Excited that you got the Sage! Not sure if you had an espresso machine before, but dialling in can be quite hard. It took me some time as well. Just make sure to get some beans from a roaster and not from a supermarket. And the easiest way to fine tune things is with first dropping 2/3 beans in, grind them and make sure it almost looks like powder instead of sand. That is a good starting point. I get my beans at LeRine in Deventer, but you're going a lot to Amsterdam, you have some good roasters there as well! Have fun with your coffee machine and hope the tips help!
