorant, he was hanging around the palace often, and the idea that none of them knew? ridiculous, everyone who was anyone at the time knew what was going on with him, plus the crown has its own intelligence, they would undoubtedly have background reports on everyone they ever come into contact with.

    I really do love how bored he always seemed, especially when he got older.
    Unlike the Queen, who I am sure is equally bored but doesnt show it, he always tried to make things interesting form himself.

He was in his late 90s, the world was different then, not to mention being in the greatest colonist and he grew with different values.     He visited some island full of natives and they made shrines of him. Had a picture of them all together and a line of items he gave to them. They almost worshipped him. Whatever he did that was so generous to those people, they never forgot it and probably never will. RIP

      The Queen actually has quite a sense of humour herself. I’m sure they both made eachother laugh. The royal life can unfortunately be quite dull, especially for the older generation that is still so bound to protocol, so I think they’ve often developed a quick wit to keep themselves and all the dignitaries they have to speak to entertained.
