Idk why but the scene where cap is holding Thanos off always gets me. For me it just shows how hilariously outmatched the avengers were, how cap was at full capacity and Thanos just flicked him over. Very intense. And that music score :x gah

@@afifi2779 I'm not a Wanda fan tho, just appreciating their chemistry more after watching the series, then understanding it now when rewathing this scene.
Thanos only used the space stone, meaning he wasn’t trying and didn’t consider her a threat whatsoever. Wanda was only able to destroy the mind stone because she got powers from it. Thor overpowered a blast of all 6 infinity stones, and also came close to killing thanos despite being nerfed hard and being dumbed down

@@Frozo-nt2ky Stormbreaker was made to be able to counter the stones and the attack itself was when Thanos wasn't ready. And it was also stated that Thor was at his strongest during Endgame because he had both Stormbreaker and Mjornir and even him, cap, and iron man couldn't defeat Thanos. Wanda on the other hand was able to go toe to toe with Thanos on even playing grounds, and almost kill him.
@@Upstartvirus04 except it literally wasnt. The stormbreaker mold was created way before the infinity gauntlet. It’s referred to as an ancient thing, something even Eitri knows little about. And you clearly haven’t watched endgame if you don’t know why thor lost. He was able to go up against thanos even while fat, broken, and not using any of his powers. Not once did he use the bifrost, lighting or flying which thanos would have no way to counter.
@@Frozo-nt2ky Stormbreaker is made of Uru, which in itself is very energy and magically absorbent. This itself explains why the weapon itself was able to take the force of the six stones. I do apologize though for stating that it was made to counter the stones as, after a lot more research, that is clearly incorrect. What isnt incorrect though is that the weapon is naturally resistant to energy and magical means. And again, Thor attacked Thanos at a time when he was not ready, so we cant really count this as a feat as 1. The weapon is naturally resistant to the type of attack Thanos threw at the weapon. And 2. Thanos was not ready for the weapon and therefore couldn't counter it. Now look at the trinity battle against Thanos. While yes, while Thor was not at his most physically strongest during that battle he was not alone. Both Tony and Cap are very formitable fighters and it is not something to scoff at, and even then the three as a whole were not able to defeat Thanos. And if I'm not mistaken Thor did use some of his abilities during that fight as he did use lighting to charge up Tony's armor. Yes, he could utilized his abilities more during that fight but he didnt and we have seen later within the movie where Thor utilizes most of his abilities. During the very dramatic running scene where thor's initial attack was to do a slam similar to what he did in Infinity war and later on where he drops in from what we could properly assume was after flying around a bit. Now let's look at the fight between Wanda and Thanos. Wanda was able to multiple times make Thanos stumble with her initial telikintic blasts and even at one point causing him to fumble with his sword because of her blasts. We then get a scene where Thanos, who has been seen to be stronger than the Hulk, puts his whole weight and strength against Wanda in which she eventually overpowers him, a feat that Thor was not able to do in a similar scene, and BREAK his sword. A sword that is made out of Uru, the same material that we've only seen one other character do being Hela when she shatters Mjornir. The same metal that is what Stormbreaker is made out of, which was able to withstand the power of the infinity stones even if it is more naturally resistant. She then lifts Thanos up and causes him to in enough pain, who we've seen be able to tank multiple hits from the Hulk and come out on top unharmed, to call a rain fire to escape. It has even been stated by Kevin Feige that Wanda would have killed Thanos if he did not. And Wanda herself could have fought that battle better. She could have taken control of Thanos's mind, a feat we see her do to most of a city during Age of Ultron. She could have immobilized him from the start and caused him to see a nightmare, as we have also seen her do within Age of Ultron. And this is all without Wanda even knowing what her true potential could be, as we have seen in WandaVision. Both Thor and Wanda could have fought there battles better as they both did not utilize their full power set. But when it comes to which character has the greater potential, I'd say it would be Wanda. Yes, Thor was unfit during Endgame and probably would have performed better if he was but at least he had an understanding to what he could do. Wanda did not and was still able to beat Thanos. But after WandaVision she now has an understanding of what she is and is able to start to fully grasp what she can do. Thor already has an idea of that and I'd say he is much closer to his power cap compared to Wanda who has barely scratched the surface. I will again apologize for giving false information in my earlier comment, as it had been a while since I had watched Endgame and Infinity War. And I do apologize if I seem in anyway rude as that is not my intention. It actually for some reason nicked me in the wrong way when you say that I did not watch Endgame as I have watched it multiple times. Look I am as much of a Thor fan as much as I am Wanda's so understand that I want Thor to be just as powerful and want to see what he can really do with Stormbreaker during Love and Thunder as he has been leaked to be fit again and now has had time to master his weapon. But I can understand which character at this moment has the greatest potential as this is what the original comment has stated. Or they didnt, I dont know at this moment as my comment has gotten so long to the point I cant see the original comment anymore. They gave Wanda a huge power boost within WandaVision and it is only going to increase from there.
@@Upstartvirus04 it should still count as a feat nonetheless. You can’t say he was caught off guard when he had a good 6 seconds to notice him, which he did. He still fired the beam before thor even threw stormbreaker and we know he has no reason to hold back. The space stone and power stone have both been stated and in the power stones case, shown that they’re able to destroy entire planets in seconds. Yes, Stormbreaker is indeed immune to magic attacks. This means it could protect thor from anything Wanda throws at him.
She was ready to sacrifice the only strand of hope (vision) in her life, to save the universe and people think she was selfish and intended to hurt people of Westview .

