great how too, I have the same problem with the horn and also the cheap eBay one makes a noise when you turn the steering wheel, I have asked the seller for a replacement but I'm guessing it will still have the same issue, I might look for a scrap yard one..
Great video, had to do this when I first bought my car to get it through the mot. Getting that clip to release was definitely the hardest part, what a bitch. Need to replace my wiper/light stalks so was just refreshing my memory.

Did you return the steering wheel the right way around after you got the airbag off? So when re installing it is the correct way around.
Black extra plug is for cars equiped with cruise control.

hi mine has the brass pins there but not one enter the plug. I remove the plug makes no difference. I also have an air bag light.
Maybe a different problem then
With the pins on the back where the horn wire goes in, could you not just put the prongs out of the way?
Don't think so, need the correct clock spring so the wiring matches your car

Yeah the eBay jobby was noisy as well... cheap plastic. Scrapyard or find someone breaking a car on eBay 👍

You do not need to remove steering to replace stalks, save you your hands and fingers!
