Thanks for your comments! regarsd from Spain ;)
EAEA is a flamenco lullaby. Éa éa is an onomatopoeia that Spanish mothers do to calm their children while they are crying. The song tells the story of a mother who wants to be buried in the moon when she dies to see her child every night except one (the new moon day). The red strings of the staging are very typical in the Spanish flamenco costumes. Also the song has references to the poems of Federico Garcia Lorca, one of the most important poets of Spain. This is the most Spanish entry we ever had and we are so proud of her
Is not an onomatopeia as an interjeccion. An onomatopeia supplies an animal or a thing by the sound, exemples: "quiquiriqui" (a roaster), "brum brum" (a motorcycle). Ea ea is an interjeccion as others like "ole", "caramba" ect. Blanca deserves to win (ole!) but spanish fans did not pass spanish language subject.
Such a lovely and detailed analysis of your impressions in this. I really enjoyed listening to you guys 😃! Thanks a ton!

EAEA EAEA EAEA it's an onomatopoeia, it's when a mother whispers to her baby to calm him down and to sleep. I like the song of Blanca Paloma like you Set Weridu its, but what else... It is when Blanca Paloma kneels and sings that of; when I die, they bury me in the moon, so I can see my child every night, except one, which is the night of the new moon or full moon, for me that is talking about the love that processes your child more beyond his death, he left it there... I loved seeing his reaction, I send you a greeting
Sentimiento, emoción y ❤. Saludos desde 🇪🇸
Gracias
Congratulations...!
Yes. this is a rooted historical artistic, universal and poetry masterpiece...

Go on, and continue doing reactions!!!
Kisses from Madrid 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
🕊️🇪🇦Blanca Paloma's performance is not a song. It is an immersive experience, a musical and visual poem. It is conceptual, minimalist and of high artistic quality.
Thanks guys for your reaction you both are so kind and nice, it is wonderful we can connect among different countries or cultures, music has the power to join people ❤ saludos desde España amigos
As already has been said the "ea ea ea..." is usually used here in Spain, to calm or soothe a baby when is crying. This song is the one that her own grandmother (Paloma's) sang her when she was a child, so it's also a tribute to her grandma. The moon is a very important device because is the place where she wants to be buried so that she can protect her child from the sky, when death comes for her....and there are other many touching elements in this lullaby...the best for me, apart from transmitting Spanish folk and culture, is that all their feelings are UNIVERSAL; the love of a mother, the love for a child, your family (grandmother), the fear of loss, life versus death...and so forth...beautiful! LOVE U guys!
Blown away in such a wonderfull way, those Emotions get deep skin, vibes of something so espiritual and extreme beauty. Its wonderfull see reactions of people although dont get the líric they just felt so touch , sheding even tears. It reach Hearts and thats what high quality voice, music and this performance full of symbolism provokes, so many good vibes. A return to the past, something genuine and pure. 😍❤️😊👍🇪🇦🌹
Glad you enjoyed this performance!

I enjoyed your reaction more than any other I had seen before yours. It's genuinely well-informed and pretty interesting. You don't simply make faces during the song and then say whether you like it nor not. You critically analyze the song and that's what makes the difference. We live in a strange era when everybody can be a 'critic'. The difference lies in whether the criticism is based on grounded arguments, so keep it up!
Here you will find a complete explanation in English of the spanish song, translation of the lyrics, staging and history. ua-cam.com/video/1NL_n_RCNbs/v-deo.html
Although it may seem strange, I understand that it reminds you of some African story or legend, since the song and the staging connect with something common to all cultures: the importance of ancestors. In fact, the dance of the women is an invocation to the ancestors.
