The night this was taped Lzzy was sick but she's a trooper and pushes through when ever she can. You should Hear her when she's at 100%. They do a cover EP of 6 songs in between their studio recordings. Check out some of their original songs(Live is the best, They are a live band. No prerecorded tracks or click tracks) Check out "Love Bites(So Do I)" they won the Grammy for that in the Hard rock & metal preformance category & where the first Female fronted band to win it. Also check out "I Miss the Missery" from Download, She does a scream at the beginning that will blow your socks off. Oh and Lzzy doesn't smoke & never has. Her & her little brother started the band in 1996 when she was 13 & he was 10 so they never picked up smoking because they both new it would spoil their Vocals.
stumbled across you guys, probably best reaction channel ive seen, really nice job. as for halestorm, appears no one has heard of them before, even though they ve been around for so long, won a grammy, their drummer, who is the leads brother, won best drummer in usa. it really buffles me how people dont know about them, Lzzy has an incredible voice, and as you sadi this is definetely not an easy song to pull off, especially live, after jamming for over an hour. Theyve done a couple pop song covers,my favourite is definetely "Get lucky", you should check that out! edit:you should definetely check miss dorothy martin, just a pure rock/country voice. Reminds a lot of the singer from jefferson airplane, promise youl love her!
There's a lot great musicians out there. Lamestream Radio just doesn't want to promote them. IMO for 2 reasons. Can't rob them blind because they (artists) are independent and keep control of they're material. 2. Might expose the lack of talent of those they do promote. Example, Larkin Poe. Find them all day on YT. Couldn't tell you the last time I heard a Toby Keith song on the radio. Or Chris Stapleton. Or Jamey Johnson. Hank JR. Willie, who does have a new song out or the one he did with Merle, another who gets disrespected, just before he died. Cash? They tried so hard to kill his career and damn near succeeded. Waylon was another. After Rose in Paradise, where'd he go?
Found your channel today thanks to the youtube algorithm, probably because of Ningen Isu. I looked around and found a few new groups I didn't know and was reminded of other stuff I've not listened to for ages, so I have you guys to thank for getting me back into listening to music again. Here's a couple of bands and songs you can try. Seikima II - Mansion of Wax Dolls, I think most people just call it House of Wax, you can just use 聖飢魔Ⅱ 蝋人形の館 Japanese, will probably remind most people of KISS Polysics - Electric Surfin' Go Go Japanese, Devo-inspired, very upbeat Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Thunderclap Japanese, has growling, electronic and voice modification. TWRP - Atomic Karate Canadian, also electronic, voice modification Teräsbetoni - Taivas Lyö Tulta Finnish power metal
Favourite tune from Whitesnake with the greatest riffs ever created by John Sykes. Nice job done by these folks, and quite interesting to hear this tune sung from a female perspective. And as for the requests below for some Babymetal. 2 simple words: PLEASE DON'T!!!!
And Doug, since you mentioned them, how 'bout reacting to some old school RAWK jams from the sacred likes of Quarterflash (Lady Sax -Playin' Singer!!) and Pat Benatar?!?
Gee, must have missed that Dickens'-influenced version, myself! More of a fan of that imaginary David Coverversion remix with that now-dead chipmunk-cheeked , Canadian magician turned hard rock musician Doug Henning on bass!! Bonus points for your handle, though; great, underrated tune from Zakk's first album with Ozzy...
@@averyteplitsky885 i am not saying it bad. You can hear in her voice on some parts. If she just let it flow in her normal voice i think it would rock. Damm auto correct shit.
@@TheWw29 Agreed, very difficult song to sing, and even the sainted Mr. Coverdale is no longer able to reach his former great vocal peak summit on that particular tune, greatest rock riff of all time, IMHO! Aging sucks big time...
And she was sick then, she still sounds incredible🥺

Queen Lzzy the woman is amazing. She formed the band in 1999 when she was 13.
Lzzy screams like no other 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I love live Halestorm live.
I think she did about as good a cover as anyone could on this song. Her cover of Bad Romance is much better than the original.
I'm late AF, but I totally agree. Im not a fan of the original Bad Romance, but Halestorm's cover is amazing. Way better than the original for me
Halestorm cover of dissident aggressor is awesome best Judas Priest cover I've ever heard.
If you guys liked this you should check out ‘damn rock n roll’ by Eric church ft Lzzy hale

Lzzy must have a cold or something. Her voice doesn't sound as usual.
She trying to hard to copy david Coverdale voice in the song

Yes, Lzzy certainly performed quite the illusion there. And to this day, nobody knows what became of the rabbit.

Generic and boring. Both the song and Halestorm. (Just my opinion. :-))
Shockingly bad opinion, just my opinion 😂
@@rossmudie9298 We disagree. That's fine. ;-)
