Just as a TINY hint. Find the book that says “kid wizard” on it, I won’t tell you exactly what you gotta do with it but look on the back of the book. This should help with unlocking the many secrets the games have to offer

She was so nice! Rented me a great game, made dinner, never forced me to stop playing, just a good mom. And then she went and died :(

Look at the window right after one of the levels right before the dpg watches you and you can see it taking something from your window seal.

I figured out who the dog is. The husband and the kid's dog had an affair. The person in the costume is deformed because of it so it wears a dog suit. The dog is the result of an affair
