@@archonmage2486 yep one run. But run changes shapes with each new "floor" because of the introduction of tricky new enemies.

@@why3994I feel like that’s an unfair comparison, Tyler actually plays the games that he gets sponsored from. Most people shill raid and talk about the latest hero and the rolls and the free silver or something and then get to their actual content.
Especially when the content isn’t gaming then obviously they’re not gonna play the game. I’m not defending raid just saying that it isn’t an equal comparison.
It would be AWESOME if this game gave you the option to replay the moves in each round at super high speed so it looks like a smooth fight.

A 43 minute video is an absolute blessing
Something I can recommend is using a mixture of the keyboard and mouse controls. It makes moving and attacking a bit more natural. At least, that's what I got used to playing with on the Itch demo.
And, my God, am I excited for this game. It's one of the few games on Itch that I've actually been following, and I am super excited to see it come out!

@Doom Maker well the game gives the option to play with either the keyboard or mouse alone due to all controls being on both. So you never know
The coolest thing for this game would be a fast replay of the battle after you win so you get to watch your guy just swapping dodging and killing guys like a badass

Imagine a game like this with the combat style of Yomi Hustle with a replay combat in full speed after every zone
I think all slow turn-based games like this should include a full speed replay. I really loved that in Katana Zero, just to see how badass your character really is.
I believe John Wick Hex did it aswell

So glad you’re playing this, it’s been one of my favorite rogue like strategy game pre release for over a year now
I have some thoughts:
1. You don't have to pick up dropped items, they are all collected after the fight ends.
2. You should plan ahead at least 4/5 turns, learn how the enemies act and learn to manipulate them. Don't waste moves you don't have to.
All in all, as someone who has 100% the Demo on steam, I would like to see more off this game on your chathis on your channel.

33:00 Wouldn’t Shockwave be pretty crazy with the shadow dash? You would effectively be hitting each enemy 2-3 times if you dash through enough of them
I'm not sure how it looks on your analytics but I absolutely would watch longer videos, especially with stuff like this, this game is really cool and the devs did a great job from what I can see
Oddly enough, this game reminds me of both Shotgun King and Ardor (if you remember playing Ardor, it was a while ago)

Posting on July 10, thanks for introducing this game to me Tyler, it's been 3 weeks since I've heard of it and i have 13 of the 24 achievements, 10/10 game.

6:00 You say you can't dash past the other guy because he attacks both ways, but if you had dashed past him, the spear attack from the other enemy would've killed him (that's why the order of enemy attacks was important)
Though I'm not sure if you can swap places with enemies you're not facing

Pretty sure the coins pick up automatically at the end of a round but it was fun watching Tyler scrounge for them nonetheless

I literally had this exact idea for a game, but they did it better. I wanted to make a game on seven tiles in a line where you could have different weapons and different moves that attack differently and do different things. Problem is, this is a 1v1. Players got into infinite loops and there wasn't a lot of strategy so much as basically playing rock, paper, scissors. This game executed it flawlessly, though, and I never considered having a turning mechanic, but that's really cool.
11:50 I still remember I made basically this same exact mistake when I was a kid playing original World of Warcraft, thinking Rogue's backstab would attack enemies behind me (until I noticed it wasn't working at all, lol).

I’m typically upset when I hear a game is sponsored because often that means the game isn’t going to be great. This time, however, I was not at all disappointed. Please continue playing this one!
i think tyler said at some point he only takes sponsors from games he enjoys
@@crazycanadian_ while that is true, sponsorships do incentivize being a bit more lenient with how much you “like” a game. If you’re on the fence on whether or not you like a game, a sponsorship may push you over the edge. idk. I feel like generally I liked the non-sponsored games more because Tyler has the most amount of freedom to choose the best possible game from every possible game

I've been looking forward to this game for months now.
Oh wow, I played this like a year ago on itch, and it is amazing how much this game has changed! The characters, designs, weapons, and even the map changed. You couldn't choose where you wanted to go after a battle before.
With this game, Can't live without electricity, Can of Wormholes and Paquerette down the Bunburrows, Tyler is sending me on a spending spree here.

Most sponsors: "RAID SHADOW LEGENDS!!"
The funny thing about that shield potion being called "kami brew" but not showing kanji means it could be hair brew, paper brew or god's brew.
Shogun and Ultimate Strategist fits Tyler pretty well.

Fun game! Only the prologue is available right now, but I got to have a really fun build where I picked up kunai and upgraded it to 5 damage, and got the combo shop so that when I get a combo kill with the kunai it resets the cooldown. Really OP and fun strat!

The statue looked pretty weak for you, but he kept doing ranged attacks for me, and I was slowly getting chipped away. I ended up dying to him
