I think it would be cool if “friendly characters” would maybe say hi or something like that when passing yandere Chan every once in a while and talking back to them could boost your reputation and ignoring them the opposite. The students wouldn’t actively seek out Yandere Chan just passing by. I think it would allow the player to feel more immersed in the social aspects of the game. (Note: it doesn’t need to happen every time you pass certain players, just randomly with a select group of characters with friendly personalities)
i think it'd be a cool obstacle too. you're trying to get somewhere but there's this student who you used previously for gains now getting in your way.
We need more options to do with students after you befriend them. Like hanging out or eating lunch together or something. Not sure how it would help in terms of gameplay but maybe becoming closer friends would get them to do higher level tasks for you. Maybe stuff that's more nefarious like lying for you or distracting a teacher or luring a student to a specific location for you. It could even be something like stealing an item or setting up a water bucket trap depending on the student.
I think there should only be a timer when a student is following Ayano if she has a low reputation. It was a cool idea to add a timer but now it should either be changed or at least be made so Ayano doesn't need to ask the student multiple times to get to a far away destination.
Actually, That might Fit in, In Ayanos backstory, she always said how she pretended to have hobbies and feelings, but we have seen no proof of her "Fake Hobbies"
I think the "Orientation Day" would work as a great Tutorial! The game needts something like that becouse a new player cant choose a way to elliminate a rivel without knowing even the basics. Even hitman which I know is a big inspiration for the game has a tutorial mission. Also I think there is a better way to teach the player the "hints". I think the "press a key to see a hint" is a great start however I think it can be improved by adding a short video (5-10 sec) that shows how the mechanic works, vor example the video for the student council members would show that if you walk neer them with a weapon they will apprehand you. This video could be in the place of the Image in the hint window. It could play once automatically and then stop but the player could start it again by pressing a button. The text should still stay on the side in case the player wants too read the hint with some additional information.
I would think that during orientation the student council would introduce themselves and explain their role at the school and how they have pepper spray, and maybe other things.
I feel like that should be the perk of one the clubs, personally I would say it should be the perk of the Journalism club that it makes the most sense to me
Yandere sim probably just needs a whole ass map where the little interactions, scripted events, and side quests could show instead of stuff on the phone, the map of course can be pulled up on the phone
There is one thing in the game that annoys me a lot - Drowning someone in the restrooms No one ever enters the restrooms, you can kill someone or hide a corpse there without worrying that he body could be found. They are safezones for the player. It could be changed with something like this: Every restroom should be activly used by the students. For example, if Kokona has to go to the toilet, Saki would go with her and wait for her outside. If you kill Kokona inside, Saki would get worried after a while because her friend is not comming back, so she would go check on her and discover the corpse. I would love to see this with every restroom in the school, because right you can kill someone there without any consequense :)
At lunchtime, there are some people in the bathroom. But during classtime…They never really go there, and if they do,it’s to either talk or to clean the bathroom during cleaning time.

I agree! Info-chan could totally have like hacked peoples phones and compiled information on who they hang out with when. And a reminder for the events would be clever, like Yan-Chan has a smart phone and sets reminders about notable things. And yeah, I ask peoples opinions on things all the time, but I think there should be a limit to how many times you can ask about opinions in a day, since people would think you were weird if you went up to them and asked about their opinions on literally everything. like a penalty of a reputation decrease should be enacted if you get too nosy
It makes more sense that Info Chan text Yan Chan because she’s already helping her and Info Chan knows about the students already, so it makes more logical sense, I mean if you were doing what she was doing wouldn’t it make more sense from a text message than a random alert that pops up out of nowhere?