"Cap, that's him." I like how even though there were people there that could kill cap (himself included), Bruce still spoke to cap first because he trusts him the most.
Before all this I feel Thanos was entertaining the fight and holding back. Here he doesn't even bother fighting. Everyone's power here is inconsequential to him. Nothing will stop him from his mission

What I thought was awesome about Cap holding back Thanos was that Thanos was not expecting anything like that to happen. If you examine his expression it's like he's thinking, "What?" Like he's genuinely surprised. Then he tries to push through and he realizes just how strong Cap is. That's when he sucker punches him. I honestly think he punched him because in that moment he came to respect Cap just like he does Tony.
I remember watching this for the first time. Already in complete distraught from the Thanos and Iron Man fight. At this point I didnt want to except it, but I knew Thanos was going to win
It really made me sad how captain America did that little thing to thanos and got the audience going wild, but when scarlet does a 10 times better job at killing vision and holding back thanos she gets nothing- she’s so underrated
Yeah but then again Cap is a human and he's just a kid from brooklyn. He stood up even when he felt he was basically fucked. It's always been hid thing and people were acknowledging well yeah he could very well die but he sure as hell wouldn't go down without a fight. And yes she was powerful and she did deserve a better reactionbut many people who read the comics knew she is strong asf and basically has zero chance of dying so she would fight knowing this.

Me too
Based on the reaction in this video probably not
Nope, I got goosebumps, chills, and I almost wet myself, the whole shebang
S you are only bro
Nah, the trailer spoiled the emotion.
When cap catches the gauntlet
Then the reaction of the audience😘😚😘
It wasn’t just Cap’s action so much Thanos’s reaction like “Did you just...did you just stop me? With your bare hands?”
@@MrKingYuji Yeahh
Cap is strong to be able to stop the power of the gauntlet
overrated piece of shit
Just like a dying goat
Who back then would’ve ever thought we will be seeing Wanda and vision in a sitcom show in three years 😂
Such powerful actors so much emotion!!
Captain America momentarily stops thanos.
Audience goes crazy.
Scarlett witch destroys the stone while effectively holding back thanos.
Audience is silent.
Wtf?!
Fun fact: Cap was the only one there who got up a second time.
I remember the first showing I went, this whole scene, everything, no one said a single word, the quietest I have heard a theater, no coughing, talking or eating...just silence
Dont mind me. I am just here to watch the most powerful avenger destroy an infinity stone with one hand and hold back 5 with the other
She held back only 1
“I blew a hole through the man’s head that I loved and it meant nothing”
"Do not speak to me about sacrifice, Stephen Strange".
The silence when Wanda start fighting thanos kill me
Ikr? All that cheering for Cap and not a whisper for Wanda. Broke my heart a little...

