So true about perfumes. We smell differently and it smells different on each person. I also find that sometimes when I turn my nose up at a scent it can to totally grow on me. Scents are powerful mental stuff.

I love YSL black opium for a vanilla coffee scent but it’s so strong that I either have to give myself a SINGLEEEE spray for daytime, or just save it for night. And I pretty much only wear it in the winter. Tried and true for me!!

Dude my friend bought the cafe oud mini, and she already has a lot of middle eastern perfumes with oud (and I’m Arab so I know oud lol). She had me smell it the other day and we both literally said grandma and old lady too LOLL. It’s NOT how oud is done!! So please don’t let that steer you away! Which is unfortunate bec Mona Kattan is middle eastern so she should know how oud is done well, but alas. I haven’t smelled the others in this collection but it’s so sad to see that I was right and it was disappointing ☹️
I def want to try other oud scents!!

I absolutely love Oud and so does my husband, I got him the Tobacco Oud and it smells divine! I haven’t smelled the others yet! 😊

Oud is definitely a very intense and polarizing scent. I probably would not recommend that anyone blind buy any fragrance that is oud focused
Although I do love sueded oud from Clean Reserve. It is a very light oud
I bought an 8 piece tester set from Kayali and hated every single one. They all smelt powdery and something my Nan would have worn.
Ugh sad but I agree a lot are powdery

Relatable re: blind buying, i always say im going to stop but ive only been burned once or twice so i keep doing it 😂 I bought the phlur amber haze in my sephora sale purchase and it smells exactly like a limited sol de janiero from last year im still working through, oops…😂

I do not understand refy hype. The blush is so bad i threw it out. The bronzer is orangey patchy and dry. The brush is extremely bad quality