He even sounds happier in spite of the constructive criticism (however negative I'm sure it may have been written towards him/the game) because he recognizes that these changes have improved the game for future players. I remember how overwhelmed and frustrated he would get with everyone's emails/feedback/suggestions in the past, so I see this as a big personal development for him. Glad to hear you’re taking feedback dude, ur actually showing growth and as someone who has been following this game development for so long it means a lot.
Ooh, plot twist ending! Info-chan was using Yan-chan so that Info-chan could eventually kidnap Senpai to have for herself and then Yan-chan has to go and rescue Senpai and fight Info-chan to the death and Senpai will admire his saviour.
i think it'd be even cooler if it was this entire time that info chan was using you to get rid of the rivals so she could be with senpai and then she wants to get rid of you so the final week would be a mission mode like week where you're trying to survive from while trying to kill info chan. you do see her stalking senpai at the end of the demo which is weird for someone who only told you because she just didn't like osana (which had no real reason to that by the way) to be stalking someone who she considers is safe for her client to get to now unless it was for herself.
A recommendation is that some of the more constant scripted events like Osana and Senpai going to school together might be something Yandere-chan would know or write down on a reminder note on her wall, like 'Senpai walks to school at (time) each morning with Osana' and she would know that because she follows him every day and people playing would wonder why that info is there and find the cutscene each morning.
I automatically thought about the social media platform for learning students likes and dislikes For example someone posts a picture of a cat with a caption saying how cute they are or something along those lines and the information is collected
That is a great idea. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, the very idea that Ayano could access the Internet from her room seems to be somewhat forgotten at this stage ...
Ooh cool, I'm glad to be back after a long while! I can't wait to try things out! Input: Love the idea of an orientation day, but please make it entirely skip-able, and so that you can engage in learning some bits without being forced to participate in the whole tutorial day... I would love a whole day to just explore! But on the other hand, please keep the readable guide in some form. I'd like to have tutorial info readily accessible in a simple readable format. Sometimes it feels more tedious to engage in event tutorials than to be able to simply read. I would quite like a library of sorts with a collection of different info from different readable materials. There could be a script of the play from orientation, where info on murder methods are casually interspersed in dialogue, but highlighted for convenience. Another readable material should be a school rules & info document! This could include sections on classes, clubs, the student body, a map, and of course- school rules (and what happens if you break them?) If yan-chan wants to add notes-to-self on these documents, that'd be cool too. Actually, in addition to the orientation day, it would be nice to have a freeplay mode.... just for wandering and messing around... anyways, thanks for listening to our input!
How about this: The table that will tell the player where and how the events will take place will open gradually. How? Thanks to info-chan who can notify Ayano of an event that starts in a couple of minutes. She's a hacker who knows everything about everyone, so it won't be a problem for her to find out about a secret meeting of students.
возможно, сначала нужно будет расставить камеры, тогда в этом будет больше смысла perhaps you will first need to arrange the cameras, then it will make more sense
Then it should be filled day by day, even Info-chan does not know far ahead into the future most of the time (perhaps school related events, but other than that not much).
This is what I thought of, or like she gets a text that just shows up on the player's screen and doesn't stop you from what you're doing just in case it's precarious
@@DusKnight7th | Considering all the shit Info-Chan can dig up, I imagine she'd would've figuratively done her homework to be able to accurately predict these events.
Isn’t it kinda strange though that like, I mean, imagine reading a book in a library and then a schoolmate of yours just randomly comes up and states “Osana Najimi hates reading.” Like um okay sure. Maybe it would be better if there were first small talks or somethin idk it just seems unnatural I guess...
Maybe we can talk to students in the school and gather some information about osana what she likes and dislikes and if she has any allergies and then maybe we have an advantage of that
Yes, maybe they could wait for her to finish the book, then comment on the book and then state it. Like "omg you're reading x? I love their work! I tried talking to Osana about it, but apparently she just hates reading..."
Great improvements. But I feel like being able to gossip about your rival and lower their reputation that much with no negative repercussions is wayyyy to easy. I think there should be a feature where your reputation can be lowered as well for gossiping too much or spreading false rumors.
Just Imagine this: "oh cool cutscene" "oh my im home" "oh boy im going to school" "oh what the heck is this tutorial popup im disabling it" "oh my god what the heck do i do i don't know what im suppose to do"
One thing I would love to see is for Senpai's reactions to various elimination methods change depending on his opinion of her. For example, not have him quite as depressed if Osana gets a boyfriend if you also made him dislike her. I could see him instead being sad because they're drifting apart.
