Glasgow Central is one of the major terminus stations in Scotland. The station is managed by Network Rail.
ScotRail operates the majority of services at this station and run trains to Lanark, Newton, Motherwell, Edinburgh, Paisley, Wemyss Bay, Ayr, Port Glasgow, and Carlisle via Dumfries.
Avanti West Coast provides connections to Carlisle, Penrith, Oxenholme, Lancaster, Preston, Wigan, Birmingham and the midlands, and London Euston.
TransPennine Express runs to Carlisle, Penrith, Lancaster and Manchester.
CrossCountry runs to Edinburgh, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Newcastle, Darlington, York, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Exeter, Bristol and Plymouth.
LNER runs one train per day to London Kings Cross via Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Caledonian Sleeper provides a night time service through Preston to London Euston.