What did you expect, celebrations that vision was being killed
Cap’s reaction upon seeing Thanos:
“Eyes up, stay sharp.”
Arguably the best hand holding scene in the entire cinematic history.
U know just realized whenever Wanda and Thanos faces each other 1 on 1. Wanda never actually lost to thanos. Especially in end game, thanos was the one who was actually compromised honestly.. provided wanda wasn't been using her 100% power bec she still cant..
I honestly startet crying in the cinema when wanda had to destroy vision and after that i did not stop😥 that scene was sooo sad fot me i just love wanda and i feel sooo bad for her
But then someone here in the comments section wants you cheer and during Scarlett's emotional breakdown. Those guys are kids btw 😁
1:21 Vision: We are out of time.
Me: Hehe, hehe, time! Good one!
All I can think is how fucking screwed Thanos would’ve been if Wanda knew what she was
Visions death isn’t just the only death in that moment Wanda is gone then she is at that point becoming the scarlet witch
Thank you!!! I've always wanted to hear reactions to Steve holding Thanos back!!!
This was nothing. I watched it first day first show in india and the sound was deafening!! I shouted so hard throughout the movie that i had a sorethroat for like 3 days after that. Personally I am a Cap fan too.😍
T. Giftson Charles You guys over in India are fucking crazy lmao. In a good way though. I love a lively theater opening night. Shit gets so hype!
Cap. The only man that stood up twice.
I can do thiz all day🔥💓
That one leg slide was clean as hell
How hilarious would it be if Thanos just calmly stood there and let her destroy the stone before walking up and reversing time?
2:55 is the moment the whole world was waiting for.
I love how Bruce tells Steve "That's him" but Steve already knows cause he could hear the music...
Idk why but the scene where cap is holding Thanos off always gets me. For me it just shows how hilariously outmatched the avengers were, how cap was at full capacity and Thanos just flicked him over. Very intense. And that music score :x gah
You can imagine a Vision stan’s pain while watching this entire scene. The music still gives my chills, the absolute tragedy of the scene hurts my heart...
This scene hits different after watching WandaVision
How??🤣 its same for me...already almost cry when this scene out wayy before WandaVision
Love how people acting like Wanda fan but they definitely not
@@afifi2779 I'm not a Wanda fan tho, just appreciating their chemistry more after watching the series, then understanding it now when rewathing this scene.
Destroying an infinity stone with one hand, and stopping a titan with four infinity stones with the other hand, the most powerful avenger
Thanos only used the space stone, meaning he wasn’t trying and didn’t consider her a threat whatsoever. Wanda was only able to destroy the mind stone because she got powers from it. Thor overpowered a blast of all 6 infinity stones, and also came close to killing thanos despite being nerfed hard and being dumbed down
i have never cried for any movie but when vision was sacrificing himself it made me feel some way
then when peters death showed up that's when i dropped a tear
Vision: Wanda-we are out of, time
Captain America & The Winter Soldier: AM I A JOKE TO YOU!?!

Captain America may be weaker than Thanos but he managed to stand up to one the most powerful beings in the universe 2:43
I like him
people yell at Captain America who doesn't do shit, he just keeps holding the gauntlet and Wanda who had to hold him no one yells
Wanda wasn't too popular before her show
It's not about nothing do shit ... it's about will power we know that Thanos is more powerful than captain still he manage to stop Thanos gauntlet hand for few seconds and take time Wanda to destroy infinity stone ...
probably no one asked but...
the reason Thanos made that face when cap held his arm was that in the comics if you have the gauntlet with the soul stone and someone else touches it you could see their past cap touches the soul stone a bit while trying to stop Thanos so Thanos can see a glimpse of Captain America's past all he did and all he lost and for what...
In that one brief moment I think Thanos respected Captain America for having so much willpower to hold him.
Wanda is like the mage character in every games, so much damage but instantly dies when a fighter got her first with a critical damage 😂
*”…and it meant nothing.”*
up to this day I still love vision and wanda character arc,so much emotion
After watching Endgame, Wanda's True potential is greater than any Avenger as it was she who made Thanos shit scared for his life to REIGN Fire!!! 🔥
Thor almost killed thanos with 6 stones, and came much closer than Wanda
You can tell how Thanos went from devastated to realize he can fix the stone by rewinding time..
I’ve watched this movie countless times and the music in this scene never fails to give me chills.

"Cap, that's him."
I like how even though there were people there that could kill cap (himself included), Bruce still spoke to cap first because he trusts him the most.
Before all this I feel Thanos was entertaining the fight and holding back. Here he doesn't even bother fighting. Everyone's power here is inconsequential to him. Nothing will stop him from his mission
some of us coulf really feel the sad now after the fact that wanda said "no" there because she was just.. happy about the next vision's/their plan to "grow old in" in westview 😔
killing her bf must be something she wouldn't expect, then watching her bf's second death must be something that pushed her crazy
I just realized visions final words were I love you
lol, they cheered for cap trying to resist thanos' punch just for him to get knocked out with his right hand

Yeah that's how a movie should be watched unless you just wanna hear your own voice and miss dialogue like an idiot.
@@mercwithamouth77 Nope,I am sure even if that was Thor holding Thanos's hand, the audience would cheer. They cheered not because of their powers, but because of the popularity.Wanda was a lesser known name in MCU,compared to the original six. They weren't much fond of her that time.Fortunately, she is now getting recognition