I personally believe reputation should be more difficult to get up,and if your reputation is low, senpai and other students actively avoid you, instead of treating you semi-normally. Orientation would be a good way to learn a students likes and dislikes, like us seeing students looking at clubs to join,as well as give us an opportunity to just get to know students with no classes or events to get in the way. With the new conversation feature, maybe if youre in a club and talks to someone who doesnt like said club, you dont get any sort of boost. Idk,these are more just sort of rambly thoughts than anything else :)
Not gonna lie, i dont like the new hints system. Something I really appreciate in a game is a clean UI, without waypoints, compasses, minimaps or pop ups. This one seems like a good solution for the "player feeling lost", but for me it pollutes the screen with more information one has to stop and read. Another solution could be gossip. For example, the first time Osana is going to speak with Senpai, other students see them as they pass by, and might start talking about it loud enough for the player to listen. Then players would have to go there and hear it for themselves. This could also add fake gossiping, like "i heard Osana would wait for Senpai at the infirmary after class today", but that never happens. It would make the game much more intuitive, and feel like a real school.
That text message feature really makes me think that the schedule isn't of Yandere chan's doing but info chan gave it to her and info chan is just really helpful
9:27 Yandere chan walks up to a student to chat to them YC: “Hey! I really hate socialising!” Supana: “... but... you just walked up to me to chat... that’s the definition of socialising...” YC: “... frick.”
An elimination method for Osana is locking her in the hedge maze. 1) Get rid of Raibaru 2) Do Osanas task 3) Make sure your reputation is high 4) Tranquilize Osana in the kidnapping room 5) Get the hedgemaze key 6) Bring Osana to the hedgemaze 7) Leave the hedgemaze and lock it 8) Burn the hedgemaze key 9) Rival eliminated! I thought of this because she hates the hedgemaze because it’s scary. She will never be able to find her way out and she will die there
I hope I'm not the only one who says at the same time with Yandere dev in every end of all of his videos: "Thank you for following the development of Yandere Simulator"
It is so nice to hear how Yandere Dev’s voice became happier then it was just not so long ago. I’m just glad that he is doing ok after all those rumors and problems
Did you know that it was planned to be included rather early in Yandere Simulator's development: ua-cam.com/video/oOeowcZlI48/v-deo.html? I'm glad it was included, now the socialization in Yandere Simulator is less straight-forward.
I think it’d be cool if you could get a specific pill from Info-Chan that can make you talk to senpai without freaking out so you can complete tasks and build a friendship so then it’s more likely that he’ll accept your confession It’s just an idea but I hope you like it :D
Here is a small idea: You said when you introduced the bullies, that they are trustworthy so if they see you Misbehave, your Reputation would take a bigger hit, and when they should be doing their Cleaning Duties, they sneak into the Bathroom and chat about the latest rumors/Gossip, so wouldn't it kinda Make sense that if you Gossip with them, the person you Gossipped about would lose more Reputation? (Just Don't overdo it.)
If he adds a map guide in the corner of the screen like those rpg games like genshin impact, it would be easy for some people to roam around more or look for certain areas to explore
YandereDev, when he talks about how we learn a students opinion: "If you want to know all the students opinions, you need to do a bit of work!" The easy cyberstalk feature on Ayano´s computer: Am I a joke to you?
Oh that's true! She could learn the opinions of everyone though the internet. Maybe the "dragging a student arround the school" feature could work with students who don't like being online (like kuu dere or the ocult club).
i feel like it'd be strange for yan-chan just walk up to random people to talk to them about their likes and dislikes and get away unscathed. the other students would see her interact quite a lot, so maybe there could be a point where if you talk to enough people, the other students start expecting you to be social, and if you suddenly stop socializing, some students approach you sometime to ask you if you're alright, and if you respond accordingly, you gain trust or something, and the students' concern could pose as an obstacle when you're about to do some suspicious stuff. maybe if the student catches you doing suspicious things, they watch you from a corner for a moment before walking away, deciding not to ask you about your behavior, but allowing the student to walk away with their suspicions would result kn a loss of reputation because the student shared their concerns with their friends. maybe that change could be shown on that persona 5-inspired idea with aimless chatter being made known to you before you start your day.
WOO! New video! XD I wasn't sure about Yandere-chan having an ability to see events like that, but seeing it come from info-chan, it makes sense. Info-chan knows everything lol I think that was my problem too, trying to figure out what to do. Also I'm not sure how I feel about the step by step schemes but I can see how they are important. I guess im conflicted about weather I want to figure things out myself or be more guided lol.
Regarding the Tutorial windows I would recommend having them as an overlay that is open while you can still move. I could imagine it being put at the left side of the screen with a gradient background, this would maybe be better than completely interrupting gameplay.
This is basically just him flexing about the changes he made. I know that feeling. When you are making a game and you are really proud of your code/current progress, you just wanna share it with everybody! Lemme just say that he enjoyed making this video.

