Delaying periods for a week. What I would like to tell is my patients delaying periods usually have to use hormones and we have to try to mimic the hormones of the body and try to change the hormonal milieu inside the body by which you can fool the body telling that there is still hormone left. So that there will be no falling down of hormones which will give rise to periods. So for delaying periods they usually use hormones. Most commonly used is progesterone. So different types of progesterone we use. But what I would like to advise all of you is unnecessarily don't delay your periods because once you damage your pituitary hypothalamus and all those full access the body will get confused. So it's better always to go along with the nature's way of getting your normal cycles. So if you want to delay your cycles, better to meet your doctor and take the safest way forward. So most commonly what we use is different types of progesterones for postponing the periods and once the postpone date is over then once you withdraw that hormone then naturally you will have your periods. So what I would like to tell is as far as possible don't delay your periods on your own because on the long run it will damage your hormone system and give rise to problems in the future.

If I delay periods this month by a week, will it delay the rest of the cycles? For example if I delay my periods until July 1, will I get my next period on august 1, if I am generally on a 30day cycle?

You'll get your next periods after 28 days or desired days according to your cycle so, yes it delays the rest of the periods too.

Coz I've been having on 3rd/4th/5th after it delayed on April and came of May 4th

I am facing spotting issue before period. Every mth 5 days spotting and then period comes. So period cycle is of 25 days and spotting is 21 days. For ex if period has comes on 1st of this mth then after 21 days spotting will start and then after 5 days period so 25th period will start. Can I use primulut n medicine to delay spotting for festival and attending pooja. My age is 48

I use premolute n for delaying periods. Whenever u get first spot start eating jeera and ajwain boiled water twice a day if u don't got yr period take 2 nd day also u got yr period smoothly. Every month you do this it is safe process

Try a womb tea
Make kada of ginger 1 spoon ajwain and suanf 1/1 spoon and blend these two then add 1 spoon turmeric and 1 spoon honey in 1 glass water
And boil until it becomes half glass of water and take it next day u get periods and don't take it after 3 days.

Can I take this after my expecting date like my periods should start by 18 but they haven't now so should I take those pills ?
@@velvet._.edit.07 I would not recomend taking them in general, I was not very smart back then. I took them just to rule out pregnancy and as a result they helped me to get pregnant....My son has genetical disorder now. Maybe not related, maybe related. If your periods are not coming for long time just use a pregnancy test. If you don't want babies use contraception if you want babies and you are pregnant - congratulations. Do not play with hormonal pills let doctors do their job. If you have periods with a lot of delay ( more than 5 days) - talk to your doctor. Check your health. It can be a lot of factors, inflamation, stress, disfunction of other organs.
