  • Welcome back to the channel! Today's video features just a few trails out here at Evolution Bike Park here in Crested Butte, CO. The weather was absolutely perfect to get some laps out here but the trail conditions were pretty dusty and loose. This day a lot of the trails were closed for some reason so I was limited to only riding a few. Also during the whole day my rear tire kept losing air ever so slightly. So throughout the video you will hear some tires burping and rim dingers. I eventually figured out it was a tire plug from last year that was starting to leak causing the loss of air. None the less the time spent out here was killer and it's one of my favorite places to visit in Crested Butte. I kept the ride footage pretty raw with no music so you can simply enjoy the ride.
Next week I will be putting out a trail ride from Telluride and the week after that a video from that bike park!

Props to actually filming the whole trail. Most folks cut the video up so you really cannot tell what the whole experience is like. Your Telluride video was sick!

Nice! I had plans to ride the park when I was in CB his summer but weather and equipment failures kept me away. Looks like I missed out! How did it compare to the park in Telluride?

Dang that's a bummer! Next time! The parks are a bit diffrent in a sense of the types of trails. Telluride is more smooth, flowy and way more jumps and also longer runs. Telluride had a flow trail that was 2.5 miles long! CB is more rough and technical than flowly. The park does have jump lines but didn't get a chance to really check them out. I have a video coming out In few weeks on Telluride BP!

Wow. That place looks amazing. Some rough trails though. You know you've ridden it a few times when you can say ( I always get dust in my eyes at this point). 😁. You must live near there?

The trails were a bit rough but so much fun! I rode that trail at least 5 or 6 times! I wish I did!

At the bike park not too much. But going on a trail ride...different story. The lack of air can really effect how the enjoyment of a ride. By the end of my 2nd week here I was just starting to get use to the elevation.

Enjoy and appreciate you and others having videos to post throughout winter but damn this makes me miss riding. Just another few months before dirt season...right?!