as someone who followed the development since 2015, it makes me so happy that you're finally showing growth and take criticism to heart now, hella proud of you man! :)
the game has had so many updates since then I love it
Since 2014💅🏻✨
Hah me too, very good to still being happy with this
I hope this keeps up.
i know right i was happy to see that since that's important both for the game and for his mental heath since i herd he used to get really mad about that stuff which is not good for his health or the game so we get so see the game be as fun as it can be as he also grows as a person it is honestly lovely

@yui chan GODDAMMIT WOULD YOU PEOPLE STOP SAYING THAT!?!!?
I hope the game ends with Yandere-chan "getting rid" of Info-chan because she knows too much.
Info-Chan as the secret Superboss? Now THAT would be amazing
@@WH40KHero that was a idea but YanDev discarted it because it was too obvious lol
I’ve always thought and still kinda believe that Info-Chan would/will end Ayano.
*Clicks Socialize*
"Hi Supana! I really hate socializing!"
I'm glad to be *following the development of Yandere Simulator* this game just grown so much!😊

Working hard on improving the demo!
Yea here he been
working?
Probably fixing the game or adding more things. Making a game takes up a lot of time and work. Even if he didn't though, he deserves a break.
I automatically thought about the social media platform for learning students likes and dislikes
For example someone posts a picture of a cat with a caption saying how cute they are or something along those lines and the information is collected
That is a great idea. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, the very idea that Ayano could access the Internet from her room seems to be somewhat forgotten at this stage ...
Its actually possible, Yan chan at night time can stalk other student's online. She just needs their picture
Ooo!
@@yuichitwong9629 yea
He seems a lot of happy today.
Ooh cool, I'm glad to be back after a long while! I can't wait to try things out!
Input:
Love the idea of an orientation day, but please make it entirely skip-able, and so that you can engage in learning some bits without being forced to participate in the whole tutorial day...
Actually, in addition to the orientation day, it would be nice to have a freeplay mode.... just for wandering and messing around... anyways, thanks for listening to our input!
a readable format like sims 3 perhaps?
Mucho texto
How about this:
The table that will tell the player where and how the events will take place will open gradually. How? Thanks to info-chan who can notify Ayano of an event that starts in a couple of minutes. She's a hacker who knows everything about everyone, so it won't be a problem for her to find out about a secret meeting of students.
возможно, сначала нужно будет расставить камеры, тогда в этом будет больше смысла
perhaps you will first need to arrange the cameras, then it will make more sense
Maybe we can talk to students in the school and gather some information about osana what she likes and dislikes and if she has any allergies and then maybe we have an advantage of that
"hey there i see you're reading theres this bitch who hates reading now spread it"
Nice profile
Well it is called gossip so I feel like what the game says is more strait forward than what “in game ayano” said
Yes, maybe they could wait for her to finish the book, then comment on the book and then state it.
Dont make the game too hard its only the first rival
Ayano: Osana hates reading.

