Gregs Vocals are OUTSTANDING and Troy sounds so raw and POWERFUL! Easily my favorite song on the album.

Max Cavalera never disappoints.
This is actually the only song in the album that Greg wrote entirely on his own, so it's kind of surprising how good it is, it might just be their best song ever and it was conceived by one person alone, incredible
Really speaks to how great of a song writer he is. He was gonna put it on a solo album but decided it needed more than him on it. Song is incredible.

How'd I miss them releasing an entire new album?! Oh right 2020, lol. We were occupied with other things. This is phenomenal stuff. Elements from every band but merged so well. Excellent arrangement.
This is not only their best song, this is seriously one of the best metal songs of all time. I've heard it 200 times since it's release and I'm still not tired of it.

That's because most "supergroups" tend to be watered down or unoriginal versions of the original groups. Killer Be Killed are redefining the term "supergroup".
I think I have burned this album up listening to it daily since release. One of the best 2020 has given. Looking forward to more from them.

The guitar solo towards the end of this song has got to be one of the most SOULFUL solos I’ve ever heard ❤️
Their mixing elements of doom, thrash, hardcore and punk makes it almost progressive to my ears, which is just great. C.C.'s artwork is also great as always.
Not surprising that it sounds almost progressive considering it has members from two of the best prog metal bands ever.

@@tarmotyyri6733 Mastodon and Dillinger were the bands he was referring to. I don’t really consider mastodon prog because they have very few prog elements but Dillinger Escape Plan is super prog-y.
@Mason each to their own but id say Mastodon are way more proggy than Dillinger. Dillinger are more metalcore than anything else. They do have prog elements just not as much as Mastodon imo

Absolutely, this track kicks some ass and is one of my favs! The lyrics are also thoughtful and well written. And Gregs voice fits just perfectly.
The song reminds me of the „Resurection“ album by Chimaira btw. Could be worth a listen to you as well. :)

It was going to. It’s the only one he wrote top to bottom on Reluctant Hero. He decided it fit more with KBK though. Great decision.

Best Metal Supergroup since Fantomas..
THIS LINEUP HAS ZERO FLAWS. I LISTEN TO AND PLAY ALONG WITH ONCE A DAY, HAVEN'T DONE THAT SINCE AENIMA. LOVE THE WAY ALL THREE VOCALS INTERACT AND COMPLEMENT / CONTRAST EACH OTHER. LIMITED GUITAR SOLOS NEVER SOUNDED SO GOOD AND I'M A GUITARIST.

I don’t really hear anything all that creative about his drumming. I mean, I think this is a great band, but you could honestly replace him with just about any drummer from any other metal band and they would sound the very same

@ J B Ben doesn’t really get to be as creative in this band. Kurt ballou writes riffs around bens drumming in converge and it alllws him to show how more chops. Listen to arkhipov calm or black cloud by converge.

Greg and Max are the MVP's imo. Troy does great sometimes when he's not all over the song. Thankfully, this was well executed.
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 I have a lot of love for Max (old school Sepultura fan), but I honestly find his contributions to KBK rather lacking, IMHO. Seems more like he's there just because he's a legend in the metal community. Greg kills it. No doubt about that. His range is off the charts, and his variability is nearly unsurpassed. Troy's voice adds something special, IMO. A completely different vocal style to the other two, and yet just as "metal", if that makes sense. His parts on this record (so far) have been far more defined, and frequent. Loving it thus far.
@@ShonnDaylee Yeah, maybe I'm just not a big enough Mastodon fan to appreciate his voice as much. Seems like Max didn't have as much moments in these singles from what I've heard so far but when he comes in he hits hard for me.
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 I figured as much. Nothing wrong with that. We all have a different rudder when it comes to what we steer towards musically. I'm a big fan of OLD school Mastodon (First 2 or 3 albums) when they were HEAVY (and quite unique), and Troy was their primary vocalist. Something about his unique sound that resonates with me. Max, as I've said, is an absolute legend. I love it when I get to hear his voice, in a KBK song, don't get me wrong. It almost makes up for Soulfly (Blegh....). He just seems to be underused/utilized. Mostly just chiming in during a chorus. Nevertheless, overall it is refreshing to see a metal band with 3 vocalists, that more or less contribute to every track.
