I'd love to hear you play with an upright bass player, to hold the groove, freeing you up from that stride style and block chords, freeing your left hand to insert some color and improv responses to your vocal on the right hand. You can even play substitutions with the left hand and still appeal to the pop audience who love these standards and a jazz audience that don't mind having their ears stretch. Jacob Collier kept the vibe and essence of Lionel Richies "All Night Long" while singing over very complex harmonies. Kept the groove and vibe at the same time. You are extremely talented wtih innate musical sensibilities and you have command over harmonic and melodic and rhythmic language as well as teach very well. Your vocal phrasing is stunning. I think you can "stretch" the boundaries a little more and gain wider recognition.