I mean, you can disable hints using a button
Just disable the hints
Simple
a disable hints button would solve all your problems

Omg cute profile!
I hope you really finish this game considering all that’s happened.
Gosh Yandere Dev it’s been so long I did NOT expect this now
An elimination method for Osana is locking her in the hedge maze.
1) Get rid of Raibaru
2) Do Osanas task
3) Make sure your reputation is high
4) Tranquilize Osana in the kidnapping room
5) Get the hedgemaze key
6) Bring Osana to the hedgemaze
7) Leave the hedgemaze and lock it
8) Burn the hedgemaze key
9) Rival eliminated!
I thought of this because she hates the hedgemaze because it’s scary. She will never be able to find her way out and she will die there
He uploaded finally :''")
That’s actually a great improvement to the compliment system! Good job
Did you know that it was planned to be included rather early in Yandere Simulator's development: ua-cam.com/video/oOeowcZlI48/v-deo.html? I'm glad it was included, now the socialization in Yandere Simulator is less straight-forward.
Yandere Dev: *mentions LOZ*
Me: "OH YEAH!!!"
I think it’d be cool if you could get a specific pill from Info-Chan that can make you talk to senpai without freaking out so you can complete tasks and build a friendship so then it’s more likely that he’ll accept your confession
It’s just an idea but I hope you like it :D
I like that you're fixing all the flaws unlike some other people who just keep em in
Here is a small idea: You said when you introduced the bullies, that they are trustworthy so if they see you Misbehave, your Reputation would take a bigger hit, and when they should be doing their Cleaning Duties, they sneak into the Bathroom and chat about the latest rumors/Gossip, so wouldn't it kinda Make sense that if you Gossip with them, the person you Gossipped about would lose more Reputation? (Just Don't overdo it.)
I think that's already a feature of the game.
If he adds a map guide in the corner of the screen like those rpg games like genshin impact, it would be easy for some people to roam around more or look for certain areas to explore
YandereDev, when he talks about how we learn a students opinion:
"If you want to know all the students opinions, you need to do a bit of work!"
The easy cyberstalk feature on Ayano´s computer:
Am I a joke to you?
Oh that's true! She could learn the opinions of everyone though the internet. Maybe the "dragging a student arround the school" feature could work with students who don't like being online (like kuu dere or the ocult club).
Shhhh don't say or he'll remove it 😔🤫
Keep in mind it only works on one student at a time and locks you out of other Night actions for that night. _(Wait,_ is _that how it works?)_
It’s nice to hear your voice again Yandere Dev 😊🥳
I'm proud of you, Yanderedev.
Me: *happy he is happy about feedback *
Also me: *exists in his discord and said things I liked and recommend for the game *
I really like the idea of Someone from the drama club asking you to help them practice
i feel like it'd be strange for yan-chan just walk up to random people to talk to them about their likes and dislikes and get away unscathed. the other students would see her interact quite a lot, so maybe there could be a point where if you talk to enough people, the other students start expecting you to be social, and if you suddenly stop socializing, some students approach you sometime to ask you if you're alright, and if you respond accordingly, you gain trust or something, and the students' concern could pose as an obstacle when you're about to do some suspicious stuff.
maybe if the student catches you doing suspicious things, they watch you from a corner for a moment before walking away, deciding not to ask you about your behavior, but allowing the student to walk away with their suspicions would result kn a loss of reputation because the student shared their concerns with their friends. maybe that change could be shown on that persona 5-inspired idea with aimless chatter being made known to you before you start your day.
His voice sounds so fast than usual

First 2000 days from Luke and now Yandere Dev updates! Best day ever!

*Ah I see you are a person of culture as well*
Hey Yandere Dev, I just wanted to say thank you for working on the demo more and stuff, also don't push yourself too hard❤
WOO! New video! XD
I wasn't sure about Yandere-chan having an ability to see events like that, but seeing it come from info-chan, it makes sense. Info-chan knows everything lol
I think that was my problem too, trying to figure out what to do.
Hey!
