I learned about Michael Franti from my 9yo grandson. My son took him to a concert and I was very curious about a concert for a 9yo. I listened and was blown away. Positivity and hope and joy in the face of difficulty.

As a side-hustle, I actually worked the first half of this show for our local venue/events company to earn some extra vacation money when Michael and Spearhead were in Iowa this summer. I ended up volunteering for the end of the concert because it was SOOOO amazing!!!!! It was definitely “the right words is the right time” for me. Anytime I’m struggling or I have friends/family that are, I just send one of their amazing songs along or open my car windows and BLAST it full volume until I’m dancing or smiling. I think I told 100 people about the songs in the concert!! I’m a FAN for LIFE now❤ I don’t know how I have lived without this music in my life before “discovering” the Franti sound and vibe. (Apparently my adult kids say I’m also an evangelist for the music now, too❣️❣️❣️ 😁 PROUD to be one! 😊👏❤)
