      I always just used dodge and burn to do what he showed, but the overlay method looks cool too because now I need only one instrument for that :)

    Painting in Overlay on the mask - I remember now you had mentioned this in another video, but how quick I forget when learning so many different things from your tutorials. Brilliant and thanks for remind me again of this technique. Game changer.

    Quit being so awesome or you'll get me fired. When I saw that you could group a layer to add an additional layer mask, I impulsively shouted "Oh, fuck yeah!" Strange looks from my coworkers ensued. 10/10 would do it again.

    Hi Aaron,
    When you select the colour range the image does not show me the mask on the actual window as it shows in the colour range dialogue box. Can you please help me understand how to get that.

    Another fabulous and helpful video.
    I love the way the blue eye shadow shows up under the dip of pink hair, like it was shot that way in the first place. Splendid!
    On another note, I was a little surprised at your use of the brush size/hardness panel rather than your usual Option+Control+Drag method.
    I was also wondering why you would drag a layer down to the New Layer icon rather than doing Command+J.
    After all, I learned the 1st from you, and thought the 2nd was fairly common-use.
    Anyway, thanks again, not only for your more heavy-duty pay-per-view videos, but as well for these short, skills-honing tutorials.
    Yours are my absolute favourite PS tutorials.

    i'm asked so many times for a tutorial to do the same thing but on subjects originally black or white. A white shirt oy dress ie
    It seems the hue saturation behaviour is not the same on colors like black or white
