The AMAZING oak tree was the highlight of this fantastic trail. So peaceful there as well, just a beautiful day my friend. Appreciate you sharing these moments with us 😊🌲
The Oak was huge, and a great surprise to come across on this trail. Park of this park was burned during the California fires. Glad this area didn't burn, it would have been a great lose to loose this tree. Have a great weekend Natureman.
Yes, I enjoyed it to. Going in and out of the trees and into meadows. Toughest part was the first half miles going up that hill. have a wonderful weekend.
Love the blue, blue skies in this video. You really do have amazing places to hike and enjoy awesome nature. I sometimes miss the smell of Ponderosas baking in the sun. Thanks so much for sharing friend. 👍 ~ Kristine
It was really steep in the first have and and then started to tapper off some. Definitely gave my ankles a good stretch if I didn't walk on the balls of my feet. I think coming down was a bit harder trying to keep from speeding up. This would be a great trail to hike in spring when everything is green and blooming.
Thank you very much Renata. Hope things are looking better for you and Italy. Looks like we will have a vaccine available shortly, so hope the world can start getting back to a more normal state in the coming months. Have a great weekend.
Clearly, that ranger noticed you were in great shape to get all the way up to the monumnet! Amazing views, lovely trail, and no crowds. A keeper! Thanks so much for bringing us there Lance. Have a great weekend!
I was expecting to see Ben Cartwright Hoss and Little Jo.........Great trail and yep it sure was a beautiful sight. You sure hot on with great weather too and no wonder you were not complaining, cheers Alan
Funny you should say that, because I was expecting to see a cowboy come riding out of the trees at anytime. The weather was perfect for hiking that day. Not hot and not cold and clear sky's.
Thanks sis. That Oak Tree was huge and all its branches were almost to the ground. It was a pretty cool find that I was not expecting along this trail.
Yes, but not until I was up at the top. I came around a turn and it just hit me. had to stop for a while and just sniff. LOL. That Oak Tree has to be the biggest I have ever seen. have a great and wonderful weekend.
Looked like an extremely peaceful hike. Too bad no animals this time around. The weather looked wonderful as well. Thanks for sharing your adventure brother.
It was. It was really quiet at the top, just very peaceful. Yeah, no animals this time, but I did seem to hear ever rustle in the bushes there was that day.
Well I'm not all about hiking cliffs lol, but man what a view when you get to the top. That sure is beautiful and must have definitely made the strenuous hike worth it!
No. One group of ladies and that was it. This was the first weekend the park was opened after all the fires we had, so I dont think a lot of people realized it was open again, so lucky me. Have a great week Matt.
When I did this hike most of the park was still off limits, and only the area around the visitors center was open to the public. I could not see any areas that were burned. I believe most of the burn area is on the east back country side.
I actually got this picture from the Canva app. Searched for pictures of Henry Coe and found this one. I wish I was able to shot a photo that nice. I am sure there was some color grading going on in it to. Have a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful views of the valley !
Have a great upcoming weekend!

Looked like a nice quiet peaceful day in the hills👍🏼... did the trail have many people?
No. One group of ladies and that was it. This was the first weekend the park was opened after all the fires we had, so I dont think a lot of people realized it was open again, so lucky me. Have a great week Matt.
SCU lightning complex burned through there, so it would be interesting to see how it has recovered

Sounds like you were asking for trail advice from triathletes again 😂🤣
Yes, I think it was the same lady we got advice from at Black Diamonds, just disguised as a male park ranger.
@@adventureswithLK Tricky little buggers those triathletes 🤣
