My dad was a Commercial fisherman on the Mississippi River. We always used nets. I am living on a lake that doesn't allow nets. I think Buffalo is one of the best eating fish. So, I am going to try this.
Interesting video Josh 🎣👍. Have Never seen those loop knot tools, I tie mine old skhool 😊. I add a 3/4 inch of shrink tube , just sitting over the eye of the hook. Steam it up with a slight bend, Excellent for pop up & whaffer baits 👍.
Hi Josh, I purchased the loop tying tool and have to admit I find it very user friendly. Regarding the tubing you use for the blow back rig, I have found the tubing rips when you get an aggressive take. Not a bad thing but I found I was changing and/or fixing rigs more than I wanted to while fishing. That said, I now use the metal rig rings and find them much more effective. They are a little more cumbersome to tie but once you have done a few its very easy. Tight lines!!!!!!
Sounds like you may have been using shrink tubing. I use a rubber tubing I have yet to have any rip myself. When I used to use shrink tubing though it would rip constantly
I started using blowback rigs last year but I was using the rig rings of the little chunks of silicone tubing. Which one works better the silicone or the rings?
I need some of these
Excellent video!
I love it when people make my life easier.
Nice lighting and setup in this video.
Thank you
Nice hair rig

Keeps the hair in place you can also move it up or down on the hook and slightly change the length of the hair
