That Spanish music at the beginning of the video and all the talk of hot boxes has me thinking about making a run to to TJ. 😉😂😂 Excellent repair video!!!
Return of winter.. It's too early for it to have left us here in AZ. We had snow on the ground in the city this morning. Rare, but not unheard of here. We had enough snow on the ground to build snowmen and have snowball fights all day the middle of April 1971. Ol' man winter often doesn't release his grip on us until late April. February and March are usually our coldest months. Great video..
I have a customer that just approved a compressor and evap coil on a T-49 that's from 1994. Never been opened up, looks like only repair was a condenser fan motor.
Great video, but one detail So wash condenser, checked cap tubes, did recovery changed condenser filter drier and then you found a leak in Evap. What was point to do all of that if you think they will change a box ???
because they want cold drinks, until it's repaired or replaced? not like they can blink an eye or wave a magic wand and have a new cooler or the parts for repair..
You said recovery would be the fastest. What I personally do is weigh in charge and if I am near factory charge and I'm still pulling into a vacuum then the system is restrictive. I just want to know how you feel about this method?
Shame, that was a lot of work for a cooler that's gonna be scrapped soon. I remember the days when evap coils was the last place on a system that would leak, seems like nowadays they're made to last a few years and no longer. Just for interest what leak detector were you using?
Hi bro from west Alabama
It is gratifying to see the overworked 134a break free to wander among the clouds.
That’s going to be called the “ NorCal gas and go special”
Customer getting their money worth for sure
Awesome little lunch break video, next stop is an iced up coilititis. Wish me luck haha

That's what i do also. The gauges let you know real quick if it's restricted or low on charge.
