Helping my future daughter in law prepare 1000 cranes for their wedding. This is really helpful. Mine are a little wonky and will definitely have to be in the back of the display, but at least they’ll help her get to 1000.
Thanks
bros turning the world to origami
I have to do the same but for a girls scouts
you are such a sweet person❤the effort you are putting into a simple display, really shows your love..it doesnt matter how wonky it might be, the effort and time you put into it matters..may god bless you, your family and the couple❤
Keep giving out love..even if its a simple deed, it matters :)
your comment made my day!
@@ashifah5854 Thank you for your very kind note. We love our son’s fiancée.
For anyone wondering about 1,000 cranes, you make them for a person and they make a wish. It also heals.
Omg thank you, I used to make these all the time as a teen. I forgot how to make them and every other tutorial wasn't how I used to make them, and the other tutorials were hard to follow. Yours was a good pace and very clear! ❤❤
Glad I could help!

Love this so much! 🫶
If you're using one-sided origami paper, start with the printed side up.
Thanks

perfect tutorial! I have tried lots of times and this is the first time I have actually managed to successfully complete an origami project! Thanks
Glad it helped!
Same here 😂
THANK YOU!!!!! I've been trying to get this right since I was 11. She's a little crunchy, but I made my first paper crane at 23 years old.
My pleasure
lolll jkkkkkk
I'm 11 and I wanted to make one for for my cousin whose birthday party I'm going to tomorrow and I just can't get it right
@@ambr3301 Hey, kiddo. Here's some advice I wish I had at your age. Failure is how you learn and succeed. I gave up on the crane after I couldn't get it from paper instructions. I felt dumb because I didn't understand, but I just needed the right learning tool for me. Keep trying with different videos, written instructions, diagrams, or whatever helps you learn best! I hope this helps you make a crane and/or reminds you not to give up on whatever you want to do.
I agree! I am 11 years old as well (the person who also responded here), and the only main thing I struggle with in origami is corners. They're always a little bit creased, but overall, it turned out pretty good. But then again, I have been doing origami for like a year. If anyone knows anything that can help me at all, please let me know!
Thank you! Made a bunch for my mom, they're so cute ❤️
My pleasure
Thanks dude, you helped me make my first paper crane! He's a little wonky, but I think he's neat and I named him David
My pleasure

Now that I have the right paper, I can make these all the time! My aunt sent me origami paper today so I finally put it to use and made my first paper crane!Thank you
Wonderful!
It doesn’t matter paper size my mom made one with tissue once
Thank you so much I have 40 cranes because of you
these are so much fun to make, i cant stop 😭😭❤️
ikr now im obsessed

Don't wish bad things once you've folded 1000.
lol
Girly pops I’m with you
bro mine looks like it was hit by a truck
I get this. I’m a teacher and taught my kids to fold one using a tutorial. At the end, everyone shared their crane. A student said to me ‘At least you tried’. Another added, ‘you made one that was hit by a car’ lol 😂
I can make these from memory now, thanks! Should save me some time when im bored in class 😊😊
Have fun!
POV: you finally find a origami how to that isn't so fast that you are 5 steps behind if you blink or even too slow for your patience.
you know UA-cam has this feature called the pause button right? It allows you to pause the video whenever you want, then at any moment you wish, you are able to resume the video. You are then able to use this feature as many times as you like or for as long as you like.
@@plsdontbanmeagainyoulibtards you know there's a human body feature called "slow reaction time" it puts a limit on how fast you can do something.
@@Bleepbleepblorbus if you're so slow you cant pause the video when you need to and figure out what's on the screen, then you're too slow to even fold a piece of paper in half so what are you even doing here.
this is so helpful! the nonverbal communication is so key. i could follow almost in tandem with only a couple pauses. and the nice thing about the pacing is somehow it caused my brain to have a little recall from when i was younger, and i remembered the following step. thank you for making this so accessible.
Everyone loves a simple origami tutorial. It makes it easier for sure. I make cranes every single day as well.

😮 At the end it all made sense!
Back in Christmas 1997, I was in a high school play about post-WW2 Hiroshima and the city's folk heroine, Sadako Sasaki. The actress who played Sadako had to fold origami cranes as part of her characterization. After the play's run had come to an end, my old elementary school asked me to show them how to make cranes, so I had to ask the actress who played Sadako to show me how to do it before I could teach the kids. Thankfully, she was very helpful and I was able to be a good teacher for the kids.
That's great.
Thanks! I needed the tutorial for my senbazuru project. Great tutorial 😁
My pleasure
I asked for anyone who knew how to do this but I didn't understand at all😅 And this really helped😃

this is a good video, the beginning is a little different than how i was taught, but it eventually turns out the same except for the Crane's feet while should be a little spread. just a little appart. We're making a 千鶴 or 1,000 Cranes at work in Japan. it's supposed to heal people and God knows, People suffering from Covid-19 need healing. We're
disabled at work with disabled wages. but we're grateful for having work to do. life would be boring without work. ☮️🖖🎶
Thanks
Wow I did it! I tried it many years ago but wasn't able to do it, and today I managed to do my first origami crane. I had a thicker paper so it wasn't easy but I still did it and looks pretty nice. So happy!!

Thank you!! I have recently been appointed to be in charge of a summer camp and the director REALLY wanted me to do paper cranes with them. The theme is “World Tours” where each day the kids will get to experience different pieces of cultures around the world. Paper cranes have always given me a good bit of anxiety and stress figuring out (it’s a long story 😂)! They gave me a book that gave instructions on how to do it - I’ve probably spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure them out. Anyway - after testing it out with your video I think I can actually do it and hopefully help them not also develop the same irrational fear I’ve had all these years!🎉🎉🎉🎉
My pleasure

I have a lot of free time, which I'm gonna use for this.
