@dlwk1988 tbh they are usable but you need to invest into them a lot, and characters like preservation march don't have a lot of team options A newer low investment dps would probably still outdamage an old high investment dps So while yes...they are usable, most people would prefer other characters

Idk if this counts as spoilers or not, but back in the earliest Alphas of HSR, Elysia was a playable character and shared many of her kit's things with March 7th. It is very likely that Elysia is that counterpart.
I’ve been using Preservation March with Fugue + Ruan Mei & it’s been one of my top 3 favorite teams lately. She’s such a blast from the past & helps my Acheron build stacks quickly! I run her at 154 spd, Landau’s choice, 99.7 effect hit rate & it’s pretty cool!

As a March main from day one of me playing in all her forms (she gets a 5 star varient my money is screwed) this made me happy and was really fun to watch I love her so much ^^
For a while I played March equipped with Aventurine's cone, alongside Aventurine and Acheron. The idea was that whenever someone got attacked March would counter and apply a debuff, being able to charge up to 3 points of Acheron's ult per turn. It was quite fun ngl
I still happily, confidently use March 7th as my main Preservation Character. I use her E6 in FUA teams, right now with Yunli, Lynx and Robin. And with how many FUA she does, even if her own damage is low and she just triggers Robin's attacks, I am SURPRISED how no one ever talks about that role for her.
imagine this is the start of getting as skins and side stories like halloween events, and christmas events and i hope in halloween castorice will be the halloween queen and have her dragon as a giant pumpkin that abosrbs moonlight and shoot moonlight beam at enemies
btw the reason why the other elite hit firefly cause there was a mark on her to be targeted... the reason why the number is different cause when trotter dies, it deals true dmg to enemies
another use of Preservation March is with Acheron; you equip March with the Light Cone that causes Burn on enemies when attacked so she can stack debuffs for Acheron's Ultimate
I use her with Fugue as a battery for acheron it not the best Acheron team, but it is a pretty fun team to use March in, and with Jiaoqiu in this team Acheron get her ulti very fast (use Fugue to buff March so when the enemy hit you Acheron will get 2 stack per enemy action)
BiS Acheron sustain in Pure Fiction. Use skill on self with Topaz preservation lightcone (the one that burns enemies that attack you) = win. Also - I don't have Fugue but I heard she can turn any character into a debuffer. If you use it on March, you'll get ridiculous amount of stacks from her FuA. Might even make her relevant outside PF. Throw in Jojo as 2nd Nihility and even E0S0 Acheron should be pretty strong (stronger than on release)

I actually use march with feixiao and robin right now but march been my main sustain for robin since 2.3. March follow attack frequency is very good for robin energy and my robin has eidolons which makes march an insane follow up robin proc damage dealer, she can also dispel for your team, apple freeze, amd do some heals from e6. As long as you have enough skill point her sustainability is just enough for me to kill before the enemy kills me
March is my most used 4 star and I love bringing her to endgame as a "meme" sustain option that honestly very often helps a lot and synergizes really well with a lot of teams, her counters and ult feed into The Herta making her arguably even better than Aven thanks to her attack frequency, any time there's an Ice weak stage with an easy to stun boss (not very often) I'll just bring her out and honestly having her that low on the tierlist is a pure joke, she has actual utility and is capable of solo sustaining if you give her a lot of speed and EHR, she doesn't even need much defense. In PF she's also insanely good and has had some buff rotations where she genuinely stormed by exploiting counters, she only falls off in Apoc where sustain can be an issue very often and the bosses there are very often just immune to stun, yet even THERE I've gotten some fast clears with her and Boothill
I still remember when break effect was considered the most useless stat for such a long time in the 1. patches T-T Now literally anyone can do big numbers on a break build Which reminds me, you used to have a pretty strong break effect silver wolf even back in the day! Have you considered ever revisiting break silver wolf in the current break meta, like with hmc, ruan mei, fugue and a full break build? Im sure it will be very copium but could be a fun video especially since silver wolf is very dead in the meta rn

Shield March kit is weird her damage is based on her attack stat? Why? She needs Defense in order to boost her shields, granted some of her defense get added on later to damage but only on her FuA which is something but was it on her trace? Or was it Eidolon? Can't remember but her kit just doesn't make sense to me.

I swear we all praised hsr when it dropped but it’s just stagnated where it is and that’s just not good anymore. You’d expect a game to improve as it goes with more animation during dialogue or cinematography(as Reddit’s been complaining) or new animation for new skins is the least they could’ve done man. I don’t play wuwa but from what I’ve heard that game has been improving based on its criticism so why can’t hsr? (I’m not even complaining about the en Va’s as that’s not fully a hoyo fault here)

Yeah DoT also uses the slightly glowier numbers too, so I think they just represent damage that doesn't come from a direct attack

Her E4 does that, and her FUA is a way for her to get energy faster to get her Ult faster and freeze the ennemy.
